  1. Honestly Josh is one of those guys that are just sickeningly good at whatever they try. Like I would GUARANTEE the first time her tried bowling he broke 150 and had a turkey.
  2. I'll agree that Allen could have been ruined by the Jets. But I also think much of the reason for his success was his inner desire to improve and the work he did with Jordan Palmer. I don't think Palmer gets enough credit for Allen's progression.
  3. He's a 6'5" almost 240 pound man that can run through you, around you, over you or leap you. He may even be the world's first human/buffalo hybrid. Someone need to check his DNA. He can throw passes that make you look silly. And he will tell you all about it. I'd hate him if I had to play him too. Could you imagine the alternate timeline where the Jets actually took him instead of Sam Darnold? We would hate the dude so much.
  4. That paper has been on the downswing since Larry Felser retired.
  5. While you're correct in saying that NFL teams have to take each other seriously and not overlooking opponents....that doesn't have a darn thing to do with how FANS are allowed to view things. I also agree that basing your enjoyment level on a Super Bowl win is absurd. Mainly because we have no hand in the outcome. Even a day where the good guys lose in the scoreboard can be a fantastic day spent with friends and family making memories. So while it's ok to have fun win or lose and just enjoy the wonder that is Josh Allen and this version of the Bills....it's really ok to have independent thoughts about how they could be better. How and where they improve. There's no sense in gatekeeping how others view the game. So, perhaps after spending my life watching 4 straight Super Bowl losses and 17 years of missing the playoffs, it's reasonable that come Sunday's nowadays, I go into the game with expectations. Because this franchise has become that good.
  6. Milton Williams being out would be really good for us.
  7. Agree. He's the worst one on the Thursday night panel by far. I disliked Richard Sherman as a player, but even he's pretty good as a talking head IMO.
  8. Wooden? Bah, that thing is gonna cause splinters. Couldn't even spring for something like carbo fiber? Ralph....uh ...I mean Terry is cheap.
  9. I really like Whit. Good in front of the camera and comes across as an overall likable dude. Would definitely drink a beer with that dude.
  10. I was pretty vocal last week on having Gore active against the Saints to see what he could do. I stand by that. The thing about the RB position is you earn snaps and carries based on performance. Not only in games but in practice and the film room. His usage would suggest he has not done that. There are backs that need a few touches to get into the flow of the game and he may be one. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen when you play behind a guy like Cook. So find someone that doesn't need that. We NEED someone that can absorb 5-8 touches a game to lighten Cooks load. But those touches have to be positive plays...not whatever it is Davis is doing. We have now had Baby Gore in the building for over a year. I'd say let him show what he can do.
  11. Yes. Obviously, KJ Hamler is the key.
  12. Through 4 games I see no reason to switch back to Bass. And with how he's done here so far this year if we do make the switch and cut Prater, with the way kicking goes around the NFL he will be on another teams roster fairly quickly IMO. I wouldn't risk it. Keep Prater. Give Bass the chance to fully heal. Next year, bring in a kicker to compete with Bass. At the very least it saves wear and tear on his hip.
  13. It's the "Fantasy Football Syndrome". People see his box score and don't see the productivity. They don't get what a guy like Knox brings to the team Monday through Saturday and all the dirty little jobs he does do on a Sunday. Agree. He's more of a locker room guy than an on field asset at this point. And you do need those guys in the locker room. I don't think many people have an issue with Knox as a player, but rather what the Bills are paying him, so some kind of restructure would be nice to take some heat off him. Based on his usage and touches so far this season, the coaching staff doesn't. That's why he's barely seeing the field. While we don't know what Gore can do in actual NFL games yet, I wouldn't think he would be a step back from what we have seen out of Davis so far this year. At least Gore shows he can find a hole, unlike Magoo Davis.
  14. Pats keep it close as Buffalo struggles to contain the run. Diggs with a few nice plays. Maye continues to show he can play in this league. But at some point in the second half, Josh and Jimbo will get a few big plays of their own. I like the matchup of our TEs against their poor LB core. I see a close game until the 4th quarter where Buffalo puts it away and wins by double digits yet again. Bills-33 Patriots- 23
  15. Really? Their defense isn't the 85 Bears. They are 26th against the pass. Josh/Shakir/Kincaid should have big days.
  16. Punters should wear a full suit of armor. Head out on the field looking like they are about to joust someone.
  17. The funniest thing is, Sanders reportedly told the Ravens NOT to draft him because he didn't wanna sit behind Lamar. Fast forward to week 5. Lamar expected to miss a couple games and even though Flacco got benched...Sanders is still 3rd string emergency QB only.
  18. Yeah, I don't care about what some other dudes All 22 says. I watched the game and to my eyes every time I saw him he was getting beat so bad Tyreek Hill tried to adopt him
  19. I think something else complicates it even further. Somehow, Dalton Kincaid became a pretty solid blocker as well. No, he's not as good as Hawes but he's no longer that far behind Knox IMO. And he adds more as a receiver than Knox. It's harder to take him off the field than it used to be even on running plays.
  20. I think Hawes is going to push Joe Brady into using even more 3 TE sets. And with our roster of WRs that may actually be a good thing.
  21. But is he a good holder?
  22. The empathy by some here for a person that abused his pregnant girlfriend, broke his son's arm abused his spouse numerous times among other many rounds of abuse against others is weird. Its ok to not be sad when terrible things happen to terrible humans.
  23. I mean at some point Buffalo has to sign Brad Wing. The jersey sells itself in this town.
  24. I throw Jared Goff in the mix. Guy was the QB on a Ramsey Super Bowl team that lost. Then it seemed he was scapegoated and shipped out of town. Rams brought Stafford in and won the big game...but Stafford wasn't the reason. LA would have won that if Goff was the QB IMO.
