The kicker is Matt Prater. Long time NFL vet. Was a very good kicker for a long time. Used to have a huge leg, not sure if he still does at 41 years old. Signing someone like Prater over just brining back the guy they had in TC or another young guy makes me think Bass is having a really bad go of it from a health standpoint.

It's becoming a trend for owners to sell small percentages of the team. It's basically free money for the owners. Look for some kind of celebrity or former athlete to be on the team of investors. Seems to be a trend there too. Good opportunity for the celebs/former athlete and it lets the franchise parade them in front of cameras.

With us likely missing Tre and Mad Max, plus the two PED guys, plus possibly Keon and a few I'm probably forgetting at the moment....I don't feel bad at all they may be without their TE2.

Honestly, I find it even more pathetic when Jet fans bring up Super Bowl III. The only glory those fans know is that their Grandpa saw the Jets win a Super Bowl before it was even considered a major deal. And they have been arse pretty much since. At the very least I can say I, personally, saw my team play in four Super Bowls. I don't have to try and take credit for my Grandpa's glory.

I truly hate this game for us. I think we start off slow and the Ravens take advantage. Sloppy, ugly week 1 game. I think the goal for the Ravens is to show Lamar should have been the MVP. He's going to be let loose. The biggest difference in this game is Josh and our offense HAVE to play the Baltimore defense, while Lamar GETS to face ours. Buffalo-16 Baltimore-38

I've been big on Bosa doing well since he signed. I will stay with him on defense. On offense, the heath of Dalton Kincaid. If he stays healthy we should see a nice jump from him. And on more then just those screen plays.

Was not a fan of Davis by the time he left. Thought he had too big a role for the lack of consistent success he had. But on the practice squad? I'm good with that. I never want to see him as a main cog on offense...but having a guy that was a recent starter for us sitting on the practice squad is never a bad thing. Maybe he still has a big game or two left in him.

This is like your 10 speed bike popped a tire, so you run out and buy a Harley. Typically, I don't see teams replace a DT5 with a former pro bowl level player. The math doesn't math here. That's not even to mention that he seems to be someone that causes issues in the locker room and has a few screws loose. Hard pass on this head case.

I'm not sure about this. Jackson is probably a better duel threat. His running is off the charts and he's come a long way as a passer. Got to give him credit for that. The guy is phenomenal. But he doesn't play the QB position as well as Allen and Josh isn't a slouch when it comes to running the ball either. Allen/Jackson is a "push" in my view. The big difference here is that Allen has to face the Ravens defense. Jackson gets to face ours. The King has been probably the best RB of his generation. But Cook is a top 5-8 back and is still improving. Henry has without a doubt been the better back...but he is 31 and has absorbed a lot of punishment in his career. He can only stiff arm Father Time for so long. Henry HAS been the better back in the past but will he still be in the year 2025? Remains to be seen.

I think if he stays healthy he's going to be impressive. One thing he does really well that blends with Josh, is the way he gets open when the play breaks down. He's a great "street ball" WR. I think he's going to be HUGE in those type plays. If he plays in all 17 games he would only need to average just under 59 yards a game for 1,000 yards. That's definitely possible. I'll say he ends up over that threshold.

This is someone I would definitely kick the tires on. Good amount of experience and would fit the D. Would definitely upgrade the quality of the depth. Has played on STs as well.

Things like that happen pretty often here. Typically, during prime time games I like to be on the boards of whoever is playing. Kinda monitor what their fans think in real time. Last year more often then not the thread here would have more pages than the sites for the teams actually playing. Don't know if that's a good thing (we are active! Yay!) or a bad thing (there's nothing better to do, we have no lives)....but it's A thing lol
