  1. I am gonna bring up the Cam Newton incidences. The guy consistently gets pummeled and hit late inside of the pocket with no flag whatsoever. I personally don't like Cam Newton but, it is blatantly obvious that he is not as protected and the Golden Boy Tom Brady or even Aaron Rodgers. Yes he's a big Physical guy and has been known to take off and run but, why does that keep him from being protected. Suh punched Tyrod in the face and still haven't heard anything about it since whether it was on purpose or not shouldn't matter its a blow to the head. The low hanging fruit obviously is all the calls that seem to go against anyone playing the Patriots. I always thought my grandfather was crazy and we always laughed when he said it was fixed it's not a joke anymore though. Way too many games are being decided by the refs and instant replay has made it even easier for them to make game changing calls.
  2. Why would we move Tre White into the nickel corner position he's been a standout outside corner all year.
  3. I'd honestly wouldn't mind a QB that took chances and threw up a few 50/50 balls and occasionally got picked I could live with that. Most of Tyrod's deep balls this year seem to always be overthrown and out of bounds. He was in years past able to complete a few of those to Watkins, Goodwin and Harvin only a few to Thompson this year. I wanna see more of a vertical passing threat and better downfield accuracy. Intermediate passing has only come to exist since Benjamin and Matthews came. Yet Clay and Shady have been gobbling up passes all year. It's funny to see Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin feast with QB's that actually aren't afraid to throw the ball.
  4. Tyrod is and has been holding this team back since he became the starter. He is an option QB at best and has been the best option we have had but it's time for the Bills to run an offense he is not capable of. Throwing the ball down the field hitting guys in timing patterns on the run in front of them so they don't have to break stride and have a chance at YAC. I am so sick of seeing open receivers and the ball hitting them in the feet or a yard behind them. His accuracy seems to actually have gotten worse. So many missed opportunities this year and years passed. All of those stats show all of his many flaws as a passer there is no question of his athleticism and ability to make that wow play, but we need to QB to make more consistent plays that a decent qb makes.
  5. I feel like we just played the chargers at the wrong time. They were on fire for a few games in a row they played like the best in the AFC. Titans and Ravens are beatable but if they make it we don't. We would probably be slotted to play the Jaguars and that defense although Garoppolo beat them has been beast most of the year. They do have a suspect QB who hasn't been consistent all year Bortles was on a roll until the 49ers game.
  6. It is amazing that what was considered a rotational DT would have that much effect on a run defense. It has and it definitely cost us a game or two. The jets ran through us like butter. The Patriots without Burkhead torched us. It could very well be the reason we don't play in the playoffs this year.
  7. I wanna make the playoffs just to get that terrible streak out of our way. It is highly unlikely that we do, would take a team or two laying an egg. That being said if by some miracle we do make it we are not built for a run in the playoffs and we are a tier or two below most of the playoff teams. Chiefs we could beat that's about it.
  8. He's been to the playoffs twice. Once on him alone being the QB.
  9. I like the players we have picked up. They are all character guys. I'm obviously concerned that we are lacking in talent in some very important spots especially d-line at the moment. I'm figuring we fill those holes with the draft more than likely.
  10. I didn't want Peterman to start until the Colts game honestly. I did want to see what we had in him. I still am not convinced he's as bad as he played against the chargers. He played admirably in the Colts game anyways in terrible conditions. Do I think he is the answer long term not right now I don't. Am I completely done with him and want him to go away no I wanna see more. As we sit right now in the thick of the Playoff hunt we have to ride it out with TT and that's fine. When coach made the decision to start Peterman I was excited to see what he could do. I immediately realized he was put into a really tough situation and Tyrod should of started.
  11. It wasn't that long ago the fans were yearning for Jeff Tuel to start. In all honesty he dang near beat the chiefs except for that Int in the end zone.
  12. If we invested the money it will take to get Kirk Cousins at QB there is no way we go and get another QB in the first round. I can see 3rd round maybe even reach in the second round. You don't bring in a proven starter like that in his prime to teach a youngster to play the position. That's just silly.
  13. The Pats are not a rivalry team in the essence that it is not even close record wise. We've become a warm up game to them and even though we have had a few wins they are few and far between. The Dolphins in the late 80's early 90's was a rivalry and some of the best games to watch. The teams genuinely hated each other and I remember Brian Cox spitting at the fans like it was yesterday. But, if you look at the Dolphins record against us in the 90's we dominated them for the most part. I still feel like it was a rivalry against the Dolphins more than the Patriots. We are not feared anymore in New England. We still play against the dolphins and Jets tough. Be thankful that they realigned the conferences and we didn't have to endure the Manning years in Indianapolis as well. Having Brady and Manning in the same division would of been nuts.
  14. I would take Cousins in a heartbeat and anyone in Buffalo that wouldn't needs to get there heads checked. A proven QB that has shown what he can do with decent talent has won the division and still puts up decent numbers with a receiving core equally as banged up as ours. Our defense is an upgrade and our running game is better I think that would all he would need for us to be a 10 win team consistently in this league. I say bet the house on it and give us something to cheer for next year. Don't understand why Washington hasn't signed him to a long term deal yet.
  15. The defense getting interceptions has really for the most part been the most exciting part of our games.
  16. What do we have to lose this weekend. Tell Tyrod to let it rip and run like a maniac all over them. Get creative be spontaneous with the play calling. Our offense only has Shady right now making plays mostly because we don't get the wide receivers involved. Maybe Tyrod can draw up some of that QB he had near the end of the year last year. I know this is wishful thinking but, now is the time to let it all hang out and make that final push. I know the Patriots wouldn't be expecting a creatively called offensive game plan utilizing Tyrod's legs.
  17. Rosen to me looks and plays more like a true QB. Darnold needs time to be refined. Allen is such a wild card to me has all the measurables. Mayfield has proven to be a winner and a leader but lacks height. I want Rosen but, I can see any one of these being a good NFL qb. Lamar Jackson is another Tyrod clone and will probably be made a WR or RB in the NFL. Rudolph is definitely a decent second or third rd pickup.
  18. Brady has not looked the same during this Achilles injury, not as much zip on the ball. I also think we have a shot. We only gave up 23 points last time and our (awefense) was terrible. Their defense has been playing better as of late after being considered the worst in the league for most of the year. No Rex Burkhead. Why not we have as good a shot now as ever especially if Gaines plays.
  19. I say they give them the Soccer Goalie style helmets with the padding on it and less pads around. I've heard many reports that the weight of the gear and hardness of the outside of the helmets contributes to head injuries. Also people will be allot less likely to lower their heads like that.
  20. I personally am sick of seeing people bash Kizer. That team is a well known QB killer for years now and the guy seems like he's trying. He was just thrown into the fire and not given time to develop what did they expect. Trubisky has shown improvement in allot of ways just needs more weapons at WR and an upgrade at OL and I think he can be pretty good.
  21. Smith has put up better numbers for the most part this year and has shown he can throw it down field. They have incredible weapons in Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill. He likes to throw to the TE and the backs more than WR's allot like TT. He had to throw it more down the field since the brought in the rookie who will more than likely take his job at the end of the year. That being said he is a little bit of an upgrade over TT as a passer yet his athleticism is a little bit of a downgrade. He has shown he can be accurate at times as well as inaccurate in others and requires a ground game to run play action.
  22. If McDermott can work on his timeout calling and making adjustments add a little killer instinct it think we will be OK. That being said I was fully ready for the Bills to win 3 games all year and accept that they are not a good team and ready for a full rebuild next year. I am completely amazed at the fight and mental toughness this team has shown and I can only credit that to the coach. Allot of times this year the wheels could of and had completely fallen off, unlike years past they seemed to right the ship and get things back on track. The Jury is out still but it sure looks like we are headed in the right direction.
