  1. Biggest concern with this game is the Bills (specifically the offense) have not been good on the road so far this year other than the Atlanta game which some will argue they could have/should have lost if not for the WR injuries to the Falcons. I think the key will be the 1st quarter and if the Bills can figure out how to score some early points and avoid another slow start. Don't let this Jets team get momentum and build a lead like they did against the Pats and Dolphins in recent weeks because unlike those teams we obviously aren't equipped to mount comebacks when trailing by 2+ scores.
  2. Its' a funny league, but give Denver credit for having a high standard at the QB position. They'll certainly be looking to upgrade next year via FA or the draft.
  3. Hyde already has a career high with 5 INT's and we've only played 7 games this season. Prior to 2017, he had a total of 8 INT's his entire 4 year career with the Packers. If this is what The Process is going to be about with McD coaching the Bills are certainly in a great spot going forward especially with all the new young talent we are going to acquire from the draft next year.
  4. Tonight will certainly tell us a lot about this team. Jets have lost 3 in a row but held 14 points leads in two of them before collapsing, both those leads were against division teams in the Pats and Dolphins. One thing in particular this team still needs to improve on is 1st quarter play and hopefully coming out tonight and scoring some points early will go a long way to avoiding a potential let down and disappointment.
  5. During the last 17 years we've watched many teams make remarkable turnarounds going from terrible to the playoffs in just one year. And we all have said how are these teams doing this but Buffalo continues to be stuck in neutral? The answer was always simple, the right HC and GM combination. Sure a franchise QB can also help accelerate the process but it's not everything. But in the case of the Bills they appear to have finally found the answers that have eluded them for so many years.
  6. Beane wasn't the GM here when we signed Hyde. Not saying it was all him but he had to have some input. Regardless this team has made some POWER moves to completely reshape this roster after last year.
  7. Regardless of how you want to describe Simeon's first two games, his numbers pretty much led the league at the time with 6 TD passes. Just seems a bit premature to pull the plug on him and turn to Osweiler of all people who was probably the worst starting QB in the league last year with Houston.
  8. While personally i'm still in a 'show me' mode with Taylor, there's no question his play has been more than adequate in recent weeks. Will be interesting to see what he does tonight though in our first road game since the Cincy debacle.
  9. I can't focus on work right now. I'm pacing around the house because it feels like my chest is going to explode from the anxiety about this game. To say this game is LARGE is an understatement!
  10. Urban slang, kind of like how Dem boys from B-LO going to be ballin tonight!!!
  11. I knew Hyde was a decent player but I never saw this coming. I guess Whaley deserves some credit for this teams turnaround this year after all.
  12. Amazing this guy is still only 26 years old. Would be an amazing redemption story if he comes back and stays clean, just hope it's not with the Pats or Dolphins.
  13. Petty insults aside, I'm still perplexed that some fans believe a team that is one game worse than us in the loss column is so terrible. Especially one that lost their franchise QB in training camp but have still managed 4 wins in their first 7 games. And even if Miami flames out and doesn't end up making the playoffs again this year it doesn't mean their long term future is bleak. They have a solid foundation of talent and one of the best forward thinking GM/HC combos in the business. Like I said, even after the Patriots are out of the picture (if that happens) don't mean the Bills are going to have an easy path back to dominance of the division.
  14. I honestly don't expect much from him in the first few games but his production could be LARGE down the stretch if we are truly making a serious playoff run.
  15. I'll be sick to my stomach if it happens but they would be my first guess too since Hoodie loves dealing with the Browns.
  16. The NFL is all about cycles and wouldn't be surprised if the Bills return to prominence and dominate the AFC East again after the Patriot reign is over. Wouldn't discount the Dolphins though because Tannenbaum and Gase are building a hell of a program down in Miami and who knows what could happen with the Jets if they land a franchise QB next year in the draft.
  17. It's brutal for me because of the 4 games against the Dolphins & Pats alone. I have us 1-3 in those games but 3-1 in the rest (assuming a Jets win tomorrow that gets us to 6-2 first). 10-6 should be enough to get a wildcard this year, at least I think.
  18. PFF's advanced analytics and metrics have the Bills finishing with 10 wins which is also what I'm predicting mostly because of the brutal 2nd half schedule: https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-nfl-win-predictions-for-all-32-teams-over-the-rest-of-the-season?utm_content=buffer15913&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=nfl
  19. I've always felt that when Brady retires Belichik will probably also do the same. Their legacies are set in stone as the greatest HC and QB ever in the NFL and we'll never see anything like this again. And most Past fans won't truly appreciate what they had until it's gone.
  20. He's been one of the best DB's in the NFL since being drafted and don't see this as an issue even if he was half assing it on that play.
  21. There is no downside to making him active for the game even if he barely plays. Jets aren't exactly terrible and at the very least it gives their coaches and defense something to think about if he lines up on offense.
  22. I can see why some folks would think that but the Packers overall probably weren't good enough to win a SB this year even with Rogers healthy. They had a very good chance of getting there though in a watered down NFC conference. That's why I credit Hoyer for being unselfish and picking the better option to win a championship via backup to Brady on the Pats because still not sure there is a team in either conference that will seriously challenge them this year.
  23. Bronco's QB situation is anything but LARGE right now sadly.
  24. We have a possible franchise QB on the bench but we are being patient and developing him the right way. Obviously if Taylor was sucking right now he wouldn't be playing. But despite Peterman's potential don't be surprised if the Bills double down and draft another QB next year anyway.
  25. Hoyer was starting for a terrible 49ers team most of the year and actually played fairly well. You can argue he immediately becomes the best backup QB in the league now given the circumstances but obviously the Pats are hoping they don't have to see him play anything more than garbage time.
