Mills & Henderson yesterday
SaviorPeterman replied to Mark Vader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In all seriousness it's certainly something this team would do. John Miller didn't have a great camp/preseason but he was far from terrible last year but obviously he didn't fit into this teams plans since he was another Whaley draft pick. But every coach that has come through here during the drought years has had an unhealthy obsession with a player or two that most fans and armchair GM's view as an absolutely horrendous player and liability. Whether it's coaching ego or just simply being clueless these pet projects never turn out well. For McD it's certainly Ducasse so far, with Tolbert being a close second. And based on what we've seen from Cadet, Tolbert has no business getting any meaningful carries again for this team when he's healthy. -
Belichick doesn't allow team celebrations
SaviorPeterman replied to T-Bomb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Hoodie runs a tight ship, and this is what's needed in Buffalo to truly turn this thing around. Either way the Patriots organization is in a different realm compared to 31 other NFL franchises. From top to bottom they simply get it. -
Turning our KC Pick into a top 5 pick?
SaviorPeterman replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wouldn't be surprised if this happens especially if they don't have faith in NP or thing he's made strides since the Chargers debacle. -
Trent Edwards had something like a 14-15 record as the Bills starter too, mind you with much worse rosters and coaching. TT's W/L record is just another very misleading metric among many. And it will be very telling to see what the market for him truly is in the offseason because I still don't see us getting anything worthwhile if we try to trade him and not sure teams will be lining up to sign him either other. And still think whatever team he lands with next year he'll either have to earn a starting job or simply be a placeholder for a rookie QB with a short leash.

We always seem to play worse against the Pats at home for some reason especially getting hammered early. This is why i'll predict the the Pats will score at least 21 points by halftime, so the question will be whether or not the Bills can match that and take some serious chances early on. Either way if Hauscha is kicking a lot of field goals again in this game we'll have no chance of winning, need TD's and lots of them to compete and even have a minute chance of upsetting this team.

Is anyone here really a Tyrod fan?
SaviorPeterman replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Taylor goes to another team next year and looks like a different QB posting 300+ yard games regularly then I'll be more than happy to admit I was wrong and chalk it up to the Bills being terrible and not having the right coaching/players around him. But in reality we all know that's not going to happen, a great QB would have had more than one lousy 300 yard game by now regardless of the coaching and talent. I don't even believe Fitzpatrick is a better QB than Taylor but even he had his bright spots and big days in Buffalo on some very bad teams. I think best case for TT is to land on a team like Denver or Jax next year where he can truly play the Alex Smith role to perfection behind a great defense. But even then he'll simply be keeping the seat warm for a high draft pick QB or have a very short leash as a starter if another viable option is on the roster. -
Tre' White Got the Call from Deion
SaviorPeterman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They still happened but it's very telling that this defense does seem to be completely different with Gaines (healthy) and in the lineup. Problem is he's still somewhat of a liability because he can't stay healthy. Will be interesting to see what this regime decides to do with him in the offseason since he's an UFA. -
Turning our KC Pick into a top 5 pick?
SaviorPeterman replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Denver lands a top 5 pick they aren't trading it if a franchise QB is there. And if they do they would be asking for a fortune and what would that say if John Elway believes a QB in that spot isn't worth taking and makes the deal with Buffalo or another team. -
Mills & Henderson yesterday
SaviorPeterman replied to Mark Vader's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Still trying to comprehend why both Mills and Ducasse are still starting but obviously nothing is changing at this point. Won't be surprised if a multiyear extension with Ducasse is announced soon either because it would be a Bills type of move. -
Tre' White Got the Call from Deion

Nice to see Tre White ballin and getting that call last night. With Gaines in the lineup alongside him this team is 5-2. -
Was this a meaningful late season win?
SaviorPeterman replied to T-Bomb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If KC was playing like they did in the first 5 weeks of the season then yes of course this would be meaningful. But in reality I think we simply beat a team struggling more than us right now and caught them at the right time. Also in hindsight I don't believe the loss at LA last week was that bad considering they are the best team in the AFCW and likely winning out and taking that division. -
crappy watkins still soft as they come
SaviorPeterman replied to re enlightener's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some fans can't let go and are pissed because they think TT is struggling because of Watkins not being here anymore. And while that may be true to a certain extent it doesn't change the reality that this team would still be 6-5 now with Watkins still here. -
Lol @ Doug Marrone and the jags
SaviorPeterman replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me neither, Dolphins certainly not as good as expected this year although they could still get hot and win out if they can put it all together. Either way I guarantee we aren't sweeping the Dolphins this year, Bills are 3-7 (soon to be 3-8) in their last 10 division games and Dolphins have a better chance of sweeping us quite frankly than we do of even splitting with them. -
Funny how the Packers can look like this on the road in Pittsburgh after playing like complete trash at home last week against the Ravens. And if you believe the Bills still have a legit chance at the playoffs this does nothing for them if the Steelers lose tonight, they needed the Ravens to lose last week against this same Packers team.

The Penalty (Bad Call in Chiefs Game)
SaviorPeterman replied to Numark3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not big on the officiating conspiracy theories, but calls like the one in question is why folks truly believe the refs work with Vegas to ensure certain outcomes. If the Chiefs had come back to score a TD and win by one point the favored Chiefs win and Bills cover the spread (which was pretty ridiculous to begin with). I guess the Bills winning outright was not the desired outcome for Vegas, too bad. -
Watkins needs to step up.... Woods out....
SaviorPeterman replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is the #3 WR on the Rams behind Cupp (a rookie) and Robert Woods. I never said he's not a good player but at least with the Rams he's nothing more than a 3rd option. Probably why he won't resign there even if they want to keep him because he's a typical selfish player and probably believes he can put up 1500+ yards a season on another team as the #1 option. Problem is some people still believe he'd make a difference here this season and that TT would magically be a different QB with him still on the roster. This is false. -
Lol @ Doug Marrone and the jags
SaviorPeterman replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nice upset by the Cardinals for sure but St. Doug is still going to the playoffs one way or another this year. Hopefully they offer us a 3rd round pick for Taylor to be their starter next year. -
We are still a terrible team
SaviorPeterman replied to The juice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously I'm not a fan of Taylor, but I've said all along on a team that has a great defense and can do what ours did today consistently throughout a 16 game season then obviously he's good enough to get you to the playoffs. But at the end of the day this is still a league driven by QB play and offense which is why we need to find a real answer, whether it might still be NP or somebody not on the roster right now. Wish I was wrong too but there is ZERO chance we are winning either game against the Pats no matter what anybody here would like to believe. And even if we win the other 3 against the Dolphins x2 and Colts something tells me 9-7 won't be enough with the way things are shaping up right now. A lot of teams in the WC picture and if the Texans can beat the Ravens tomorrow on MNF it helps the Bills but makes things even murkier in terms of the 'in the hunt' graphic. -
Watkins needs to step up.... Woods out....
SaviorPeterman replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watkins had a decent game today but he's nothing more than a 3rd WR on a very good team. Same thing with a lot of the starters we have, on better teams they are nothing more than backups and role players. Either way people need to move on, the Watkins trade was a good one for this team long term regardless of whether or not we keep Gaines. -
McDermott's Postgame Locker Room Victory Speech
SaviorPeterman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually I predicted a win as recent as this morning for the same reason we did end up winning....we played another terrible team trending in the wrong direction after a 5-2 start. In fact the Chiefs were 5-0 at one point with wins over the Pats and Eagles and everybody was talking them up as a serious contender and Alex Smith being a league MVP candidate. Like I said a win is nice but just like in years past all these pointless late season wins serve nothing but to drum up false hope for next year and ruin draft position. -
We are still a terrible team
SaviorPeterman replied to The juice's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm happy for the fans that were looking for a glimmer of hope during the long holiday weekend but I'm not fooled. All today did was prolong the inevitable and ruin draft position, ironically though it might help improve the draft pick we are getting for the Chiefs because I see them losing at least a few more games given their upcoming schedule. -
McDermott's Postgame Locker Room Victory Speech
SaviorPeterman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Chiefs slide continues we'll end up landing another good 1st round pick, probably around the middle of the 1st round if not much higher. Wouldn't have thought that after they started 5-0 but just goes to show how things play out in this league over the course of a 16 game season. I still believe in NP, but at least I admitted I was wrong last week (about him helping the team this year). Sad thing is though is TT supporters are thumping their chests again as if he had anything to do with the Bills winning today.
