  1. So, McD should be fired for trading the Mahomes pick even though Mahomes wouldn't have been as good in Buffalo as he is in KC. I'm betting if that scenario played out your stance would be that McDermott should be fired because his handpicked QB in Mahomes wasn't progressing as quickly as that Josh Allen guy in Kansas City that keeps winning Super Bowls and he should have waited a year for the QB.
  2. Not for nothing, but Breece did have almost 1,600 yards from scrimmage and 9TDs while playing behind a terrible OL. Coming off the injury bhe did I'd say that was pretty special (and IMO should have gathered more Comeback Player of the Year attention than Joe Flacco).
  3. I have literally not insulted you once. You have, however resulted to namecalling. I've actually gone out of my way to say how I'm not insulting you. No personal attacks. It's weird to lie like that. You can reply to this or not. Makes no difference. I'll just add you to the ignore list and *poof*. Like a miracle you disappear.
  4. You do realize in today's day and age you can stream pretty much anything from pretty much anywhere? And I don't understand the name calling. I specifically said I wasn't referring to you as a blowhard. I mean, I'm starting to think that if your hearing comprehension is as terrible as your reading comprehension you may just not be as informed as you claim. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  5. This is now the second time that unprompted you felt the need to tell me you are "better informed"...without ever taking a moment to ponder where and from whom I get my information from. Now, I'm not by any means a young man anymore. However, through age often times comes wisdom. Life lessons, so to speak. One of the most accurate life lessons I have learned is that the individual that has to publicly crow about how much more they know than everyone else more times than not is the least knowledgeable person in the room. Often times they are just a loudmouth blowhard. Now, I'm absolutely not saying that this applies to you as we have never met in person to my knowledge and it's impossible to form accurate opinions on a person from online interactions. So, definitely not saying that you are in fact a loudmouth nor a blowhard. But it would be very interesting to meet in person and see if this theory holds true.
  6. Ok, so being spoonfed NYC media's opinions makes you better informed. Got it. That really helps me know how seriously to take your response. Thanks for saving my time here.
  7. Wilson also showed growth and maturity last season in the way he handled his benchings. Took full blame. Complete 180 from the year before. Jet insiders have said multiple times how well liked he now is inside the locker room. And sorry, if you can't see they way they messed up the dudes confidence with all the "benched, unbenched" they played with him and by hiring that idiot Hackett...I don't know what to tell ya.
  8. I agree with this assessment. I do think not only coaching but improvement in protection can help elevate him. Behind that Jet line he's been used to having no time to progress reads. For lack of a better term he sees ghosts even in a clean pocket. Hard to blame him there. I also think that both his OCs have tried to fit him into their offense rather than see what he does do well and tailor playcalling to that.
  9. Honestly, I know this will be unpopular but I would consider having him here as QB3 and see if the improvement in coaching and talent around him can help rebuild him. And I think being in the room with Josh would give him a different approach. Maybe turns into a good backup.
  10. This is where you see what kind of an idiot Johnson is. First off, I fully acknowledge that Wilson has looked bad. No argument. However, they picked him so high because they saw some talent in him. And truthfully, that potential is still there IMO. They have done nothing but jerk the kid around almost refusing to give him proper grooming. They stuck him behind one of the worst OLs I have ever seen and then blamed Wilson for not winning. They messed this kid up. While he was never going to be a Mahomes or Allen, they totally destroyed any shot of him being a decent NFL starter. Then on top of it, they go ahead and the owner says something like this that eliminated any (small) value Wilson still had on the way out. No wonder Wilson reportedly wasn't interested in playing the last few games for the Jets. I really hope he ends up somewhere that can help him recalibrate a bit.
  11. As long as he didn't place a bet on the outcome of the in home squabble this should end up in the "Von Miller" department of the NFL legal system.
  12. I get ya. However, to play devil's advocate for a moment.... How many championships do the Chiefs have with say, Mitch Trubisky? How many wins in a season do the Bills have without Josh Allen? We all know it takes more than a QB to win and wins shouldn't be solely a QB stat. That makes all the sense in the world being as much of a team sport as it is. Yet, QB is still the most important factor in it and it isn't particularly close.
  13. Ok. And I agree with that. Players like Marino, Kelly, Warren Moon., Barry Sanders, Larry Fitzgerald..all great without them. Then again, when you add the MVPs, the numbers and the things he's accomplished during his time as a starter thus far it at the very minimum makes it a conversation. I mean, win or lose Sunday with what he's done this far he's at minimum a HoF QB and on the first ballot even if he never takes another snap in the NFL in my opinion.
  14. Just a question without passing judgement. Would your feelings be different if it was the Bills going for their third ring this weekend with Allen being a 2 time MVP and the same was being said? No wrong answer.
  15. Cook is a very talented player. Not debating that at all. But putting him into the same sentence as CMC is laughable. Cook has all the skill to be a productive, useful and popular player. But he's someone that's destined to fall back into a committee backfield unless he can clean up: -Drops -Fumbles -And just as important: Pass Protection There are going to be several guys that could be an inexpensive #2 RB that would make sense for the Bills to sign. Possible FAs this year include familiar faces (Zach Moss and Motor) as well as guys that have past success against the Bills (CEH: who also has spent time with Joe Brady). Wouldn't shock me if one of them are back to take some responsibility off Cook. I definitely think Cook has a prominent role on the offense, but seems like he's a guy that may be able to be more explosive with fewer touches (similar to the Dolphins Achane)
  16. They haven't and I feel like if they were going to it would have been done by now
  17. Welcome Coach Addae. Let me be the first to say "Fire Addae"
  18. That looks like our new QB Coach/ OC in waiting. Seems to be successful. Can't wait for the "Fire Brady make Curry OC" posts after preseason game 2.
  19. I actually think it makes sense to do both. Grab a guy like Mooney that can contribute early in the season and let the rookie figure it out. Even a guy like Rice for KC took a while this season to catch on. From my perspective, the NFL these days is about mismatches. IMO this is why so many teams with good TEs made it deep in the playoffs this year. Kelce, LaPorta, Kittle and Andrews/Likely are all top notch. I think drafting Kincaid last year softens the need (just a tad) for us to need a rookie to step in and produce right away. IMO whoever lines up at the WR2 spot should be the third option behind Diggs and Kincaid anyway. But do agree, we need something more than what we have had there and someone that can step in when Stefon is taken out of a game.
  20. Very solid thoughts and ideas, but again it boils down to "we don't know what we don't know" Right now, yes looks like a meager FA with the cap space. But when it's all said and done they will make moves and open money for who they want. As you say this draft is deep at WR, which is why I'm ok if they wait until round 2 to fill that spot with someone that fits well. I think we see them sign someone like Darnell Mooney. Not top level, but a guy that has had 1,000 hard season before and has had some issues since. Could be a bargain. And (not that they are players I advocate for) I still can't shake the feeling that guys like Donovan Peoples-Jones and Devin Duvernay will be on their radar as well. As far as moves they can make that would change our draft needs, there's still room for that as well especially with the round 4-7 picks.
  21. Dugger is the guy I've been screaming for so far this off season. That said, he may end up out of our price range. Spotrac has his market valued at $16.5M a year on a 4 year $66M contract. I personally don't think he hits that, but I'd love for him to be here if it doesn't. Some other names at Safety: Geno Stone Kameron Curl Jordan Whitehead Most realistic IMO: Taylor Rapp being back
  22. Articles like this are soooooo phoney. Passes off and presented as factual, however it's all speculation. Key statements: -"that supposedly Arthur Blank was bought in to Bill Belichick and could have offered him the job,” -“I don’t know why guys say no, but legitimately an NFL executive basically told me that they believe that Arthur Blank offered Bill the job. Now there may have been some caveats to that offer" - "The way it was made and sounded to me was like ‘OK, I understand your concerns, but you’re gonna have to deal with some of this and we want you to come in, we want you to be the coach,’ and then maybe he just thought better of it,” Esiason said.
  23. Nothing in this list is drastically wrong. But a bit early to project it IMO. Let's see what the roster looks like after FA. List will certainly be addressed there in parts as well.
  24. Meanwhile, in Buffalo, Sean McDermott is scouring all kickers for one with a wrestling background.
