  1. That turnover was HUGE! And punching it in! Let’s gooo!!!
  2. I don’t see how people think we can win the chip with McD here. I really don’t.
  3. How is nobody blocking that defender on a 4 man rush, my God
  4. So glad McD went right to work on watching video last Sunday
  5. I'm pretty sure a lot of these coordinators have been preparing for head coach interviews all season long and last offseason and probably even before that. This isn't nearly as big of a deal as people make it out to be every year.
  6. Except he's choked it away even when everything did come together for him, like the 13 seconds game. Your coach's side of the ball and game management shouldn't be an anchor for your team to overcome to make it to the promised land, it should be a positive. It hasn't been for us. Even the Perfect Storm wasn't good enough for him.
  7. You are literally the one trying to keep everything in the little box by what you're saying. Your implication here is that there is no standard for how far this team goes to judge anyone by. What if we're 6 more years in and have 10 straight Divisional Round exits? That doesn't matter because we're "killing it" in the regular season? There's context to everything. McD's side of the ball and his game management has been awful on the biggest stages repeatedly. The goal whether you like it or not is to win championships. But that also doesn't mean it's "all or nothing"....the expectation and standard has never been that we win a Super Bowl every single year. But if the same things keep happening over and over and we have a coach who keeps showing he can't get this team over the hump...then yeah it's time to move forward with someone who possibly can. The 20 years of suck does not play into what's happening and where we are right now. And this whole thing about people saying this is a "transition year" or as you said that McBeane had to work through a tough roster position...who do you think put themselves in that tough position with some of the decisions that were made the last few years? And there are no transition or rebuild years with a generational QB, you're always in the mix if you have one. There is a middle ground...the extremes would be the people that expect a championship every year and then your side that thinks there should be no expectations whatsoever.
  8. I don't think most people care about the Jags or Texans games...even though McD was awful in those games. We don't have to talk about those. Losing this game would still put us at 4 straight Divisional exits with a generational QB, the best we've ever had, and at worst a top 3 player in the NFL. That's a huge disappointment. I don't know what your point is with "basically it's the Chiefs". Is the expectation for McD to not get over that hump? Josh gave it to him on a silver platter in the 13 seconds game and he still choked it away. If your gold standard is the Divisional Round or to just get to the Chiefs and lose....that's probably the real dividing line here between the people that would want McD to stay vs people who want for the Bills to hold a higher standard with an all-time QB.
  9. But if we lose again and it's 4 straight Divisional exits....what continuous improvement is he showing?
  10. This…so much this. Reid is a positive force for his side of the ball, especially in the playoffs while McD has been totally detrimental with his.
  11. The mental gymnastics that are needed to define what could be 4 straight Divisional exits for a coach with Josh Allen as your QB as an undeniable success that you're being gaslit as an "idiot" if you disagree with is kind of impressive. Keeping it simple...4 straight years of only reaching the Divisional Round with a generational QB that might be the best player in all of football would be almost objectively a massive failure.
  12. 4 straight Divisional losses with a generational QB would deserve quite a bit of piling on. But I'll say we take it 27-23 with Josh wearing the cape and controlling TOP
  13. The one comparison is I don't really expect much of an adjustment to be made defensively unfortunately. I think Josh will have to wear the cape but don't think he'll have a game like the Bengals one that's really his only postseason clunker.
  14. I think we'll see in this next test if he's gotten any better. I personally don't think he has, he hasn't improved at all as a game manager and is tight with making decisions late in games as we saw against teams like the Rams and Texans where he had no idea what to do. If we have a 4th straight Divisional exit with our generational QB...I'm not sure what the argument is that he's gotten better when we'll have literally just been stagnant for the last 4 years and peaked in 2020.
  15. The players also loved Dick Jauron
  16. Josh is probably going to have to wear the cape in this one
  17. It's not really satirical though because he's obviously using this sarcasm as a basis to defend McD's overall body of work in the postseason...which is objectively not very pretty That narrative is 100% true. Let me ask you this...do you think McD's side of the ball and game management in the postseason overall has been a strength for this team? I would disagree with the bolded part about Josh in "prior seasons". He's largely been fantastic in the playoffs, the Cincy game really being the only total clunker. Coaching and defense have been the biggest reasons why we haven't had success in January. I mean if you didn't see calm and poise in the 13 seconds game I'm not sure what to tell you.
  18. Yeah I would probably buy that as a roster we're more balanced and built for this...but our biggest problem still remains. It's possible it can be overcome but it's obviously still there.
  19. You know we’ll get the 1 seed the very first year they do that too
  20. For a coach whose defense has been horrific in every single big postseason game against any good QB and who literally blew the 13 seconds game himself and can't get out of the Divisional Round with a top 3 player in the NFL...beating Bo Nix is the flex? OK.
  21. Not sure how smart it is to keep Allen in and let him take more punishment with the game being over
  22. Wow that's actually a competent interview
  23. I remember Fat Freddie at Mama
  24. California and Florida have some similar issues where people are having a hard time getting their homes insured because they're in these fire and hurricane territories. That's gotta be really scary too.
  25. I mean this would be hilarious if he backed out and went to Vegas instead
