  1. Wish they were both still in their prime. But time marches on and this is likely the last chance they have to win it together here in Buffalo. Looking ahead, hoping to hit on a Safety on day 2 of the draft. And bring in Kyle Duggar.
  2. Honestly with how banged up they are, having the week off from doing reps may not be terrible. I'd expect almost a third of the team to be "limited" at minimum anyways. Not getting the reps in shouldn't be hard to adjust to. There are Im sure plans in place and there is some experience from the past with both weather and the COVID season. If practices are virtual, I would think they can hammer home the mental aspects and watch extra film as well.
  3. Not sure I'm really worried. Supposed to be bitter cold at kickoff. Flags tend to stay in hand a bit more when the temp is low. Refs don't get heated benches and blowers on em. They want a quick game.
  4. Morse is such a good dude. Guy was made to play in Buffalo. I don't know if he's back next season, but I'm really hoping we win it all this year to get him and guys like Poyer and Hyde a ring before they're gone.
  5. In fairness, Ice Bowl would often say the Bills were better than the Packers and he was a troll...🤣
  6. Well, he is a Chiefs fan so he may need a little time to find his ski mask and stop at a bank before he has the funds.
  7. I'm one of them. Few years back I gave up my seasons because of a few factors, but the cold was at the top of the list. Would still love to be out there, but getting to an age where no matter how well bundled being out in it for long just destroys my body for a week. At the end of the day though, they have no motivation to spend the extra on a dome to appeal to everyone because they won't lose money. Oh, they lost MY money but someone else stepped in and is in those seats. And the world keeps spinning. If there was a dome I would go again. But without it I physically can't stand the weather.
  8. Well, the simple answer there is Murray is on the active roster and Fournette isn't, correct? Now, I do get the question of why is Murray on the roster and not Fournette, I share that opinion. But that's why Murray was active. Calling up the 2 we did made it impossible to call up Fournette. We would have had to make another roster move (someone cut or to IR) to put Lenny on the 53.
  9. The Dolphins have the chance to do the funniest thing ever...
  10. Yes, that's why I stayed all our RBs were healthy....
  11. Houston played in Baltimore week 1 of this season. Stroud's first NFL game...on the road against that D. Stroud went 28/44 242 yards with 0TDs, but also 0INT. He's gotten better. Does that mean he'll light it up this time? 🤷🏼‍♂️ But it shows to me at least that on the road in what many rookies can find overwhelming...he can do well. They have a real shot.
  12. If the Ravens come out slow and flat after 2 weeks off and Houston can jump out to an early lead it puts the pressure on Lamar to win as a passer. That would be a huge advantage for the Texans. If the Texans want to pull the upset this is the game script that gets them there.
  13. Wow. Excellent points. But you are incorrect. Matt Haack is out there as well. Not who I would want but you really made a strong case for him inadvertently.
  14. You got it right. With Davis and Dodson out we needed another WR and LB called up. Fournette wasn't needed as we had all our RBs healthy.
  15. After back to back 100 yard games, last night Harris was held to 12 carries and 37 yards. And a good chunk of that was without Bernard. Buffalo has played well against the run. Pacheco is a good back, but we can play the _____ was out for last game thought exercise for every game. They didn't have Pacheco. We didn't have DQ Jones. Balances out some.
  16. Officiating league wide is a problem. Every week any team that plays can point to a handful of plays and say "The refs screwed us" while simultaneously ignoring all the calls that went in their teams favor. It's really just a built in excuse (in most cases) to let people feel like they and their team is some sort of victim rather than they simply lost. That's life in 2024. No one can admit they lost fair and square and it has to be some sort of elaborate scam. For the most part ( again, not always) the bad calls even out through the course of a game. Add into the fact that a large number of fans and even many players THINK they know the rules much better than they actually do. GameDay threads are chalked full of examples of this.
  17. Usually on Thursday games I'll check out the teams who are playing's message board. More times than not the thread here is longer than the ones on their own fans bases pages.
  18. He is. Doesn't mean he plays until the same age as his brother. Guys retire at a lot of different ages.
  19. One Kelce down...one to go. Wonder if Travis is pondering it as well after a down season (by his standard). Would give him time to follow T Swift on her concerts like a Dead Head and give the Kelce brothers a shot to make the HoF in the same year.🤔
  20. I wish the Bills/Chiefs game was up first. Obviously, I'll hope the Texans win so it gives the Bills the home AFCCG if they win. But if I knew the Chiefs would win I'd pull for Baltimore because I don't want Mahomes at home yet again for another AFCCG. I do think the Texans have a chance. They are playing their best ball right now and that makes them dangerous.
  21. This. To me this is the ultimate "put up or shut up" situation. The Bills need to put the Chiefs down here. A win in this spot erases years of playoff failures to the Chiefs. Erases last year's divisional round let down at home against Cincinnati. I don't think I'm overplaying it by saying it's the most important game of McDermott's era. Getting bounced for a 3rd time in 4 years by the Chiefs would be unacceptable. Losing a home divisional round game for the second straight year would be equally unacceptable. Especially against a Chief team that is not as strong as years past. Considering the opponents recent past, I'm oddly confident. The time is now.
  22. Worried about the injuries. Worried about our kicking game. Not worried about the Chiefs.
  23. This is NOT who I would want...but Matt Haack is a free agent. Betting that's who comes in.
  24. Because if Harbs has to listen to "YEEEEAAAAAA HERE WE GOOOOOOOO...." for a full season he may just crush someone's head in with a frying pan. And that would be bad.
  25. They have interviewed Leslie Frazier and Steve Wilks. That settles the Rooney Rule so they can offer him a job if they wish. I also agree that Spanos is not likely to pay what he's going to want. Wouldn't mind it though as it would make the Chiefs life a little more difficult twice a season.
