  1. I think we’ve found something offensively. But we still have McD. Chiefs 31 Bills 27
  2. That was bad even for an inexperienced head coach though. He’s always been incredibly unprepared.
  3. To be fair, Beane never condemned Araiza or anything like that, I believe he even implied that he believed him.
  4. Haha, no. Ben Johnson please.
  5. I think this makes what McDermott has done this year even worse though. We've had these positives and are STILL going to miss the playoffs with an elite QB. The Gabe part though is not a credit to the Bills. We've known this for a long time now. Being late to the party is not a positive for Beane.
  6. So what is it that McD excels at? He’s a horrific game manager, the team is completely undisciplined, his D gives it up on every big drive, he has trouble hiring good coordinators…I really don’t understand why people still want him here. Truth is, his QB has been bailing him out for years. He’s a bottom of the barrel coach on his own.
  7. Hoping to just have a non-partisan discussion just about this topic without the toxic Left-Right finger-pointing that dominates most of the threads here, if that's possible. The extremes on this topic are both equally positions that I don't like at all and find dangerous. - I do think a child should not be able to get a gender-transitioning surgery without parental consent. I know some people feel that they shouldn't be able to even with parental consent but I don't really want to get into that part here, I'm talking more about the philosophy of parental rights. I also know that's not a perfect solution as I can't really imagine what it would be like to have gender dysphoria and being told to wait until you're an adult - probably much easier said than done. And some kids have bad parents who would have a lot of issues with their children if they knew they wanted to do that. But ultimately I just have to come back to some of those surgeries being something you can't really go back from, or it's very difficult and there's a good chunk of those children, certainly not all of them, that grow up and don't have those feelings or dysphoria anymore. - The other side of the extreme spectrum is those who are advocating that a counselor or therapist has to notify the parents if their child is telling them about any of these feelings or issues they might be having even if they are not getting any kind of medication or surgical procedure done. To me, this can be just as dangerous. This is stripping away access to help and support that young children might not otherwise seek out if they know their parents are going to be looped in. I can't imagine if I had something like gender dysphoria or those feelings, it would probably be beyond humiliating to have my parents find out about it and that they'll always know. In some cases it's much worse. I grew up in Foster care and if I ever had anything like that or in my case if I was even just gay and told a counselor about it who told my foster parents, I know for 100% fact that at least 2 of my foster "dads" would have beat the absolute crap out of me. If I had to deal with any of those things, I would have had to just hold it in instead of seeking help if the laws said the parents had to be notified. And things like that can lead to teen suicides and all kinds of damage. There is no solution that's perfect here...but I think it's gotta be somewhere in the middle where children aren't able to get these surgeries but that they also have access to help and the confidence of privacy for it. I don't believe that parental rights should cross that line.
  8. Haha that’s where I am. Two guys that aren’t actual Presidential candidates that are unlikeable and can be bought.
  9. If this comes true, I wouldn’t blame Allen and Diggs or anyone else if they ask to be traded. It’s a completely hopeless situation here if McD is back.
  10. All of our other colossal meltdowns don’t matter? Accountable? By firing McD? I believe we are.
  11. That sounds better. Obviously #1 I hope he didn’t do it. But if he did, we gotta get out of that deal.
  12. That’s just devastating. He would still stick against the cap if he’s suspended or we released him because of this?
  13. Way too many pages to go through. Can we get out of his contract?
  14. The team is good enough…the head coach is not. He will cost us at least 1 more in these next 5.
  15. I'm sure he wants to so he can scapegoat someone else when the defense gives it up when it matters most. He got away with it for years when people would just go off on Frazier and gave McD absolutely no accountability for it. He probably misses it.
  16. That was so embarrassing. Drew was so bad in that game.
  17. It's been a problem for years, people have just been blind to it because the QB was bailing him out. He hasn't put in the slightest bit of work to improve himself as a Head Coach for over 7 years, no reason to think it's immediately going to happen for year 8. It's time to cut the cord, it's long overdue.
  18. Not if McD can help it Refreshing to hear. If it was McD, we might've heard that he didn't get what he wanted but someone else forgot to relay the message.
  19. Are you happy he chose to kneel with 20 seconds left in regulation with an elite QB rather than try to win the game? Or that he burned an extra timeout to let the Eagles regroup and take their time to take the 58 yard field goal to tie it and take us down to 1 time out? Or that we went to a completely soft prevent zone to let them easily catch any short pass they wanted with more than enough time on the clock to drive right down the field without resistance or doing it again in OT? Do we also need to go back to his entire history of late game postseason gaffes or even just the games from this year? Look at some of the teams that are in line to make the playoffs who have a QB nowhere close to Josh. This is embarrassing that all McD's been able to do with this team is go .500 and needing a miracle to make the playoffs now.
  20. He’s had Allen to bail him out for a long time. This year he’s finally just been fully exposed. He’s no different than Jauron.
  21. This. There was plenty of time for McD to blow it whether it was a FG or TD that was needed.
  22. By doing better the year after. We’ve been in decline for 3 years now. Do you think we’re getting better?
  23. The FG in this game was the right call, but I do agree with you that McD's game management issues have been there since the beginning and he hasn't worked on improving himself as a head coach at all in these 7 years. That tells you a lot about him. What he did in that Colts game was an egregious mistake and he's the same exact guy today that he was then. And it's killing us.
  24. This would be the smart thing to do. But I wouldn't want McScapegoat even as a positional coach. I don't really even want him living in Buffalo anymore.
