NY Mets 2024 Season
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Another Fan's topic in Major League Baseball's Topics
What a season! Most lovable team in my lifetime for sure, granted I've never seen a championship, but I've never seen a team of ours have this much resilience and fight. Anyone else in California or going to California for any of the NLCS games? -
Who gets poached first Babich or Brady?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
Haha who gets to be McD's fall guy this time then? He's never going to make himself accountable. -
McDermott needs a end of game coordinator
HomeskillitMoorman replied to 86poker's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've never understood this as an argument to keep him. Who cares if someone else would hire him after we fire him? He's horrific at what he does, let someone else have him. -
Do you approve of the job Brandon Beane is doing?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to KentuckyBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane and McD will probably stay here because of what the standards are for Pegula and a good chunk of the fanbase - to just be good. Nothing more. The standard here is not a Superbowl. That's just reality. We've been stagnant for 4 years now. What has progressed? Nothing has gotten better. Since going to the AFC title game 4 years ago, we can't even get out of the Divisional Round and we don't look to be any better than that this year. We are wasting a generational talent at QB. But for so many, it's good enough. It's sad to see because with a solid level of competence at Head Coach and GM, we'd probably have a SB by now and/or be in a better position today. -
We should be doing the same with McD but we won't

It's never Rodgers' fault, just ask him

Not challenging Dalton sideline catch or Cook TD
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
McD has done this sooooo many times in his 8 years here. It’s hard to comprehend how dumb of a Head Coach he truly is and how little effort he puts into preparation -
In the end it doesn’t matter. He’s the head coach he can overrule any call. He’s either incompetent himself or hires incompetent coaches. I would say because we have consistently had horrendous game management during his time here…the problem is him. Not saying this is what you did, but so many people for years would hold McD blameless for our horrible playoff and end of game defenses and say it was just Frazier, as if McD was completely helpless to change anything or make a different call or fire him and hire someone else. The guy simply has no idea what he’s doing after 8 years on the job and many more as an assistant or coordinator. His time to go was many years ago now.

Mini rebuild. Why is anyone that surprised?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Blackbeard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Because this was still a winnable game if we didn't have far and away the worst Head Coach in football. -
Our Head Coach is a massive liability, has always been and will continue to be and that's the part so many are upset about. The players have the fight. They and the fans deserve someone better.

Postseason is ALL that matters
HomeskillitMoorman replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Except McD is a HORRENDOUS coach in the playoffs, and if those games are the ones that matter most....he's still a massive liability in those games. This guy's in year 8 as a Head Coachand doesn't know basic clock management and we're just supposed to just shrug and say "he's just learning!"? -
Belichick or McDermott. Who's the better coach?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
Forget Mahomes, he doesn’t know how to slow down Philip Rivers in a big game Yet you’re kneel-down apologist for McD who can’t get out of the Divisional round and whose side of the ball costs us huge in every big game. How does that work? -
9/29/2024 Bills at Ravens 2nd half game thread
HomeskillitMoorman replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
We are never going to win it all with McD here. I don’t know many deer in the headlights coaching and defense moments we have to see on the big stage before people will understand it. -
I really like what we've seen. The balanced offense is much better built for postseason football and to go up against top teams. Defensively I love the way some of the guys have stepped up.....but obviously in McD's regime the D has given it up big time in just about every big game in just about every postseason. If his side of the ball can come through for once when it matters most...we really do have a solid shot at winning it all.

Nah they're from bull#### schools like Clemson and Tulane!

The defense has definitely been better than I thought it was going to be and this kid filled in what looked to be a huge hole. Good for him!

Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes: The changing of the guard?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
If it wasn't for McDermott, Josh would have at least 1 Super Bowl if we're being real. But I do think Josh is every bit as good as Mahomes. He has to beat him though in January. -
I've been in Houston for work for months but dying to get back up to some real fall weather. Def my favorite season! Houston's a cool city but I don't know how people live here year around. I guess they say the same for us and cold weather.

Why not trade for a dependable kicker?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Kingston Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
He probably called AJ Klein right after he said that just out of habit -
I mean it hasn't even really been a roller coaster, he's pretty much been non-existent here most of the time
-
Oh boy: Bills worked out 2 Kickers
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
It is, and unfortunately very few kickers come back strong after a huge postseason miss like he had. -
But now I miss the anxiety

Josh 4 straight games no int’s.
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is true. I am afraid that in our next game vs the Jags it'll be a tie game late in the 4th quarter and he'll have a wide open read underneath for a 1st down....but he'll remember this thread that was made during that play and throw it deep into double coverage instead.
