Why on earth would we trade for this assclown? Sounds like a real piece of work and lockerroom cancer and the complete opposite of what this new regime is looking for.

Corner Back help needed
SaviorPeterman replied to Billzgobowlin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We very well may need to make a move because this pass defense is all of a sudden a huge concern going forward. In fact the net 378 yards given up yesterday to Winston was the most the Bills have allowed since 2011 and even worst than Rex's defense the last few years. -
Answering Points With Points
SaviorPeterman replied to SinceThe70s's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Interesting stat I found on Twitter, but the Bills have lost their previous 35 games when allowing 27 or more points until yesterday. Possibly a true franchise game changer with the big comeback win against the Bucs. -
As much as I hate to give credit to another hated division team, the Dolphins have that look of a team that is going to win 11+ games this year and they are one of the most complete teams in the NFL. They remind me a lot of Bill Parcells Jets teams back in the day. If there was a true dark horse that might have a shot to knock the Pats out of the playoffs it would be them. Don't see them winning the division though.

It's bad enough listening to people like Collinsworth slobbering over them. But what the Pats are doing tonight on national TV against the Falcons is sending a clear message to the rest of the NFL sadly. -

I'm very serious, what exactly are you unclear about or do you really not believe the Pats are this good despite their dominance over a team that had every motivation in the world to come out and play their best game of the season tonight considering what happened in the playoffs? My god they just stuffed the Falcons on the 1 yard line and are flat out destroying their souls in this game. I know some folks hate that I give the Pats credit, but what am I supposed to do sit back and cry and wait for Brady to retire in 5 years (which is probably what is going to happen at this rate. -

Yep pretty much. Was never truly sold on Denver but thought for sure the Falcons were an elite team. Either way Bills need to beat the teams in front of them and if they are still in the playoff hunt come December they'll be a chance for some quality wins given what is shaping up to be a brutal 2nd half schedule. -

It's very hopeless, and right now I don't see a team in the entire NFL, let alone the AFC that is capable of beating the Pats in the playoffs or SB. I'll say this though, if Miami keeps rolling they might be a dark horse candidate. Not for the division title of course, but to possibly pull of a huge upset in Foxboro in the playoffs like Rex's jets did some years ago. They are certainly built like those teams were and Gase has done a hell of a job with that team. In the end though it's probably going to be the Pats vs whatever NFC team emerges from the scrap heap. -

Unreal. Oh well game over for sure now. Amazing how teams continue to collapse and everything that can possibly go wrong does playing this god forsaken team. -

A couple things to watch for in the 2nd half: 1) Pats having a lot of success running their offense out of the jumbo set, if it continues it will set up the play action for some deep shots later. 2) When the Falcons had success early on in the SB they were generating a ferocious pass rush up the middle, however tonight it's non existent and Brady is able to step up in the pocket with ease to find his receivers. Falcons need to show something on this drive or they are toast. -

I'm not delusional, our best and only real chance was always going to be via wild card. But it sucks knowing that we are right there if the Pats could have lost another or two while the defense was still playing like trash. Right now they are vastly improved and the Pats are rolling right on schedule. -

That's my guess as well although wouldn't rule out another 14-2 season en route to another title, their defense has certainly stepped up even if they still have kinks to work out along the way and ironically seem to be playing better without Gilmore of all players. -

The jury is still out on McD but have to cut him a little slack as a rookie head coach. But I agree some his decisions are mind boggling at best, will catch up to this team if he don't start to coach like he preaches his players to play...smart. -

Yes but now they are about to lose their 3rd straight game. Watching the Pats toy with this team is sickening. Any any faint chance we had at the division title is pretty much going up in flames, and looking at the Pats schedule they probably won't lose a game again for a least a month (possibly at Oakland). Just tired of this crap. -

Watching this game truly makes me feel morose and deflated. Not just because the Pats are doing their usual thing, but because our win against the falcons looks truly meaningless given how weak they look. -

I really wish people would stop with this, just pointing out the obvious that teams always seem to crumble when playing the Pats. Bills fans should know this first hand after what happens when we play them twice a year. -
All the different ways to look at the defense
SaviorPeterman replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would not be surprised if the entire LB corps is revamped in the offseason similar to the secondary. Milano has potential but it's still early and he is a late round pick but I have no problem moving on from Brown and Alexander, keeping the latter around for pass rushing ability and more of a role player. -

I think the Falcons can win this game but what concerns me is their mental and emotional state in this game knowing what happened in the superbowl. Belichik is a master of exploiting teams like this under those circumstances but you have to figure the motivation factor is on the Falcons side regardless. -
PFF grades for todays game

Glenn earned his money today but remember it was against the 31st ranked defense and Bucs are among the leagues worst in terms of sacks and QB pressures. A step in the right direction though regardless should Glenn remain on this roster. -
All the different ways to look at the defense
SaviorPeterman replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This defense is very Jauron like in terms of the 'bend but don't break' style but I think we are starting to see opposing teams figure out how to attack this team. At the end of the day though it's all about pressure and confusing opposing QB's and for the most part this defense was very vanilla today with their looks. It was the classic l'ine up and see if the other team can beat us' and today the Bucs did exactly that scoring the most points yet against McD and Fraziers's defense, in a home game to boot. If we continue to do this against the Raiders and other great QBs/offenses left on the schedule and I certainly don't like our chances in terms of shootouts and relying on Taylor and the offense to mount comebacks. -

By and large the oline did their part today, but keep in mind coming into the game the Bucs dline was a not an area of strength in terms of sacks and QB pressures. Next week it will be a different story as the Raiders are graded out as a top 10 defense by PFF despite some of their overall numbers which are misleading. Also Khalil Mack has the ability to single handedly dominate a game and I'm not warm and fuzzy thinking about him matchup up against this oline. -
Winston is a top 10 QB in this league regardless of what the Bucs do this year.

Best Overall Game for the Bills, Despite Mistakes
SaviorPeterman replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't agree it was the best overall game but certainly the offense stepped up when they needed too. And If the offense can pick it up we'll have a real shot at the playoffs. But I think at this point it's clear the defense isn't going to hold up which I maintained all along despite the smoke and mirrors early in the season. Injuries also starting to pick up again with Poyer the latest victim.
