  1. To put an article out that doesn't even include the Bills in it knowing they are trying to part ways with Tyrod and are definitely looking for a starting caliber QB is kind of silly. It would be ridiculous if the Bills don't make a play on either or FA or Draft.
  2. Ray Bentley and the Darby the Dinosaur Books I was a kid and of course had one. Also Thomas Smith. Because his jersey said T. Smith and I didn't know what the T stood for we called him Teriyaki because that's what we had for dinner. Wasn't like we could just google it at the time.
  3. The real question to ask a flat earther is why would they want us to believe it was round what benefit is that to them.
  4. Bradford is a perfect bridge you just play him until his knees fail then start the rookie. As long as he can get a few games into the season we would be just fine.
  5. Buffalo will have more appeal than in years past. We made the playoffs with a team from relative obscurity with chemistry and some decent coaching. The players that have played in Buffalo for the most part say it is the best place they have ever played because of the fans. Food wise Buffalo is near the top of the charts and it's a great summer destination close to Canada. Ironic i'm writing this from Sunny 80+ degree florida.
  6. The only time Taylor can be effective is if you give him half field reads and it only works until a good defense adjusts and if he all the sudden became accurate. Running options and mis-directions are his type of QBing and it only goes so far until a defense is ready for it you have to be able to spread the field and throw the ball around.
  7. Mccown is and always has been a journey man QB which means he has been behind some great QBs in the past. He has had some success in the past and has been in so long that I'm sure he could mentor a young QB on being pro and not just on the field play but preparation. Any rookie would love to have a guy sitting next to them helping and really investing in them instead of competing and trying to steal their job.
  8. I personally think all these QBs need to be put in a position to succeed by their teams. I have a hard time believing that none of the QBs drafted or playing for the Browns ever had potential. David Carr is my favorite example the guy had all the tools and was ruined by his teams lack of Oline. He never recovered and was an adequate backup the rest of his career. Derek Carr was put in a better situation and I believe will live up to what his older brother was supposed to be.
  9. I thought at times the line was doing their job quite well. It did take a few weeks to get the new blocking scheme down. Just saw a QB that was afraid to pull the trigger and he kept taking negative plays by getting sacked. I hate ragging on Tyrod but you have to see those open receivers down the field and make that throw as they are coming open.
  10. To think that any QB we trade up for this year will have the ability to come in and compete at a high level right away is few and far between. We saw Deshaun Watson come in a few games in and dominate. Wentz and Goff took a year before they started showing what they could do. This could be a rough year for Buffalo even if we trade up for a high pick. Rosen is probably the most pro ready QB and even he will have a learning curve.
  11. RB is not a major need while we have shady so I can't see spending a high pick on one until we fill our holes on both lines and at LB. That being said the backs that have complimented shady the best are the one cut and go Karlos Williams and Gillislee types. If we can find one in the 4th or 5th I would be thrilled.
  12. Glennon has shown over time whether he was with the Bucs or the Bears he has to have a clean pocket to be effective. This is something the Bills are not great at and he would simply be an immobile tackling dummy in the backfield. When given time to throw he can move the ball up and down the field unfortunately not many teams have that luxury.
  13. That last interception that Peterman threw against the Jags although questionable on whether it was actually caught was a direct result of a lack of arm strength. In college Peterman might have completed that pass in the pros the corners are inherently faster and smarter, I say Darnold makes that throw.
  14. I will say I think the ceiling is higher on Darnold than Peterman. The jury is still out on both. Darnold has a stronger arm. I'm not sure what Peterman had anything to do with this.
  15. In this draft many pundits agree every single QB prospect has flaws. There is not one squeaky clean prospect and some are more ready than others. Rosen is most pro ready but looks frail and has injury history. Darnold is a turnover machine with a ton of talent and athleticism. Allen has the most talent and athleticism but he is raw. Mayfield is small and throws out of the pocket. Lamar Jackson is a running type with a big arm and many say is very inaccurate. Rudolph has a great deep ball but comes from a system that inflates stats and doesn't have a great history of producing great starting QBs. If we plan on getting a QB via the draft I like Rosen personally unless we go Allen and get a bridge QB until he's ready. I think even Darnold needs time to develop which is why I wouldn't understand why him and Allen would go top 5. Mayfield scares me and so does Jackson, Mayfield because of his pocket presence and Jackson because he seems like a little taller version of Tyrod.
  16. I watched Darnold and I can see what people like about him with size athleticism and durability. Unfortunately he is a turnover machine and when they played UCLA Rosen made him his B#$ch. He definitely has potential, I don't think he is ready to start day one therefore I don't wanna mortgage the house on him.
  17. Jacksonville has some pretty rough areas probably some dead bodies under there. They have been covered a long time.
  18. His ceiling is Russell Wilson his floor is Johnny Manziel. Russell appears to be a little more athletic and was underrated coming out of college not a bad comparison. Height wise very similar to Wilson and makes allot of plays outside of the pocket like Wilson. Before the combine I don't like to pick draft spots always some guy that shoots up the board after because of how well he does (Deshaun Watson).
  19. From an outsiders perspective it looks bad. I can't say I haven't been in similar situations where I was throwing a party and under age people show up and when I would tell them to leave they would give me lip and then I forcibly throw them out of the party to avoid trouble. That is what it sounds like and if that's the case it is just a money grab by them and should be dismissed. Unfortunately it will still tarnish his name.
  20. If we sign Allen we definitely will need a decent Vet Bridge QB because he is raw.
  21. If they are more than 10-15 yards down the field he doesn't see them apparently. So he keeps his throws mostly inside of 10 yards where the defense drapes over our guys sitting in the tight zone windows because they do not fear our passing game. Hence this stat is completely worthless and proves nothing.
  22. What I think the Redskins are doing is that they realize they are many pieces away from the being competitive they unloaded wrs before this season and are trying to get more money to spend on free agents. So bringing in Alex Smith as a bridge and then they draft a guy. They will have more money to play with then if they signed Cousins long term. My question is how do they view Cousins statistically he puts up decent numbers and hasn't had a decent ground game for a few years. The defense is old and needs an overhaul. This gives them more money to plug gaps on both sides of the ball with only a little bit of a drop-off at QB. It is a huge gamble if they can't find another franchise QB because I think Cousins is a franchise QB that can be built around.
  23. We are a victim of our own success this year. We overachieved and now we are way down the draft boards in comparison to where we were projected at the beginning of the year. Statistically we were mediocre at best and low on the offensive side. It was an anomaly that we made the playoffs and we need to load up on talent to continue to grow. We will need to trade up if we want a QB this is our oppurtunity
  24. I've heard that Philly is high on Sudfeld and I would not be surprised if they trade Foles and ride it out with Sudfeld until Wentz is back healthy. The big question is do I want him in Buffalo and I am hesitant to go either way. He really looked the part for most of the playoff run and has had success in the past. Could be worth a shot especially if we are not trading up to get Rosen, Darnold, Allen or Mayfield. I see a large drop-off after those 4 and would not be satisfied with Lamar Jackson or Rudolph. Ideally I want Cousins.
