Head Coaching Vacancies - 2024/2025 Edition
BuffaloBillyG replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall
And yet you have multiple owners that read way too much of the opinions on social media and form decisions based off that. Not a lot, but some of the poorly run franchises....which checks out why they are run so poorly. The Dolphin ownership is and always has been a franchise that monitors the public opinion and reacts accordingly. -
I can't think of a coach and team that deserve each other more.

Head Coaching Vacancies - 2024/2025 Edition

Curry is thought of in many circles as a future OC. That wouldn't shock me actually. And remember, Brady wasn't technically a "Daboll guy". But he was on the coaching roster being brought in from the outside to learn the Bills Way. Similar to how Curry was brought in. -

You haven't figured out what happens in the off chance Brady get a HC job? We "interview" 2 minority candidates to meet the Rooney Rule...then promote from within. Detroit's turnaround makes me laugh at the Dolphins more than anyone. The had Campbell in house as their interim HC and pushed him out to hire Flores (I believe). That didn't work out well Depends on how hard KS may have been pushing for the Watson trade behind the scenes. Remember, they had Baker and Baker had shown well in the system. And let's face it, at some point when a team underachievers there has to be a sacrifice made to the roar of the fans. An owner isn't going to fire himself, so the HC is next to go. It's why I still think Mike McDaniel isn't fully safe in Miami even though they just signed him to a new deal. If Miami crashes from here on our his seat may be boiling hot. -

The Bengals are modern day fools gold IMO. They always had an explosive offense because of the weapons they have. That's what makes the highlights and people believe they are a good "team" But their defense is devoid of talent aside from one or two guys. They have no depth. Burrow and Chase are playing out of their mind but they can't stop a nose bleed. Their DC was a HOT Head Coach candidate a couple years ago, and slowly as they have lost players because they won't pay them...the D has got worse and his start has faded. -
What did you think of that golf clap by Kelce?

I think a good group of people just spend their day looking for something to be upset about. -
Why is McD not being talked about as coach of the year?

My prediction is the winner of the Lions Bills game ends up with the CoY -
What a nice issue to have. You have the younger player that hasn't been perfect...but has been really good. Far better than he was last year. Then a former All Pro coming back. If I'm the Bills, I don't feel the need to rush Milano back. And when he is back...ease him in. Low snap counts and situation specific. The the kid handle the bulk of the work and slowly ramp Milano up for January.

Guy said when he was hired his top priority was fixing the OL. He never did. Gave up way too many picks and way too much money on "big name guys"

What Would You Give Up for Aubrey?
BuffaloBillyG replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
He seems to be what Justin Tucker was before this year. And I've seen a LOT of Baltimore wins happen because of Tucker. I'd go as high as a 3rd straight up. An offer Id assume Dallas would laugh at and hang up the phone. -

Agree. And I am a McDermott supporter. However, if the season were to end for the third straight year at home in the playoffs...I may be persuaded. -
I'm glad for Gabe that he was able to get paid but also glad it wasn't the Bills that paid it.

They have to. His portion of salary guaranteed for injury makes him playing a liability for next season. He's done in New Jersey.

Despite the INT, making that play in that spot against that defense on 4 & 2 should vault Allen back to the MVP lead. -

Patriots Waiving WR Tyquan Thornton

They signed lottery tickets to low contract offers in the WR market. None paid off. They didn't burn a 2nd round pick on any of them. Huge difference. -

The Raiders moves on from him in his 4th season. That's quickly? No, that's getting valuable picks back for a guy they weren't able to afford to sign.
