I don't like to speak in absolutes...but this one is clear. You NEVER assume a QB is going to fall to you. If you like him so does someone else and they will find that trade partner to jump ahead and nab them.

I'm on the Charger bandwagon for the night. Keep willing and stay near KC. They meet head to head again this year. If the Chargers don't "Charger" they could make that game meaningful and give less paths to the playoffs for Cincinnati and Miami.

If I'm not mistaken, Bizarro Allen has started in Buffalo before. He was a Bronco then. He played horrible (less than 100 pass yards)

Better team doesn't always come away with the win. Football is about matchups...and they match up well against out defense.

I'm rooting for the Patriots over Dolphins. I want the Dolphins to slide further down and make the fans cry harder. I wouldn't mind New England winning just enough to hurt their draft position and give them false hope that Mayo is their coach going forward.

Exactly this. Regular season is about stacking wins any way possible. I would rather beat a depleted team then take the "noble loss" to a team at full strength. I don't remember anyone getting an asterisk next to a win against the Bills the last few years with our injury issues

Shanny already saying his status for next week is "up in the air" may not be a good indication for them that he plays vs us.

I'm really starting to hope we get this guy under contract on an extension. Love to see how he does with a full off-season in the system and building on timing/anticipation with Allen and in this offense.

Dear Hades, can they stop using "Former Pro Bowl" like it matters? Once Tyler Huntley and Mac Jones became "Former Pro Bowl QBs" it really became a parody of what it once meant.

Honestly, it was pretty well thought that it was ownership that pushed them to re-sign Jones. Still doesn't feel like they really did enough over the last 2 years to give him pieces to improve the offense. As far as his future and bringing him here, I think I may want him as a backup more than Trubiski. But he will get some better opportunities to see the field IMO. The Raiders should be in on him and depending on what they truly think of Lance, Dallas taking him for the rest of the season makes some sense too.

And yet you have multiple owners that read way too much of the opinions on social media and form decisions based off that. Not a lot, but some of the poorly run franchises....which checks out why they are run so poorly. The Dolphin ownership is and always has been a franchise that monitors the public opinion and reacts accordingly.

Curry is thought of in many circles as a future OC. That wouldn't shock me actually. And remember, Brady wasn't technically a "Daboll guy". But he was on the coaching roster being brought in from the outside to learn the Bills Way. Similar to how Curry was brought in.

You haven't figured out what happens in the off chance Brady get a HC job? We "interview" 2 minority candidates to meet the Rooney Rule...then promote from within. Detroit's turnaround makes me laugh at the Dolphins more than anyone. The had Campbell in house as their interim HC and pushed him out to hire Flores (I believe). That didn't work out well Depends on how hard KS may have been pushing for the Watson trade behind the scenes. Remember, they had Baker and Baker had shown well in the system. And let's face it, at some point when a team underachievers there has to be a sacrifice made to the roar of the fans. An owner isn't going to fire himself, so the HC is next to go. It's why I still think Mike McDaniel isn't fully safe in Miami even though they just signed him to a new deal. If Miami crashes from here on our his seat may be boiling hot.

The Bengals are modern day fools gold IMO. They always had an explosive offense because of the weapons they have. That's what makes the highlights and people believe they are a good "team" But their defense is devoid of talent aside from one or two guys. They have no depth. Burrow and Chase are playing out of their mind but they can't stop a nose bleed. Their DC was a HOT Head Coach candidate a couple years ago, and slowly as they have lost players because they won't pay them...the D has got worse and his start has faded.
