  1. You are correct. I did misspeak. I said arrest. The difference here seems to be the charges. It seems Ogletree has charges pending where Miller does not yet. We are still in a holding pattern waiting to see if the Dallas DA files charges. However, there are always so many layers to issues like this.
  2. To further the issue, no matter how many people go up to the ref to say they are eligible, it's likely not going to be that confusing to the defense as the Ref has to announce to the defense what number declared before the play. Just seems like an unnecessary way to overthink things.
  3. Ok. Then care to correct it? I'd be eager to know for fact what the correct explanation is. As I said that was just my belief on how it worked.
  4. I believe this is the final game that Belichick will coach the Patriots against the Bills. Truly the final piece of the Patriots Dynasty falls soon after. Fare thee well oh Hooded One. Buffalo has a nice 20 point stomping to hand you on your way OUT.
  5. Well, I will say this. No Waddle and no Mostert on offense on the road against that defense is a tall task. Miami players and fans have cried all year about not being taken seriously and lack of respect. About Tua being an afterthought in the MVP. Fine. Here's their shot. Go into Baltimore down a few key players, play lights out and win this one and they can earn that respect. A huge game in Baltimore out of Tua and he should be an MVP candidate. That said: Baltimore 27 Miami 16 sounds about right.
  6. I would not play high stakes poker against Dan Campbell.
  7. For those about to ask, I believe the difference between this situation and Von Miller's is that Ogletree was placed under arrest and Miller was not. Once an arrest happens a player qualifies for the Commissioner Exempt List.
  8. He was. Once he kicked inside to guard he was ok. Not starter material, but would be acceptable depth inside. He also chipped in at the "6th OL" position last year and did very well. He finished with a 52 overall PFF grade for us in 2022 which was up from his 33.7 the year before.
  9. What I would like to see most of all: Kansas City loses their final 2 (Bengals & Chargers) Las Vegas wins their final 2 (Colts & Broncos) The likelihood of all four of those games falling the way I want is admittedly slim BUT: That would give the AFCW to the Raiders and knock Mahomes and the Chiefs out of the playoffs completely.
  10. Not only from a talent standpoint is it a big loss for New England, but this dude is one of the hardest hitters in the NFL. I would go as far to say almost an Atwater style impact. That is a LOT of bumps, bruises and possible injuries that our WRs will not have the following week against the Dolphins.
  11. Saw some on Twitter suggest they rename the award the "Damar Hamlin Comeback Player of the Year" award and give it to someone that had a more impactful comeback in the field. I don't hate that idea.
  12. On offense it's seemed to be someone new every week since Brady took over. Kincaid had a run. Cook was featured. Even Gabe Davis has showed out a time or two. Real crap shoot to predict. In a perfect world this would be a Diggs get right game. But we don't live in a perfect world and I still think Stef is being limited by injury. One of the things the Pats do well is contain the run. So I think Cook has a good but not great day. My pick: Khalil Shakir. I think even though he hasn't been himself, Belichick still schemes Diggs out. Gabe did well last week...so Brady has some things up his sleeve for Shakir. Thinking the 5 catch 110 yards and a TD. May even factor into the return game this week if Harty is inactive.
  13. Ray Rice and Tyreek Hill will be on the same field at the same time?
  14. Yeah, he seems disgruntled. Little man syndrome, perhaps? Maybe we get the Isabella call up for PR duties?
  15. Duval Barbie OUT against the Panthers. Could be an upset brewing in an important one....
  16. What is it about WRs and vague social media posts?
  17. Just google "Chargers OnlyFan" and tiny Asian. I'm sure you'll get some good results. 😂😂
  18. That may end up an unpopular opinion just because of where he played and how douchey he was as a player....but you're not really wrong. Edelman is pretty good on the pregame shows. I don't mind him as much as I thought I would. He's usually pretty good and seems to respect Allen and the Bills a fair amount.
  19. No one cares about the Chargers. Except that one tiny Asian female that was paid to be a fan.
  20. Since the dynasty died, I've actually enjoyed Belichick a bit. His press conferences have always been unintentional comic GOLD. It's really been a lot of fun this year. It's absolutely hysterical to me the way the the New England reporters have covered him for 20+ years and still basically line up to be told to piss off by him 3 or 4 times a week. And his legendary pettiness when it comes to the Jets is to this day one of the most hysterical things in the NFL....does not get talked about enough.
  21. Von Miller faces felony arrest in Buffalo Breaking news this morning that Buffalo Bills EDGE rusher Von Miller is facing felony arrest after being accused of straight up robbing the Buffalo Bills of more than $17 million dollars this season. Several sources confirm that Miller, 34 plans to continue his theft of team funds for the foreseeable future. We reached out to Miller's representatives however they did not immediately respond. More on this story as it develops.
  22. I'm fine with Hamlin winning it. I'm fine if he doesn't. I get that he has gone through a lot and even though his snaps and impact has been rather insignificant, his ability to play has been remarkable. I'm sure the NFL makes sure he wins it so they can squeeze just a tad more PR out of the situation. That's what it's all about anyways, right? Flacco and Mayfield as "comeback" players is a joke. Flacco has played what, 5 games? He's coming "back" from what exactly? Being unsigned? Being a member of the Jets? Mayfield has had a really solid season...but again what is he "coming back" from? Honestly, even though I can't stand him, the player that has had the most impactful on field come back for my money is Matthew Stafford.
  23. At one point I found it easy to root for the Bengals. Loveable losers that finally turned the corner and all. Now? Not so much. Bunch of cocky asshats. Reminds me of the Legion of Boom era Seahawks minus the Super Bowl title.
