The first thing Josh always says when asked how he has improved so much is that he’s been in the same offence for three years now, and his relationship with coach Daboll and their understanding of each other now after 3 years together is huge. So if Daboll does get a head coaching position somewhere. How much will it affect Allen and who is out there for a replacement? (No idea how to spell Daboll sorry if incorrect)

Just think it’s not the end of the world if we don’t win the division. We would probably do better on the road vs a team like Miami then at home with our game plan

As much as we want a home game, with no crowd noise, and our refusal or ineptitude to run the ball. Would we be better off playing on the road in better weather in the playoffs where we can throw 80% of the time like Daboll wants? It just seems to me that we are just plain out not going to run the ball unless we are playing the Pats. And it will get tougher and tougher to pass so much at home the later the season gets.

The Pats especially seem weak against the run and very strong against the pass, we need to attack their weakness not their strength

Teams have been running it successfully against the Pats including San Fran today. I hope we don’t just throw the ball all day against their pass D, or it will be a long day for Josh. can Daboll actually design a successful run game?

You can’t pass the ball if you have 0 threat to run! This is going to be an ugly game, and an ugly year if someone doesn’t talk Daboll into rushing it at least 25 % of the time

Offence will have the ball maybe 15 min this game and with zero run game Josh trying to pass into blanket coverage a Loss is definitely possible

With 0 run game Josh is going to have a hard time the rest of the year passing into blanket coverage

At some point McD and crew have to switch from Titans to Chiefs. I think with so much time already alotted to getting ready for the Titans they should have the plan locked in, and maybe start looking towards the chiefs game? With the new positive test on Sunday I doubt the Titans game will be played and we need to start setting the game plan for the chiefs at some point. I mean we may play them Thursday if Tuesdays game gets cancelled

But if it’s a forfeit what would happen as far as MVP? Josh will have played one less game so less stats! Lol

I agree but there is so much talk about Josh being a mvp candidate so far, and I just think it’s unattainable without a new stadium. I hope I’m wrong

It is well known that even if it’s not snowing or terrible weather the wind plays a huge factor in Buffalo home games making it much harder to be accurate. Which is why they wanted Allen in the first place.

Once we start getting the high winds and snow he won’t be able to keep up these numbers, or keep up with QB’s that play in domes or in warmer weather. Like most years the weather in Buffalo will most likely be so bad that 200 yards passing will be a feat. I’m not saying he won’t be the best QB in those games but overall numbers will be what matters. And believe me I’m a huge Josh Allen fan. Just saying until we get a new stadium the second half of the seasons will be low pass yard games. Not that the MVP is what matters a Super Bowl is what we want. But there so much argument in the media about MVP and I just think it’s unattainable for Josh in our facilities.

Mahomes was put into an all star offence and hasn’t had to play on even a mediocre team yet. He was installed on a team where Alex Smith was considered for MVP the year before he took over. And has indeed been great but like I said Alex smith also looked great and MVP quality on it!

We have that speed guy we have our slot we need a big receiver that can go up and get the ball! Why is Zay out there? What does he bring to the table? I don’t see why our coaches are still putting Zay in there when Duke looked so good in pre season and still impressing on the practice squad. What do you think it will take to bring in the Duke?

I’d rather go after Minkah Fitzpatrick we need another shutdown DB to cover Edelman in the slot!

Would a second get it done and if so would any of you give up a second for the 11th overall pick last year who had a decent rookie year?

If he has started running in practice what is the timeline of his return? Maybe if Cinci wins this weekend they won’t rush him back in week 3. If they are 0-2 maybe they try putting him in against the bills to avoid a 0-3 start?

I hope this doesn’t happen that’s why I think if he plays well over next 3 to 7 games he needs to get an offer

He has looked good all preseason and looked good in yesterday’s game also. He is great run stuffing on first and second down with Murphy coming in on 3rd downs. I think we need to re-sign him (hopefully cheap) with Hughes getting older and Murphy being injury prone he may never live up to his 16th overall pick but I think he is definitely worth re-signing.

Would you take Beasley this week or Brown? I think Beasley will get a lot of check downs and targets but Brown could pay off big with some deep shots. Which is the better pick they are both cheap. Beasley is 3600 Brown is 4100
