  1. Or labeled as a pats fan in general for stating the obvious. It was pretty clear this team and defense was a fraud after the Bengals and Bucs games. The former we had 3 TO's and still couldn't win on the road against a terrible Bengals team, the latter we had 4 TO's and barely won at home against another terrible team and it took a rare Taylor comeback from down 7 or more points to do it.
  2. Yes, in hindsight he simply got lucky with all the sacks last year but wasn't really any good either against the run. The reality is this entire front seven is trash and it's sad watching KW out there too because he's beyond finished.
  3. Here's the thing about mistakes, NFL coaches don't want to admit a mistake. So even if the right move is to go back to Taylor (at least for the next few weeks), it likely won't happen because McD would look weak especially to the rest of the team. He's trying to send a message and pretty sure he could care less about the veterans who are all long gone from this team after the next 6 games anyway. Plus if guys truly quit he'll just bench them and start all backups and 3rd stringers. Either way the future seems pretty bleak as we approach the offseason.
  4. He might be good at selling false hope in Buffalo every year but selling football to the city of Buffalo is like selling cigarettes to a pack a day smoker. In other words it's probably not as hard of a job as most believe because as bad as things have got the last 17 years people seem to keep lining up for tickets and merchandise no matter what and still will next year.
  5. He would have truly been a savior for this franchise and cleaned house. We might not be any better than we are right now but no way the likes of Russ Brandon would still have a job working for him.
  6. Wouldn't be surprised by guarantee both him and McD wish they were still with the 7-3 Carolina Panthers organization right now.
  7. Amazing the agenda that the MSM Sports outlets have pushing this as some sort of racial issue. Sad! This is great for TT and his agent though because with the media's help they are going to create a ridiculously false market for him in the offseason, maybe we'll be able to fleece another desperate team in a trade after all.
  8. You ain't kidding, which makes the situation in NE with Belichik that much more impressive. Please cherish what you have because I'd certainly kill to have anything close to it.
  9. You have to be kidding, she's a former bartender/waitress and that's how she met TP.
  10. Yes this is probably a more accurate description. I'm sure he's a great guy, him and his wife, but dosn't mean I want them owning my sports teams unless something drastically changes. Either way the ridiculously long list of folks collecting fat paychecks from the Pegulas after being fired is about to grow the next few years between Phil Housely and then McD/Beane.
  11. Russ Brandon is pulling the strings for the Sabres too. Pegula's truly believe this guy is a genius hence why I said fans of both teams are in trouble because of how easily swayed they are by used car salesmen types like Brandon, Rex Ryan, and now McD/Beane. Just goes to show any braindead idiot can get rich if they are lucky like how Terry Pegula and his bartender wife did with oil.
  12. Until they completely 'drain the swamp' (to quote one of Trump's favorite lines) and rid themselves of the stench of the previous ownership nothing will change. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever why Russ Brandon should still be employed by this organization. Don't want to hear he's just a marketing guy and has nothing to do with the team, he has everything to do with it and still very much pulling the strings behind the scenes from my understanding. That's why the Pegulas need a true outsider as the leader of the organization. Just like they should have hired a real GM first and let him bring in his coach, not vice versa.
  13. It's truly going to suck watching St. Doug and Mularkey make the playoffs this year especially considering both were the only HC's during the drought to get this team to 9 wins and resigned because they were smart enough to know a terrible front office and incompentent ownership were going to drag them down in the long run. And that's just it, nothing has truly changed under the Pegulas compared to the Wilson days. It's the same pathetic circus under a new tent.
  14. I understand, just didn't want any rapid liberals to pounce and make this into something it's not. Also let's not forget St. Doug also jumped shipped because he didn't believe the Pegulas had a clue. And even though he paid the price having to work as an assistant a few years in Jax he's about to be vindicated in a major way and proved he was right about them. Bottom line, the Pegulas appear to be terrible sports franchise owners and not sure how they can continue to sell the fanbases of each respective franchise no matter how much money they continue to burn and throw around.
  15. Which is why you have to seriously question the McD hire since he's another alleged 'defensive genius'. Sure this team is lacking talent just about everywhere on defense but you have to figure he would have at least been able to sustain certain areas of this unit like we saw the first 5 weeks. Still hard to fathom that in just 3 years a top 5 defense under St. Doug and Jim Schartz would hit rock bottom.
  16. Taking Trump and politics out of the equation, does anybody really believe the Pegulas are good owners or have a clue what they are doing? The Sabres and Bills are complete messes and neither team is going anywhere soon. And I still question why on earth they have kept people like Russ Brandon (who has even more power with the Pegulas since he's essentially the hatchet man for both teams now) and Jim Overdorf around. Also considering how easily seduced they were by Rex Ryan and now Sean McD it just seems they are truly in over their heads.
  17. Chiefs have lost 4 of 5 after a red hot 5-0 start with wins over the Pats and Eagles. But something tells me the bills are the perfect 'get back on track' type of game for them this weekend.
  18. If Dennison needs to go what about Leslie Frazier? Obviously this is McD's defense but why not make your DC an obvious scapegoat unless you believe it's not his fault either? We will almost certainly move on from Dennison after this season but it's crucial we make the right hire especially if that guy is going to be working with NP and/or a 1st round draft pick.
  19. Not if you've been paying attention to this team in recent years...
  20. My guess is they'll turn back to Taylor for at least the next game in KC, probably NE too then put NP back in for the Colts assuming we lose these next two and will pretty much be at the bottom of the 'In The Hunt' graphic and standings.
  21. Pretty much, and despite the wins against the Bucs and Raiders this team pretty much peaked in Atlanta and probably wouldn't have on that game anyway if not for the injuries to their WR's that day. But yes deep down most knew the Jets game in primetime was the Bills truly showing the world yet again who they are in trainwreck fashion like the Bills know how to do. In fact for all the talk about hating TNF games the Bills actually played better than they did the last two weeks against the Saints and Chargers in hindsight.
  22. I've already made my peace on the situation and ate crow so to speak. But the bottom line is TT isn't a franchise QB and not taking this team anywhere either so the move to start NP is/was still justified by this regime even though it backfired in spectacular fashion.
  23. I truly believe this franchise is going to hit 20+ years with no playoffs especially if we blow next years draft and either reach for a QB that's not worth it and/or swing and miss on key players where we have gaping holes. Either way it's hard to have any faith whatsoever in McD and Beane given the current state of this franchise and they probably get 3 full years at minimum, maybe more because the Pegulas are in over their heads.
  24. Yes but as we've already seen with the Jets and Chargers, records don't mean much and despite having 5 wins the Bills are playing like the worst team in the NFL right now compared to teams like the 49ers, Giants and Browns who are actually playing very hard and taking teams down to the wire. Guarantee the Bills woulnd't beat any of those teams right now on the road and probably not in Buffalo either.
  25. RIP. Bledose and Glenn had some great years together in NE and Dallas, including some good games against the Bills during their heyday in NE.
