  1. Not sure what gave off the impression that his deal I didn't care for, but I didn't mind his. The only one I find a tad unlikeable so far is the Groot one. And that's only because year in and year out he starts the season well. Gets some sacks then has foot/ankle injuries that slow his production the rest of the year. Would have liked to see him stay productive for an entire year before extending him. I get why they did it, like the player and the number isn't terrible. Just hoping for some consistency. This one was more of a gamble then the others IMO.
  2. For me, I liked 3 out of the four so far. But I want to see how it all plays out before judging how the rest of their plan unfolds. There are definitely layers to what an NFL front office does
  3. He's ok. He's not DK or JSN. Let alone having both.
  4. I'd take Shakir over Meyers, myself.
  5. And OJ wasn't convicted of murder either
  6. Damn. He went full Von Miller. Maybe we aren't the fan base that gets to find glee in this one. Collectively, we may wanna sit this one out....
  7. You take all 12 to camp. You worry about cuts or trading later in the off-season and hang onto them all in case of injury.
  8. The FULL Favre? All that would be left is the 🍆 selfie and theft of public money. Neither I would put past Rodgers either...
  9. But what you're asking for has already/is in the process of happening with Torrence. He needs to finish getting him to his potential before we get him a new flashy toy.
  10. Honesty, if someone started one for $17 donations to Oishei Children's Hospital as a fan "wedding gift" I bet it would make a stupid amount of money. I'm not a big "donate for everything" guy but at least this one would help the local community. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  11. Brittany's IG is gonna be a fun watch May 30th...
  12. Milano, Von and Samuel are 3 IMO to watch for possible pay cuts. While it's true post June 1st cuts don't help immediately, they do allow you to not have to hold money for your draft picks and 2 and wave of free agency. So you can spend more of what you do have and worry about the rest with post June 1st money. A little robbing Peter to pay Paul action.
  13. Oh I fully agree. But in the right system, with the right coaching and a year or two working on his passing....he's got the athletic profile you want. Kid COULD develop into a star. He could also (and my bet) be Anthony Richardson 2.0.
  14. What may make this make sense to me is if they go with a weapon on offense at 6. Try and sneak up in back of round 1 for Milroe. Let him sit and develop for a year or two behind Geno. Not that I think Milroe is going to be great in the NFL, but he may have a shot if he's got basically a red shirt year this year. Pete hid Wilson for years. I could see it
  15. Raiders...what are you doing?!?!? A 3rd for Geno with nothing but a TE to throw to is crazy....
  16. Able to play, yes. But not as good as in zone IMO. The number that would make sense for a contract for him on a primary man team isn't as high to make it worthwhile IMO.
  17. Good guess. Shane Bowen was his DC for 3 years as well. He's now the DC for the Giants which would put them possibly in play as well
  18. I would. Best case sce, SVPG works out and they can slide McGovern back to LG. Worst case they have the C position covered moving forward. His position flexibility makes him a value. Thinking out even further before long it will be Torrence coming due. I have been HUGE Torrence guy since before he was drafted...but has he done enough to earn a second contract with Buffalo? He's been inconsistent. Shown flashes. But it would be nice to have McGovern in house if they decide to let him walk. Would give the Bills a lot more flexibility on who gets resigned moving forward.
  19. Excellent post. And something that should be common knowledge by most. Yet the internet is a place for knee jerk reaction...not sensible thought.
  20. Was a partially torn pectoral muscle and he came back for the playoffs in excellent fashion. Looked like he's at full health.
  21. FWIW: Allen came back for the playoffs and recorded 10 pressures and 8 QB hurries with one sack in the playoffs. He was also very solid vs the run. Was borderline dominant against the Lions. This guy instantly upgrades our IDL...and doesn't count against the comp pick formula. No draft assets have to be used to acquire. Would help keep Bernard clean. Locker room leader type. Would be a VERY solid signing.
  22. Sanders dropping to 29 with all the QB needy teams out there is laughable. I don't think he will be good, but some team will pounce if he's there much earlier than that. Overall this is a horrible mock. If it broke this way I would look to move up for Mike Green (taken at 28 lol) or back into the 2nd for extra picks....
  23. I like Benford a lot. Great value for the place he was picked at. However if signs that have pointed to us moving to play more of a man to man defense are true, he's worth less to us than he would be in a zone scheme IMO. The number he may seek may not match up to the output we get in the future. If we move to more of a man scheme, I'm ok letting him test the market.
