Well, got a depth WR so far. I think the Bills have several close to or at vet minimum deals sent out. Players/agents will wait to see if anything else comes up before 4. Later today I see a few value signings. Maybe Jordan Whitehead at Safety. CEH for a RB. Perhaps even a cheap EDGE guy. Nothing big or splashy.

Not the "Mack" most Bills fans hoped to aquire today. But not a bad signing. Vet that wouldn't likely cut into a rookie WRs snap count. Can do the dirty work (a Sherfield/Kumrow hybrid). I am ok with this. Shouldn't cost much.

Discount? I doubt that. One thing about Poyer is he doesn't leave money on the table. This is backup money for a fading vet with a looooong history of injuries. At that rate it's not even a guarantee he makes the final roster.

Glad he found a job. And in a year Beane has touted finding more explosive players....glad Miami's secondary just got a whole lot slower.
-
Meh. Ok signing, but didn't think LBer was a pressing "1st signing in FA" type need. Hopefully, this is just depth and not a reflection of where Milano is physically.
-
I'll say this. If Beane had wanted to keep Davis as much as he was saying last year he would have found $13M AAV. That's a lot...but not a crippling amount. They were ready to upgrade the position.

Good. Let Mahomes get his nuts grabbed twice a year for a change...

So, we can sign any FA out there and we're spending the early hours of FA on extensions and bringing back our own guys. Tells me we are NOT looking to be aggressive in the least. To the draft ..

Mitch Morse and now Gabe Davis. I sense a trend in Jacksonville...

Yes, key word there is "reworked". If it's a pay cut like Von took, Id be happy about that. Let's see how much this saves...but solid move to make

Oh, I'm sure they would if someone stepped up with an offer that was magnificent. Outside of a franchise QB, almost every player is available at the right compensation. For them, it would make sense to keep him as he's proven that in that offense with what they have around him he can succeed and keep their offense strong. Less of a gamble of production loss rather than rolling with a rookie...and they need a strong offense as their defense has lost a ton of good pieces over the last 2 years.

This most likely IMO ends up with a Higgins extension in Cincinnati. We've seen this before from other players. Also, there is no way the Bengals would be willing to move him to Buffalo and make use potentially better without a SEVERE over pay in draft capital. Keep the picks and take a cost controlled WR in a draft class filled with potential studs

Good dude. Wish him well. Hope he stays healthy.

49ers planning to release DL Arik Armstead

I suspect the Texans would have interest. Ryans loved this guy while in SF. -
Levi Wallace available in free agency?
BuffaloBillyG replied to Taro Nimbus's topic in The Stadium Wall
Levi was really decent for us. But that was a few years ago. Rather stay younger. Dane Jackson coming back would be about the main "vet depth" move I expect. -
Russ signs 1yr $1.2M deal with Pittsburgh

I think if Tomlin could manage a locker room with Antonio Brown and Lev Bell in it, he should be able to handle Carlton Banks Jr.
