This defense from late in the 4th last week and the start this week. Has been really good....

Saleh and Ulbrich did a good job game planning against us. CJ Moseley was a Bills nightmare. They had a really good CB in DJ Reed opposite Gardner. None of them are there anymore. It's a new defense in Jest Land. Like Denny Green said...if you wanna crown em... This years Jet defense without some of the good players and coaches they've had...needs to prove itself. They sure didn't last week.

I bet that manager left the Bills/Ravens game at the half...

Here's my advice. You're already on the hook for plane tickets, likely a hotel and food while here. Why risk it on tickets? Get the tickets early so you have the peace of mind and can spend your trip enjoying the event and time with your daughter/family. That way too, you can go on the ticket sites and pull up the view from your seats to build some excitement.

My only pause with this game is the 9ers are missing a LOT of guys in addition to Purdy. But I have the sneakily suspicion that the San Fran 2nd team skill players are better than the Saints starters. We shall see.

Good thing this isn't the last 3 years then huh? Here's where I fall. Saleh and Ulbrich were running that Jets defense very well. They did really well frustrating Josh. Both of them are gone. Coach Glenn's defense in Detroit left a lot to be desired...and Allen had success against it. They don't have DJ Reed opposite Gardner anymore. They don't have CJ Mosley anymore who always showe up against us. I just don't think their defense is all that great anymore. Fields can be very hot/cold. Make him play QB and you got a good chance to stop their offense. Shut down the run and keep them behind the sticks on 1st and 2nd down....then do whatever you have to to stop Garrett Wilson on 3rd.

Big Ed being out sucks because he can't build on that great game he has last week. But a DT being out isn't going to decide who wins this game. I figure they will call Jordan Phillips up from the PS and while there will be some drop-off, it won't likely be enough to change the outcome.

There was a thread in this week or two ago. The correspondence here is to have money for low level roster moves due to injury, paying the PS guys and being under the cap.

At some points when you are far ahead, it's actually a smart plan to go from all gas no breaks to more conservative run the clock down mentality. It's actually a sound thought process... albeit not as fun for fans to watch.

I do like their tackles. But they are both very young. Membou is a rookie starting his second game and lining up across from an experienced vet in Joey Bosa. I like those odds.

I like that players count on JA17 late in games. But I don't like that it just comes across as "we don't have to do anything special most of the game....Josh will figure it out".

I have a conundrum. Normally when I pick the Bills to lose they win. When I pick the Bills to win...not so much. I feel like this is a game Buffalo should dominate. Looking at the Jets is like it's like facing Baltimore's JV squad. This is a game I feel like the Bills should win like 33-16. (But now I need to talk myself into the Jets winning). Fields is much better than people give him credit for. When he's on he's deadly. Garrett Wilson normally rips us up pretty well. Definitely starting him in fantasy. They did put up a lot of points on a Steelers defense that was projected to be pretty good. And Josh has struggled in the Meadowlands. I'll officially go with: Jets- 37 Bills- 30

My personal opinion...the Baltimore OL is much better than what the Jets have. If Oliver and Bosa play they way they did against the Ravens they are going to cause havoc every time Fields drops back. Bosa especially I'm seeing a great game out of.
