At this point I'd trade his rights to the Jets for a bag of deflated footballs and last years Geno Smith practice jersey. If he came out and said he was retiring because of a change in focus from what he was promised...fine. But if he was using the horrid acts in Charlottesville as a cover...yea can't respect that.

Always liked Spiller. Provided some really awesome moments for some less than stellar teams. Still have his jersey. But no, father time caught up to him a few years back and really whooped him.

Only way he's starting is due to injuries. Siemian is solid. Doesn't make mistakes often, is smart with the ball and accurate. He's no threat to put up Drew Brees numbers, but he will give them a chance to win playing smart ball and relying on the defense. Lynch has more upside, though I don't personally believe he will ever see it.

He went out, made his money and now he's in Denver until Lunch is healthy...then betting he's released again.

Maybe McDonalds forgot his hash brown in drive thru. That's always a bummer.

Overrated: Peterman. He's a rookie 5th round pick. Against 2nd, 3rd and some 4th stringers he completed 50% of his passed before last night. Don't get me wrong. I like the kid. I just don't see him as a future franchise guy. I see him more as a good solid long term backup. I think the absolute worst thing that could happen and he show just well enough for us to pass on acquiring a top QB in the draft...only to come crashing down once tape on him is available and teams actually game plan against him. Underrated: Hauschka. Just a solid reliable kicker with a big leg. Finally I don't get panicked when we kick an extra point.

He's not very good at football. But his last name is fun to say. Still, think I'd take him over Yates/Wenning.

John Greco, Browns OG. Solid player. Not sure if he fits blocking scheme here but I'd take a flier. Had Lifrac surgery but is supposed to be healthy now

Can't sleep on the Jets defense. Their offense I'm expecting to be really awful. Even worse against our defense. I'm expecting a 23-6 type game that seems closer than the score.

So THAT'S why he wouldn't sign my Pyle jersey...

A couple possible. A real surprise would be Reilly. Maybe they think they can sneak him onto the PS. Don't think it would work out. Maybe they feel like Taiwan Jones can be the return guy while also being a gunner and helping other ways and Tate is waived. Not what I would do but... surprise! I think the biggest shocker will be Yates is cut, Wenning is kept. Wenning makes 53, then gets cut for someone on waiver wire. Maybe Dareus is traded. Beane loves trades and is looking for picks...maybe he gets a pick and player. Dallas or Cincy would be my guess.

Up to this point in the preseason Peterman has looked "OK". Not great. Nowhere near how someone like Dak looked last year. Naming a starter based off how well they show in a meaningless 4th preseason game is about as bad of a decision as naming your starter for the playoffs off how a QB looks in a meaningless week 17 game. And no NFL franchise would do something THAT silly....right?
