  1. It appears that Davis isn't recovering as well as he should be. Wouldn't shock me if he remains unsigned for most if not all of this year. https://steelersnow.com/concerning-detials-emerge-on-steelers-wr-target-gabe-davis/ "Gabe Davis was brought in for a medical follow-up. And when he came in free agency, the Steelers did not like, and subsequently other teams have not liked, what they saw from MRIs or whatever it was that they looked at following that knee injury that ended his season last year,” Mike Prisuta said on 102.5 DVE.
  2. Shows that even with a mediocre QB, a proper game plan can go a long way. I have full faith in Joe Brady being able to devise a game plan if Mitch had to start a few games to set him up for success. Much more faith in Brady than I would Matt Canada who was his OC when he looked so bad in Pittsburgh.
  3. The Bears actually DID make the playoffs with Trubisky as the starter. Twice.
  4. This is one Deep Pass that was way under thrown and fell to the ground incomplete.
  5. The real question is...how many snaps for Grant DuBose?
  6. I agree about Davis. In addition to the slow feet he also lacks proper vision and struggles to find holes at times. But I think your trade idea is pie in the sky at best. Right now, Washington is rumored to be in the "RB sellers" market. They are rumored to be moving on from Brian Robinson as they like their other 3 backs in Chris Rodriguez, Austin Eckler and rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt a whole lot. I don't see them bringing another back into the room. And I don't see anyone trading for an oft injured WR at Samuel's price tag. McLaurin may be on the move...but keep an eye on the Saints, Jets or Vikings for his services IMO.
  7. If that's the case I would expect the Bills to showcase him quite a bit against the Bucs. As a RB, I've felt Davis has been rather 'meh' in his preseason carries. As a kicker he was rock solid.
  8. Don't we hear some version of this gibberish each year? So you're setting the line at the defense giving up on average 39.5 points a game over the course of the season? I'll take the under in any amount you wish to make it.
  9. Sounds like Jones tried to circumvent the agent and negotiated with Micah directly. Probably got Parsons to agree to a deal that strongly benefits the Cowboys. I'd tell him to shove it too.
  10. It was the slippery feet, wasn't it?
  11. Not sure about dusting Andy Reid, but I seen Andy Reid dust a sheet pizza and 2 orders of wings before. It was grotesque.
  12. Maybe the training staff should be cut.
  13. Unfortunately, I am visiting my inlaws
  14. They got plenty of reps together in camp and even reps together in the joint practices with the Bears. Don't think an additional 10-12 snaps against the Bucs second team defense is all that important.
  15. In fairness, Sul was clutch the year we got him. Dude was a ball hawk for the rest of the year for us. I don't know how he fell off so fast last year.
  16. Is it too early to call him a bust?
  17. Harry is always a guy I rooted for after he left the Bills. But he's dead to me now.
  18. You know who doesn't? Nyheim Hines. Oddly they are tied lol
  19. Rapp dinging up a teammate? Who would have thought....
  20. It worries me a little they haven't even let him take a snap in preseason. Hopefully, it's not a sign that he's been unimpressive.
  21. Say what you will about Jarveon Howard's brief Bills career...but he still has more rushing yards for the franchise than Reggie Bush ..
  22. Howard will carry the ball 9 times for 50 yards late in preseason game 3, and a fair chunk of people here will want him on the 53.
  23. He's a likeable kid. I really hope it works out for him here.
  24. Agreed. The most disheartening thing about McD's statement is that it seems Rapp is entrenched. He's horrible. Graded out worse than Hamlin last year. Not saying you're wrong, but I haven't seen anything stating Simmons wants $10M guarantee. Do you have a link or is this just projection from an armchair agent? I assume you mean Poyer. No thank you. He was toast last year in Miami and he was toast in his last year in Buffalo. Age/injury have caught him.
  25. Luke Kuechly was the most important player in McDermott's Carolina defense. And no, there wasn't even a close 2nd there either.
