  1. https://en.as.com/nfl/why-do-nfl-players-have-be-love-or-choose-love-on-their-helmets-n/ Google is free.
  2. This is our opportunity to take bus loads of Steeler fans and drive them to Rochester.
  3. It's how I feel with a section of Steeler fans when it comes to head coaches. To go From Noll to Cowher to Tomlin, they really have no idea how difficult finding a HC can be. Generations of Steeler fans have not had to suffer through even 1 Marrone, Stevenson or Bullough.
  4. Pretty high. The narrative that the Bills play down to their opponent is in the back of my mind. Taking a different approach, sometimes maybe teams just play up to the Bills and force mistakes. Steelers playing with house money today have nothing to lose. However, this is the best matchup we could have hoped for IMO. And the likely road to the Super Bowl is clearing up. Steelers --> Chiefs --> @ Baltimore. Not a simple road but doable. This is the best path the Bills have faced under McDermott IMO. I'm confident.
  5. I have a feeling this game is going to get chippy early. Steelers are going to want to try and out physical the Bills during the play and do some shoving after. And the Bills don't put up with that these days.
  6. I'm aiming for Levi Wallace. He won't catch it anyway.
  7. Well here's the thing. We can throw them without penalty until the warning. Choose the freebies wisely.
  8. Jordan Love was spectacular. Looks like the real deal. I can hardly wait to see the trade package the Jets send Green Bay in 2035 for him.
  9. I get more frustrated explaining that the state of New York isn't just some large state with skyscrapers and huge amounts of traffic in every town and that there are things like farmland and trees.
  10. You're welcome to park at my house. Free of charge. Driveway is cleared and it's fully accessible. Of course it all the way out in Brockport, so you may want to get here soon. Heck of a walk over to the stadium.
  11. In fairness we haven't seen the playoff 49ers or Ravens yet. How will 2 weeks off play into Baltimore's rhythm? Will Shannahan fall apart in the playoffs again? I'd bet that at least one of the #1 seeds fail.
  12. Well, problem is guys only get so many chances at a HC job. Pick the wrong one and you may never see another shot. Steve Wilks. Frazier. Sometimes it's smarter to pass a bad situation. Same is true in any walk of life. I've turned down positions (and yes in my former career field there were limited positions available) at better pay because the situation was irreparable and I didn't want that stank on my name when it failed.
  13. For anyone that says he won't get a job I present to you: Dave Culley. Lovie Smith. Mike Pettine. Every so often a job becomes available that no one is wanting to be a part of. The Browns the year Pettine was hired had MANY people turn down the job. Back to back years no one wanted the Texans job. Now I present to you: the Carolina Panthers. No 1st round pick. Locked into Bryce Young. A moronic owner. Not much talent on the roster. Back to back seasons of firing a coach in season. Very dysfunctional. It may come down to a guy like Frazier, Rex Ryan or EB that are so desperate for a chance they jump at it. The Ben Johnsons of the world aren't headed to that situation.
  14. I like the Lions. I think the Lions win. But have to pull for the Rams. Don't want to see another franchise win their first Super Bowl before Buffalo does. I'm a hater.
  15. This whole Packers run and Jordan Love exploding all started when they didn't have a turkey leg for Love after they beat the Lions on Thanksgiving.
  16. He should've been trying to recruit Josh because Dak is absolutely ass.
  17. Lots of teams leaving a voice mail on Dan Quinn's phone saying "Um, heyyy something suddenly came up. Gonna have to reschedule that meeting...."
  18. I'm sure they will. They would be dumb not to and the Steelers organization has never been dumb. Wouldn't shock me if they announced an extension either. But he would be a HOT commodity on the open market. Pittsburgh will need to go big.
  19. Here's my thought. The Dolphins run something pretty close to and based off the Shannahan System. And we hear nonstop about how QB friendly the system is. I do believe you still need a QB that can execute it and it's not the one size fits all system people think. However, Tua can run it as long as everything is on schedule. Anything else he personally falters. Cold weather or against solid defenses he's not the same. Any time he's forced to come off the initial read and improvise, he fails. And I'm sorry but the NFL Tua is not clutch. And he's about as mobile as a fire hydrant. They should move on. But I see them eventually handing him a Daniel Jones level contract and hoping for the best.
  20. He's not wrong. He's even wise enough here to acknowledge that a dome would have no bearing on the situation which is better than a LOT of talking heads see. And curse you for making me come to Mike freaking Florio's defense today.
  21. Yes and no. While they do have 2 possible teams to keep an eye on, the extra days can likely be spent doing some self scouting and cleaning up their own tendencies and mistakes. Gives them a bit of time to focus on themselves before focusing on anyone else...a luxury at this point in the season the Bills or Steelers will not have.
  22. Fin fans are waking up a bit today. All season They have heard that Tua isn't clutch, he pads stats against bad teams and struggles against good ones. And over the last 3 weeks he's shown that. And now they have a QB that has been in the league 4 years, appeared in 1 playoff game and whose "signature win" is a week 3 game against Buffalo last season that was aided by the heat index that he doesn't even remember winning because he was concussed. And he's very likely going to be looking for some serious money.
