Is anyone here really a Tyrod fan?
SaviorPeterman replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They certainly did and even the biggest NP supporters like myself have faulted him. But in hindsight it's not going to look that bad when the Chargers win out, win the AFCW and likely make noise in the playoffs. They are one of the most complete teams in the NFL and playing their best football when it matters heading down the stretch run. And I know some people want to believe we would have won with Taylor starting but I simply don't believe that to be the case especially after what the chargers did 5 days later on Thanksgiving to a much better QB in Dallas. -
I care because of sick and tired of this team being associated with so many dubious NFL records and obscure stats. Look it's not like Brady and the Pats are just dashing the Bills hopes and dreams they are doing this crap to just about everybody, but for a guy with 14 starts in Buffalo to have these type of numbers is mind boggling regardless of how many different QB's the Bills have seen come through here during the drought.

Tyrod asks for pro bowl votes, gets roasted
SaviorPeterman replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This was a bad move on Taylor's part. You don't ask fans to vote for you and the only reason he made the probowl before was because of multiple QB's dropping out. -
Not many, but it's basically 2 full home seasons worth of games. So off the top of my head...Bledsoe, Fitz, Edwards, Taylor are probably the only qualifiers.Losman might be close too. But when you consider the last 20 years total, Brady has only been starting since the 2001 season and he also missed 2008 so didn't play in Buffalo that year. So that's only 14 starts in Buffalo posting these numbers (not including the upcoming one on Sunday). Either way it's a very depressing statistic and points to what has been the main issue the last 17 years in Buffalo, not having a franchise QB.

Tyler Dunne: "Dennison Stays and Tyrod Goes"
SaviorPeterman replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Personally I hope both Dennison and Taylor are gone. But something tells me Dennison probably will get another shot next year since he can blame Taylor for the offense's failures. Really don't want him anywhere near NP or any future QB we draft though. -
How do we pull the impossible and beat the Pats?
SaviorPeterman replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not happening and Tomlin is going to regret the recent comments he made. Hoodie and Brady will send a very loud message when they play them. -
Tom Brady insane stat
SaviorPeterman replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is but not like the Jets or Dolphins, or the rest of the AFC/NFL in general has had tons of success against him other than the Coughlin/Eli Manning combination twice in SB. -
Reggie Ragland's play for the chiefs
SaviorPeterman replied to berg1029's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not that they didn't give him time, it's that they didn't believe he was going to work in this defense since he was a pure 3-4 LB at Alabama and why Rex drafted him for his defense. This is what happens when coaches and schemes are changed every 2-3 years. But then again pretty sure McD claimed the reason they did trade him was because Gerald Hodges outplayed him, who was then released right after the final cut downs. -
How do we pull the impossible and beat the Pats?
SaviorPeterman replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only chance we have is like the other few times we've upset them with Brady playing.....get at least 3 TO's and outscore them. But I don't see either of those happening for obvious reasons. -
Tom Brady insane stat
SaviorPeterman replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's just mind boggling how great Brady is in every facet of the game. And to be honest, compared to early in his career when the Pats won their first 3 Superbowls between 2001 - 2004, he's 10x better now and seems to be getting better each passing season regardless of age. -
My biggest concern with McD is whether or not he'll change his coaching style. Because even with better players/talent, I don't like his style of coaching and at the very least an OC change needs to be made because I don't want Dennison around Peterman or any other future QB we bring here. And yes even in Denver his offenses weren't great and Manning probably looked much worse than he was because of it even though age got the better of him unlike Brady right now.

Tre' White Got the Call from Deion
SaviorPeterman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree, but if Gaines is looking for a huge payday we obviously should pass given his injury history. Doubt other teams will be lining up for his services regardless and we still need additional DB depth even if we resign him to a reasonable deal. -
This team has many eerie similarities to Jauron's 2008 Bills team..... Both teams started 5-2 and were 5-5 before winning in a game in KC to snap a losing streak. Both teams had a QB that checks down and has misleading numbers that make outsiders believe he's a quality starter. Both teams had classic 'bend but don't break' defenses that would rely on TO's and holding teams to FG's to limit points. Both teams had horrendous offensive coordinators. At least with McD he has a chance to change all this but early returns aren't promising that's for sure.

Belichick doesn't allow team celebrations
SaviorPeterman replied to T-Bomb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some younger or more casual Bills fans probably don't realize our nightmares against Belichik began in the our first SB when he was Parcells DC with the Giants and came up with the perfect gameplan to stop the best offense in the NFL. I believe the Bills were at least 12 point favorites in that game and it should have never come down to the 'wide right' last minute field goal. Just goes to show that Hoodies has been toying with the Bills (and entire NFL) for almost 30 years now. -
While I'd love to be wrong, I think what happened yesterday was merely one bad team outlasting another bad team. Had that been a road game against a team like the Rams, Eagles or Pats we'd be sitting here talking about a fourth straight ugly loss. But hey, it was a win over a team that is currently over .500 and won 5 straight games to start the season. Just think context matters and right now the chiefs are among the worst teams in the league on both sides of the football since they have lost 5 of 6 games (the only win against a hapless Denver team).

This team simply can't catch a break. But at this point is there any real reason to not shut down Benjamin completely for the rest of the season? It's not like this team is going to the playoffs and it's time to start thinking about next year and beyond which Benjamin is obviously going to be a part of.

Rookies played really well against chiefs
SaviorPeterman replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While the play from this year's draft class has been encouraging, the true test is year two. Because it's not like we haven't seen promising rookies fall off a cliff or have their career completely derailed by injuries in year two in Buffalo. Let's also not forget that Beane had nothing to do with this years draft because he wasn't here. So it will be interesting to see what he does next year with his first draft and all the picks in his pocket to work with. -
Belichick doesn't allow team celebrations
SaviorPeterman replied to T-Bomb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady no doubt a big factor since he's the GOAT, but the Patriots are the model franchise for the NFL and pro sports in general for their meticulous attention to detail. Also why Hoodie is in a class by himself in terms of coaching. I know Bills fans hate to concede this but it's simply the reality whether you hate the pats or not.
