  1. /Sigh Ok. They held that offense without Waddle and Mostert to 14 points. Without Tre White, without Matt Milano, without Rasul Douglas and Dodson for a majority of the game as well. So they wre without a RB and WR. We were without a CB, the CB to replace him, our WLB and the replacement WLB. I'd say at MINIMUM that evens out.
  2. I've seen a lot of people chip in that we couldn't get pressure on Tua. That's actually common for playing against him as he gets the ball out very quickly. And don't want to pin your ears back as a DL and go after him because if you do that and don't set the edge Achane pops it around the corner and to the house. At the end of the day, Buffalo held that "revolutionary" offense to 14 points in their town (albeit it's OUR stadium).
  3. The best video of all times...updated. Hysterical.
  4. It's official. Who didn't see this one coming? And while not a HC, a familiar face is unemployed today as well.
  5. But now they get to incorporate Joe Brady into the equation as well.
  6. I'll go with: Texans over Browns. Classic case of going with the team that has the better QB Flacco has been great, but I don't think it continues. Houston will be in front of their home crowd and the Browns are "meh" on the road. Chiefs over Dolphins. Again, better QB and at home. That's a killer combo come playoffs. Miami's offense will sputter in the cold and they are comically 1 and done after all the hype. Bills over Steelers. I respect Mike Tomlin and I think they will compete more in this one than most think. Harris is running hard. But likely no TJ Watt changes that defense immensely. And sooner or later Mason is gonna Rudolph. Cowboys over Packers. Despite Jordan Love playing really will lately, he just doesn't have enough around him yet. Lions over Rams. Jared Goff revenge game, anyone? Detroit is ready to make some noise. Rams have some real nice offensive talent and in the dome....this may be a "first to 40 wins" type game. Buccaneers over Eagles. Cry Eagles, Cry. They way the season played out I think I'm more upset losing to these frauds than I am Denver. Baker is going to do just enough to pull off a win. And watching him advance and the Browns going home is just too perfect to script up.
  7. I'm hoping the Chiefs make the LoLphins 1 and done. I do not want to meet a division rival in the playoffs. Recipe for an upset right there. Give me Mahomes, on OUR field and let's get over the hump of losing to the guy in the playoffs. I want to see Mahomes so upset he knocks Andy Reid's chicken nuggets on the ground.
  8. They actually asked McDaniel that this week. His response (paraphrasing) was basically "We are going in to win a football game. That's the only way to approach it. But if it's tied and at the end of the game that's information that would be factored in". So, basically yes they would have played for a tie if the option to win was a longshot and the opportunity was there.
  9. Agree. Football can be ugly. To the complainers today I'll ask a simple question. Would you rather lose, but look pretty doing it or win and win ugly? That's all football comes down to. Did you win or lose. And the Bills have won ugly all the way to the #2 seed. I'll take that over looking good, setting records, being the toast of the NFL and ending up a 6 seed ANY day.
  10. I can see why it's a question and it has some validity IMO as his play has been...I won't say bad but maybe a bit streaky over the last month. I cannot justify benching him right now, however. There is a lot to be said for communication and consistency along the line. These guys have over 1000 snaps this year with each other. Bad time to shake it up IMO. Having him out there has also seemed to help steady Spencer Brown's play as well. I roll with how it is, unless there is an underlying injury hampering him we are unaware of.
  11. Any money I'd donate to the Titans would be lateraled to Harty or Sherfield charities instead. Those were the heroes of the game.
  12. All season long Harty, Sherfield and Knox have been punching bags around here. And all 3 scored big TDs today. What a time to be alive.
  13. Another name to watch: Mike Vrabel. I feel like he should be back, ownership has said they want him back, but wouldn't shock me if he left for another opportunity.
  14. Gotta wonder if the Saints move on from Dennis Allen as well. Could Pete Carrol finally hang em up?
  15. Jordan Love just did what AAron Rodgers couldn't last year. Week 18 win and in victory to make it in. Congratulations to the Packers. Love has been really good late in the season.
  16. That Spears kid at RB is a good start. Levis showed some promise. Good building blocks on the OL. Could use some outside speed WRs. Deep WR class this year. If Levis takes some steps years 2, they might be ok.
  17. Some people down in Jacksonville got Jags playoff tickets for Christmas. Whoops.
  18. So, the Chiefs are letting Chris Jones play in a game that means nothing so he can try and get his million dollar sack bonus. If he gets hurt that defense goes from hero to zero real quick. If I owned the team I'd have him inactive and pay the bonus anyway. Of course, he missed week 1 in a contract dispute and could have possibly gotten that sack there in a game that would have meant something. Just a weird thing to risk for the team.
  19. I KNEW DHop would catch a big TD for the Bills this year.
  20. One thing I'm interested in this week that's not getting talked about enough. Last year the Packers were at home, vs a division rival in a "win and in" scenario. And Rodgers couldn't get it done. This year with Jordan Love...week 18...at home... division rival....win and in. Let's see if Love can get it done.
  21. But that hasn't always been the case. The majority of Tomlin's career he's had that HoF level QB. A top defense. He's had the tools. McDermott has made a playoff with Tyrod. Circumstances are not exact, but there are definitely parallels IMO.
  22. Here's my expert breakdown for this matchup. A dolphin can out swim a buffalo. But, a Buffalo can run faster than a dolphin. So basically in a triathlon, it comes down who the better cyclist is. And dolphins don't have knees. As you can see, Buffalo has a clear advantage and should win easily.
  23. I think many fans there are at the same point with Tomlin as fans here are at with McDermott. Both win a lot in the regular season. Both from William & Mary (did anyone know that?!?). Both have had recent playoff failures. While Tomlin has at least won a Super Bowl he also hasn't been in a long time. He also doesn't have a playoff win in a long time. They mentioned on the broadcast last night that TJ Watt remarked he's never been part of a team that won a playoff game. That's a long time. I think it's more "we need a new voice" and they just assume they will hire the next great coach so...let's just move on. Spoiled.
