  1. 🤔🤔 And Dan Quinn is the coach there now...who was Stef's brothers DC in Dallas. Interesting dot connection there.
  2. Seems like the kind of kid we would draft and would end up poached off the PS by another team.
  3. I just want them to go back to those COVID year remote drafts. Some of the best unintentional comedy the NFL has ever produced.
  4. It's like watching 2 created teams in Madden play. Just nothing to grab my attention and pull me in. Lower skilled players and coaching staffs. Hard to gain any rooting interest. And the whole thing is headed by Dwayne Johnson who may just be the most oversaturated and over exposed celebrity in America. I'll be tuned in all weekend.
  5. Coaches could have coaches better. Players could have stepped up and played better. And for all the "defensive leadership" and experience on that D....not one of them had the forethought to put any input into the call, audible when they saw what was happening change up anything either. It was a complete failure on the coaching staff from McDermott down and a complete failure on the players involved.
  6. It's a problem backfield to play against...for now. Mosert is already 31 and though lightly used early in his career will start to hit a wall soon. Achane is EXPLOSIVE for sure...but I have serious doubts he will ever be more that a 8-10 touch a game guy without missing time due to injury. He's not built for it.
  7. And Diggs has yet to jump on and defend Damar? CLEARLY this signals Diggs wants out of Buffalo. Film at 11.
  8. Seems like they are working backwards. See who they like later and would be content in selecting at that point and leave the higher picks open to what they take. I think normally they have early rounders in later in the process as well.
  9. Walker: -22 years old -6'1" 193lbs -9 1/8 in hand measurement - 4.36 40 yard dash NFL Comparison: Alec Pierce https://www.nfl.com/prospects/devontez-walker/32005741-4c12-5280-b9cc-679bea874bd8
  10. Something else to consider. With the way this return is set up it makes it more of an offensive play than a special teams return. You may see some guys pulling to set up lanes, combo blocks. Things of that nature that weren't part of the return aspect before. I think it would be smart for teams to have some collaboration between the ST coaches and the OC on play design. Likewise, on the KO coverage units having the DC weigh in may be smart.
  11. Very well detailed and great work as always, Gunner. I look forward bto this every year. I still don't see Nix as the Broncos pick at 12. Though I do feel he fits the system well. I have him as that QB we see every year that gets mocked really high and still see him there round 2. Your detail in the Raiders and Saints picks lend justification as to why even though both of them need a QB, they are likely to go another route themselves. I don't think Nix is the QB the Raiders are looking at, either. My gut tells me Penix is their guy in round 2. I think the Broncos are primed for a trade back if one presents itself. If Denver passes on Nix and loses out on him, perhaps they pivot to Rattler.
  12. In addition we do have Andy Isabella, Ty Johnson and Darrynton Evans signed. KJ Hamler could get a peek there as well IMO. Just my hunch but with the way the new return set up looks I think a good returner will shift from straight line speed to more of a guy that can operate in small spaces. Less Harty types more Braxton Berrios types. Steelers signing Cordarrelle Patterson minutes after the rule was passed may be an indication of what they expect. Could we take a later pick on an extra end of roster guy with that in mind? Absolutely. Heck, I think it may bump the value in someone like Luke McCaffrey.
  13. I believe each team can only designate two players as June 1st cuts each year. I know that's what it was last year, not sure if there was a change to that. In that event I would see Miller and Diggs as potential guys for it next year.
  14. Weight isn't everything. Jordan Phillips was over 330lbs and got pushed in the run game a lot. If he's 295lbs and can still absorb the blocks so be it.
  15. I would agree less likely unless someone unexpected drops to them. Maybe Sweat at 60 would be good value? I do expect another guy drafted at some point though. Day 3 type.
  16. I have a hunch that after today anyone wanting Dobbins may need to look elsewhere. This fit with Roman being there makes a lot of sense. They have already inked Gus Edwards and look to add.
  17. Yes, in some ways when the discussion of center pops up it reminds me of the MLB debate from last year. The fans had convinced themselves that Beane was bluffing and we would be taking a LB early. Then it never materialized and it turned out the team was pretty set in their mind at the spot Same with Center this year. Trade Bates. Cut Morse. So obviously there's a hole there. But again, I really feel like this was the plan dating back to last year. Bringing in McGovern and Edwards and then getting Edwards snaps as the OL6 guy. I could see them taking a G/C type in later rounds....but I really believe they believe in the OL the way they have it presented. Of course, it also wouldn't shock me if we brought in Brian Allen from the Rams either. Just 28 and played under Kromer. Seems like if center is a question still...that may be where they look.
  18. I think what we have seen with Fields is what we would have seen from Lamar Jackson had the Ravens not brought in Greg Roman and designed an offense around his strengths. The Bears more or less plunked Fields in their offense and even made waves saying they wanted him to play more from the pocket. That's insane with a guy that has Fields skillset. The 2 biggest problems I have with Fields game is that he fumbles way too much and that he still looks like the same passer he was coming out of college. He hasn't really developed yet as a passer. Now, if that's on him or coaching failing to get him to the next steps...I have no idea. But I have suspicion the staff in Chicago was ill equipped to elevate his game. Can Arthur Smith be the one to get the most out of him as a passer? He did have Ryan Tannehill looking serviceable for some time in Tennessee.
  19. I actually like Fields. He's entertaining to watch. He's fantastic for fantasy football. However, real world football...he just doesn't have what it takes to win at the NFL level IMO. Wilson is what he is at this point in his career. I'd compare him to a glorified Tyrod Taylor. He'll be safe with the ball, he's going to make a play here and there but he's not carrying the team to a win. However with their defense and running game they can still make some noise and hopefully take a few games away from Cincinnati, Cleveland and Baltimore.
  20. And that's also playing into why we have been signing quite a few former Washington Commanders over the years. Just this year we grab Toohill and Samuel. Signed Crowder and went after that RB that changed his mind and went back to Washington. Kyle Allen played for both Washington and Carolina. It's a fairly common practice around the league. Heck look at all the former Bills brought in by Daboll for the NYG.
  21. I almost feel like Roman Wilson is a potential Bills draft pick as he's one guy I see almost no one talk about.
  22. If he's still unemployed come June 2nd I wouldn't be shocked to see Beane target Ogbah. The Bills were in on him just 2 years ago before we signed with Miami. And Beane loves to circle back on guys they missed out on prior.
  23. Lots of "my guys" are already mentioned to include the WRs and T'Vondre Sweat. But now here's a guy.... Would like to take a late round pick and see if we can turn Milton into a long term cheap backup plan.
  24. I hear the Jags are trying to book P. Diddy for the National Anthem for opening day.
