  1. FACTS: Bass missed FGs Josh threw a bad INT Cook dropped a possible TD Davis and Allen had the miscommunication Refs were ATROCIOUS. ALSO FACT: Even after all that, Josh Allen and the offense left the field TWICE in the final 2 minutes and OT with the lead. And our DEFENSIVE minded HC could not scheme up a stop. This was like a low budget sequel to 13 Seconds. Call it "20 Seconds: Electric Boogaloo".
  2. I wasn't saying he has, and yes I'm basing what he may do off what he's showed his tendency is in the past. Who knows, he may surprise me if it came to that. You're correct though, he's never had the opportunity and we won't know for sure until he does.
  3. 10 pages in and I'm not reading all 10, so apologies if this has been said. Beane is not a bad GM. He's had some picks hit and had some miss. Free agency has been a mixed bag. He's league average IMO and you could easily do a whole lot worse. I do think he rolls the dice to find value on a player that he "thinks" may pan out (like Harty) over a guy that is established and more plug and play way too often. I also think he (and his staff) are better evaluating talent on player than finding player who fit. In that sense he's correct on the player but incorrect on their usefulness to us. Right now Elam may be a shining example of that. I'm also TERRIFIED of him having an opportunity to pick the next head coach (if it comes to that. One almost constant with Beane is his belief on going with what he knows rather than someone he's unfamiliar with. Could see that a TON in his player acquisitions from Carolina early in his tenure (which is common)...but he continues to do it. Examples are brining in the corpse of Beasley and Brown last year and Josh "107 year old" Norman this year. While I'm sure he would interview a bunch of people I have to believe based on his past, 2 guys that would absolutely get an interview would be Ron Rivera and, yes Leslie Frazier. He knows them, he's comfortable with them. And I think if he tried he could sell Pegula on the idea of Ron being a coach that has made a Super Bowl or Frazier already being familiar with the players. I like Brandon Beane, I just don't trust him enough in this spot to make a sound choice.
  4. Yes, he's obligated to show up. He's not obligated to sit for as long as he does and offer answers. Case in point, ever see a Bill Belichick presser?😂 Also, I can't think of once where Sean has cut off a presser and stormed out or done anything but sit and face the questions asked. Sometimes you do get a "I respect the question but I'm not getting into all that". In addition to his post season presser, Beane normally does do one just after the trade deadline as he did this year.
  5. When you own the team you need to do more than just hire people to outsource things to. As much as I feel McDermott is failing this team, he's the only one in management that has the balls to sit in front of reporters and face the music. Sure, he doesn't say a whole lot, granted. But at least he's on the firing line. Pegula and even Beane should be answering a LOT of questions right now as well.
  6. I'm going to put Terry Pegula on the milk carton. While I don't want him to be Jerry Jones or Jim Irsay in the media everyday, some comments on this team this season would be really nice from ownership. Even if it's just to basically say "we plan on evaluating everything after the season". Something. Anything.
  7. Declining in some aspects I agree. However the real fall out from that game to me was McDermott and Beane believing they were closer than they actually were and playing the "run it back" game instead of actively making changes to improve.
  8. You may be 100% correct about that. You could also be way wrong. We will find out after the season. But, you and I don't know what's in Pegula:s head right now. See, here's the issue. You say it's his first bad season. I say it's not. The season is only as good as how you finish. The last "good" season the Bills had was the year they overachieved a bit and ended up in the AFCCG. Since then we had the 13 seconds debacle. We had the meltdown at home against the Bengals. In between we have had quite a few games like last night and the game against Minnesota. Sure, his regular season record is great. But this isn't a team that can be content with winning the regular season. The Bills beat up on a lot of bad teams during his tenure here. The games McDermott wins the Bills blow people out. When we lose its normally a close game. Games like that are often won and lost by.... Coaching Decisions. You say "they" waited too long to fire Dorsey. "THEY" IS MCDERMOTT!!! Same guy that HIRED that inept tool. Same guy that brought him back. McDermott has preached "run it back" with coaches and players for so long that fans are blind to it. Where does that have us? With an aging and expensive roster that was never quite good enough to overcome the constant coaching blunders. We are in what, year 7? And he still doesn't know when to challenge a play or how to use time outs. Real change is needed in the organization. Both with players AND the coaching staff. Let's not waste yet another year on a coach that is a great person, just not a great HC.
  9. The only "good team" the Bills have beaten this year is the Dolphins. But we sure have lost to some not so good ones.
  10. You aren't wrong. What was even odder to me was how he was coming out on 3rd down at times tonight. Not typical. Wonder if he's playing through some kind of injury. Hoping he's not hitting that WR drop off. He's had his moments, for sure this year. But I'm thinking IF the Bills miss the playoffs this off season could be very interesting where it concerns 14.
  11. Would be an even worse move. We fires Dorsey already. And you want the guy who started as QB coach to be elevated to what? HC/OC/QB coach? They will not make a move like this in season but if they did there is one guy (that I can think of offhand) on the coaching staff that has any kind of NFL HC experience and that's Aaron Kromer.
  12. Great. Buffalo involved in another "Game of the Year" FFS.
  13. Eagles have 5 time outs to work with...because you know McDermott is going to use his on def.
  14. Ok. Defense with the stop. 7 minutes and the ball in Allen's hands. It's still a game.
  15. Letting Philly stay in it. Giving ZERO room for error for the defense. Don't like this.
  16. I want a looooong drive ending in a TD here. Take 6 minutes off the clock and add another 7.
  17. It's easy. If you can't blame a ref, blame a coach
  18. Drop TD. 2 penalties. Cost us 7 points. Can't do that.
  19. Everytime Hurts is in shotgun he squats like he's trying to 💩 on the field.
