  1. James Cook just broke 1,000 yards rushing on the season
  2. The Josh Allen Experience. Aaaand awayyyyy we gooooo
  3. Where are you seeing that? Because, yes people CAN make this stuff up.
  4. Making Stick look like Fouts out there on the opening drive. Hate these slow "give them confidence" drives against crap teams.
  5. Possible. I think Johnson's shoulder has a major influence in Fournette being active, though. Even if Lenny plays well I don't see the need for him to be on the roster if Cook, Murray and Johnson are healthy. Those 3 have all earned their play time IMO.
  6. This would be my guess. Makes sense. Let Ty rest up and get Lenny a bit of game time
  7. Truthfully, I see the possibility of a LOT going Buffalo's way this week. I think the Steelers, even with Mason Rudolph have a shot. No Chase this week to bail Browning out. Steelers still have a good defense and always play for Tomlin. Browns SHOULD handle Houston without Stroud. Falcons are a mixed bag. But they are at home and I like their chances. Arthur Smith is terrible, though. Jags have been free falling and Duval Barbie is banged up. Baker and the Bucs played excellent ball last week. Dolphins feeling themselves after squashing the lowly Jets last week, while Dallas is looking to rebound. Dallas isn't great on the road, Miami is better at home but they struggle against good teams. My only worry here is that the Bills just handed Miami a blueprint to win this game with Mosert and Achane.
  8. The only reason this kid won't be NFL Rookie of the year is because he doesn't play QB. Stroud has been phenomenal, no doubt. But this kid is setting records and playing elite.
  9. If I'm a team with an expected vacancy and this report is put out by "his people" this is an immediate red flag to me. For the record, don't care what the rumored demands are. What I would care about is that he is a coach, moving to playoff football and seems concerned with playing with media to jockey for a higher contract with his next team. It's really not the best optics if I'm doing the hiring. And I understand that sometimes agents go rogue and play these games. I'd question if he can't control the agent that works "for him" how could he command control over an entire team.
  10. Who can afford food with having to pay SIX WHOLE DOLLARS to watch the game?!?! Kidding aside, making a lasagna, side salad and garlic bread as we have family in for the holidays and it's a family traditional meal.
  11. If Buffalo had done that and the Jets get a KR TD or a fluke play that scores the TD are you ready for the narrative of "Why would you not give the ball to Josh Allen? McDermott totally neutered Allen here, showed no confidence in one of the best QBs in the NFL. What a stupid decision". And now that becomes yet another talking point on why McDermott should be fired. Always easier to pass the test after the answers are given out. I never even considered that could happen until I read this, and now it's my biggest fear. What about a game of horse between the kickers? Some trick shots from all over the stadium. Would be amazing in a snowstorm.
  12. CMC was healthy at the end last year. True. However looking at this year, he's already had 283 touches. That's playing with fire with a guy with the injury history that he's had. With them still fighting for the 1 seed, I don't expect to see that load lighten. There's a possibility that even if he's on the field come the NFCCG, he's physically not able to be the force he's been this year. In short, the Derrick Henry affect. Houston was my surprise team before the season started (and I have the comments on this site to back that up lol). Stroud has been fantastic. Losing Dell really hurts them. I do think the Jags blow the division, but the Colts are (somehow) still right there too.
  13. I wonder how many people won't pay $6 to stream Peacock to watch the game but gave Tyler Dunce $8 to read his 9th grade English Lit essay? I'm willing to bet there's a pretty strong crossover.
  14. As some have said, the favorite for AFCCG have to be Baltimore and for the Super Bowl the 49ers. But it only takes 1 bad week and there are questions about almost every team that's playoff bound (or will be) Baltimore: can Lamar finish a season and if he does will he finally show up big in the playoffs? San Francisco: Will CMC actually make it a full season and playoffs without injury? Without him that offense could sputter. Dallas: Can they win several road playoff games? Miami: Can they win against good teams? Philadelphia: Seem to be falling off Jacksonville and Detroit look tough, but again what happens when they play better quality opponents? Meanwhile KC and Buffalo and teams like Cincy and Cleveland are lurking. What teams suffer injury between now and the Wild Card round? This year is more wide open in both conferences than I can remember it ever being.
  15. Hate playing teams that are in the Chargers situation. Lost season, lost their QB. Head coach fired. They seemingly have nothing to play for... except contract bonus money. This team just got way more dangerous because Staley is gone. And even Jeff freaking Saturday won his first game as IHC. Buffalo coming off a week of being, once again media darlings. Long trip out west and a looming divisional rematch next week. These are traditionally the types of games that they come in flat to start the game. This is going to be a test for McDermott and the Bills on a LOT of levels. I'm optimistic that the intensity we have seen the last few games is real and here to stay. I think the Bills find a way to win this one, but it's not going to be the laugher some might think. Bills-27 Chargers- 23
  16. Cook couldn't have caught the flu from any Cowboys. They never got close enough to breathe on him.
  17. Buy: Rasul Douglas. Since his big game where he SHOULD have won DPoW, he's been quiet. Too quiet. Now, I know that's a good thing for a CB because he's not getting beat...but the guy is a known ball hawk. I'm seeing him force a turnover or 2 this week and raise his value immensely. Sell: Dodson. He's been playing extremely well this year. Way above what most thought he would. But he does struggle in the pass game and the Chargers have one of the best pass catching threats out of the backfield in the NFL. He could crash this week. Hold: Joe Brady. I have invested in him enough and am absolutely loving what I see. Things such as a high percentage of motion presnap, to pounding the rock when a team challenged him. He calls a good game. I'm curious to see what adjustments teams will make to his style and how he will overcome those adjustments.
  18. I thought this year was the year Sean McDermott would grow a full head of hair. There's always next year.
  19. So, it's not so much of the QBs as based on team colors is what I'm getting.
