  1. A good coach would’ve ran one more quick play with 5 secs left
  2. Is it a specific strategy we have to not set the edge?
  3. That’s what he should do…lets see if he actually will
  4. 2 really nice drives in a row mixing in the run with quick plays getting the ball out early…who knew!
  5. Only we could hold and still lose like 5 yards
  6. We need to put up points, the Panthers are going to go for it a ton today
  7. This team was so much more fun to watch last year
  8. McDermott is the HEAD coach. He’s ultimately responsible for all facets of the team. Not only did he choose by his own volition the coaches you believe are the problem, but he has the authority to change anything he wants. The issues of the offense, no matter what avenue you want to take to get there, is his responsibility.
  9. Not really a big deal I guess, neither Rousseau or Etienne are contributing anything to their teams.
  10. This is the truth. We will never win big with McD here. Some people here just don’t want to face that reality.
  11. Outcoached completely. We will never win anything with McD
  12. McD is not a top coach, this is embarrassing
  13. I’m not sure, hopefully. I do agree that somethings just been off this year. I remember having more confidence last year in us driving down the field in big moments throughout the game. Body language with the team too has been different at times, like in the Steelers and Jags games. Maybe I’m remembering wrong but even in our losses I don’t really remember seeing that stuff last year.
  14. I’ve actually been wondering this too. It’s really been a problem during the whole McD era. I have zero confidence on big downs and inches or 1 that we’ll get any kind of push up the middle.
  15. I like the way Stevenson runs but yikes that balls out there for the taking
  16. That timeout was so dumb. Just take the 5 yarder.
  17. That was a huge drive, needed that after the way the 2nd quarter went down
  18. Josh’s ball holding is starting to reach Rob Johnson levels. Throw the ball.
  19. Absolutely brutal pick. Could have delivered a huge blow with a score and the ball first in the 2nd half. This just isn’t a very good team unfortunately.
  20. What about the accountability for McD for his own work? It’s been horrific this season so far.
  21. I would allow it. It’s a baller word.
  22. This guys only 30? It feels like he’s been around forever.
  23. I’m somewhere in the middle here. I think picking up the option was absolutely the right call, but I agree he’s kind of a disappointment overall and not the player I had hoped he was going to be. I wouldn’t bring him back on a long term deal but for basically 1 year and taking the chance he could make a leap this season, I was down for that.
  24. I’m not worried about Josh’s performance the first two games as much as I haven’t liked his body language when things haven’t gone right. When Josh was progressing, I liked seeing when he’d make plays late after he didn’t have a great overall game to that point. It felt like he thought the game was over during the 4th quarter against the Steelers that’s what’s probably bugged me the most so far. Someone in another thread had a great line the other day about how for probably the first time, Josh is one of the hunted instead of one of the hunters. Maybe that has something to do with what we saw from him…but I hope it’s just something he just has to get used to because I don’t want to get used to seeing that look from him.
