Kansas City roll call, who’s going?
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Chicharito's topic in The Stadium Wall
My first time in KC, just wondering if anyone has any tips on where to stay, where the Bills parties will be, any of that good stuff. I did see Taps on Main and Al's Bar & Grill as two potential spots but just wondering if anyone who's been there has any opinions. Thanks! -
Tua and Hurts will never get to the promised land

Hurts should be a backup on a good team. Disagree with the Mayfield stuff above though, I think he's mediocre at best. -
KC win puts Bills in better spot

It's kind of a non-starter debate anyway. The Steelers offense is awful, I don't think there's any shot whatsoever they knock off the Chiefs. -
Yikes on Ticketmaster it does look like a ton of tickets are available. Not good.

Is there a possibility we don’t sell out? That would be so embarrassing.

Wow if I still lived in Buffalo I'd be all over that! It's the playoffs, vs the Pats! When did our fans get so weak? All the complaining about wanting a dome and now we may not sell out a home playoff game?

My case for Trubisky to the Colts
HomeskillitMoorman replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Daboll/Trubisky pairing thing here is so strange to me. Trubisky is not a good QB. Maybe a half-decent backup, we don’t really know, but why would anyone want to go with him as a starter as a new head coach of a team? -
I find it interesting that it seems to trigger you so much that not everyone is a fan of his. What's wrong with people sharing their opinions of him? Everyone here wants the same thing, for the Bills to be as good as possible. I'd say the same if someone had posted things like "F everyone who wants to see him stay" after the AFC title game last year when he kicked on multiple 4th and shorts. Nobody's stopping you from enjoying this team and he's probably going to be the coach for a while here. Many of us are just hoping he improves in the in-game aspects of the job.

Really well put. I remember that snow game, he was the head coach of the team and didn't know a tie would have knocked us out of the playoffs. So hard to fathom. But yeah the timeout usage and game management have been issues for all 5 years here. I agree he's a good teacher of the game and has the organizational skills. The game in NE was one of the first games we've seen where he was aggressive against a top team. The way he shrank in the spotlight last year in the AFC title game was tough to watch. Hopefully he won't again this year.

Not sure I want the Pats again. It felt like we dominated them in that NE game but we really still needed a couple big plays at the end to work out. They have better coaching and that's scary in the playoffs.

Can't burn timeouts like this in the 2nd half vs good teams in the playoffs. It just can't happen. -

That's also a strange thing, the dude can play, why do we just forget about him for long periods of time? -

Well if we're looking for a bright side...the offense went into the playoffs with a lot of momentum last year and didn't really look great once we got there. Maybe it'll be the opposite this year? -

I would disagree about the criticism, I think he struggles a lot with those decisions. The timeout management though is a problem almost every single week, and it's been going on for years. It's cost us big at times too in close games. -

That was a brutal first half from McD. I think he's a good teacher of the game but with the decision-making on 4th downs and another week of brutal timeout usage...I have no idea how anyone can make the argument that he's a good in-game manager. -

Oh I agree, I didn't mean we would have won the game if not for the way he managed the game, but I think he cost us a better opportunity with those kicks on multiple 4th and shorts. He coached scared. -

McD's gonna cost us again coaching like this, just like in the AFC title game last year -

Haack to replace Bojo was a total blunder by McBeane -
Did you really just say that??? That “one mistake” could have ruined that woman’s life for all we know. Do you have any idea how traumatic rape can be? Sometimes people just astound me.
