No way to really know this but if he slips to the the late teens i could see Beene making a move, he is a legit top 10 talent imo. Plenty of DT and End prospects to be had later i believe.

Yes i mean that one for a couple of reasons. Firstly he has plenty of tape in some really big games against the most elite talent where he looks like everything you would want in a CB 1. Won't lie not sure why rumors have him slipping, perhaps it what you have alluded to but my premise for Beane to jump is this, Beane is seeing the CB market being reset and i believe that they want Benford in the fold so to make the math work you gotta have an opposite that is cost controlled. Remember there was a WR last year in the same position who refused to test, these two had some really good battles that are worth watching imo👍

If a certain CB from Michigan falls past 18, you might want to perk your ears up Beane could make a move.

Yes as i stated i would prefer to give up what i had hoped to be a much higher 2nd rounder that is not the reality i know and so not worth going on about. I don't though believe he will garner the 30th pick straight up, small detail being what his contract demands are versus the value that a 5 year cost controlled gives the team who controls it. All this doesn't matter if the 30th pick is not a blue chip i concede, but it ain't so cut and dried as you make it out to be.

100% with you on DK but i think we draft defense this year just like the Rams did last year. I think if we hit we walk away with 3 impact players and a few chess pieces moving forward.
