  1. Part of me thinks they may active him today to serve as the "emergency QB" or back up or something.
  2. As it sits today before the Sunday games are played my feeling is the clearest path is through the division. Win out and I think it's ours. Even a loss today and I think we win it. I just don't see Miami beating Dallas and Baltimore, and they may have problems winning today against the Jets. As much as I dislike Tyreek Hill, him being gimpy really increased our odds. On the surface, it seems the annual late season Miami Meltdown is in full swing. The Wild Card, while possible is a pure crap shoot at this point both the amount we lost to AFC teams and the fact that Cincinnati and Denver are still in it and hold those head to head tie breakers.
  3. They should also fine Travis Kelce for that ridiculous looking mustache. Makes him look like he drives a windowless van with "free candy" spray painted on the side
  4. Browning has been good since he's been in. He's elevated by the offense and players around him. More proof for me that Burrow isn't as special as the WRs make him look.
  5. I see it one of two ways. That roster is good enough to get between 7-10 wins a year. So Bill could step in and ride that to the all time wins record. However if they want to be a better team, they have no cap space and aging stars. They need to rebuild through the draft or take a "tank year", cut the fat and take huge dead cap hits. Belichick doesn't have time for that.
  6. He, of course won't show up on the stat sheet. But I'm going with Spencer Brown. I expect the Bills to give him some help, sure. But I think we will see the same type of gameplan for Parsons that we saw when we played the Raiders with Crosby. I feel like if Brown can hold Parsons to 2-3 pressures that's a win for us.
  7. So, is that pronounced like Giff or Jiff? Giff and JoJo. This is not a serious organization
  8. Dang. We may just see some Jimmy G before the nights up😂
  9. Each team gets to choose 1 player from the opposing team (excluding Starting QB( to the 50 yard line. They will then take turns kicking each other in the groin until one guy concedes possession or passes out... ROSHAMBO!!!
  10. Pfft. Ryan Fitzpatrick would be shirtless and drinking an ice cold beer in this weather.
  11. If they do that my fear would be Dion Dawkins trying to make it the Schnow Plow and I don't know why but that spelling of Snow has always annoyed the bejesus out of me.
  12. I've always thought he would be such a perfect fit in this defense. I'll buy the markers now.
  13. I try not to read too much into these situations and try to keep to the facts and take words at face value. Sometimes that's the way to go and others, not so much. If I were to read into this whole situation between him and the Bills as a team, I would come to the conclusion that he doesn't have any issues with the Bills. Putting aside his direct statement it seems his issue has always been more in the face of "woke culture". That's been his consistent theme. He's also been in contact with team officials several times and if he held a grudge could have just as easily said "yeah, thanks but I'll make it without ya". Reading into it (which again, I hate to do) it feels to me like when he was cut there was a fair amount of "we don't want to do this but...." Talk from the Bills side. Wouldn't shock me at all if there wasn't a bit of a "get this worked out and if we have a spot you can come on back to work" type parting. Would not shock me in the least at this point to see him signed as a "futures" at the end of the season. They've kept contact for a reason...and we do have a need for next year
  14. Again, you call a torn ligament a sprain. Did you ever think that maybe he's calling it a torn ligament...because that's what it was? I am pretty sure he would have more access to his medical records than you correct? And yes, Buffalo is always super conservative with injury. Like Groot, who has played all year with a broken bone in his foot. Or, you know, certainly that they have been super conservative with their franchise QB who has played through a shoulder injury all year. And an UCL all last year. No one ever played injured on this (or any other) team. No, siree Bob. Laughable.
  15. Benford was clearly ahead of him...last season. You can go back and look at all the camp notes and see that Elam was clearly running ahead in the battle this season. And the Bills didn't "spend a 3rd rounder". They slide a 3rd for a 5th and this was likely more due to the White injury. You seem to think Elam is what? Lying? Or that if he's telling the truth having torn ligament in your ankle would have a down effect on a CB?
  16. Funny, I just mentioned Duggar in another post. He is EXACTLY who I see Beane targeting if he hits FA. He would be an excellent fit on this defense. The other Safety I would like if he's there would be Winfield, but I think he'll be too expensive.
  17. I'm going to make a very bold prediction. If (and it is a big if) he hits FA, one of those safety spots next season will be filled by Kyle Duggar. I almost am positive if he's not re-signed by NE he would be a priority FA for Beane, who it's reported really liked him coming out of the draft.
  18. Weird. Up until very late in camp Elam was running with the 1s quite frequently until Benford suddenly passed him on the depth chart. Many here were curious as to why and if Elam was slowed by a torn ankle ligament (not the same as a "sprain") that would explain what happened there. Not a trust issue. The Douglas trade has no bearing on Elam's future. It may have more to do with Tre White's. Benford may or may not be a CB next year. Then there's the whole issue of injury. Having too many CBs is a good problem to have. As far as beating Douglas or Benford next year...never say never. I seem to remember a LOT of people laughing at the notion that Bernard could even compete for the MLB job.
  19. He doesn't mention the Bills. You're reading into it. What he is on record about when it comes to the Bills can be found in this article with attached interview. https://fox5sandiego.com/sports/former-sdsu-punter-matt-araiza-speaks-out-after-rape-claims-dismissed/ “I hold nothing against the Buffalo Bills, I wish things were handled differently,” Araiza continued. “But they did treat me with respect, which I appreciate. It’s just the climate of how things are now. Accusations bring so much hate to anyone who stands by the accuser that they were kind of forced to cut me from the team.”
  20. I did. And I watched the presser. He's speaking here in general terms. More the quick to judge society over the specific nature bof what happened to him and the Bills. He's actually been on record in the past saying he holds no I'll will against Buffalo. If I can find those quotes I'll gladly post them, but they were from another article.
