  1. I see SOMEONE picked up my ex-wife on Ladies Night.
  2. Can almost guarantee him hitting a key punt against the Raiders then getting an unsportsmanlike penalty. ?
  3. Hopefully public ridicule is part of the process.
  4. Belichick will trade Brady for Hogan. He will be called a genius.
  5. Virgil, if you want the Giants I as the Cleveland owner will offer to share pick 4 and the 1st second rounder we have with Whatdrought. That way more people can play. Either way is fine for me. Just let me know what you guys want ?
  6. I agree with the though of the Giants beefing up the lines and Gettleman has repeatedly said at 2 he would want a perspective HoF caliber player. That leads me to believe he's eyeing (or trying to give the impression) Nelson. But 2 is a tad high for a guard by most standards. And I agree that that's something they may do as well. Spread out and improve all around. If we didn't need a QB that's what I'd hope the Bills would do.
  7. Here's my unsolicited theory. I'll put it here rather than make a new thread. I firmly believe that the Pats are armed and ready to make a move up the draft board. But not for a QB. In my mind Belichick can see, as we all can that there will be an early rush on QBs near the top. A great thing for a team that has a QB because this pushes other (and more all around talented) players down the board a bit. By acquiring that 2nd 1st along with what they already had just the 2 first could in theory move them at or near top 10. Throw in a 2nd or 2 and they could in theory move to the 7-10 range. Why would they set up like this? I think they have their eyes on a big time defender after giving up 41 to Nick Foles. Draft could easily play out like this: 1. Cle- Allen 2. NYG- Darnold 3. Jets- Rosen 4. Cle- Barkley 5. Den- Nelson 6. **Trade** Buffalo- Mayfield With Indy getting a plethora of picks to move this would open up the Pats to move way up for Chubb. Belichick seemed to like Chubb at his Pro Day, even guided him through some drills personally. Made the remark "Well, we pick at 31 so good luck to you". And the move will be hailed as genius as Belichick took advantage of the QB market to grab a top guy that slid down. Just my opinion.
  8. He does. Did you know that one of them plays in the NFL? He's a TE, I think.
  9. I was going to respond with something elegant explaining that anyone could have signed up from the time OP posted, and that this draft was talked about by the people that signed up for the last one(again was open to all) but it's just easier to say ?
  10. Tevita Tuliakiono Tuipuloto Mosese Va'hae Faletau Vea. The Saints game still gives me nightmares.
  11. Atrocious. I was hoping at the very least the flaming thumbtack would get replaced.
  12. I would like back in, but id like to move from the Bengals to the Browns if possible.
  13. https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2016/03/11/browns-release-johnny-manziel-homeless-man-draft Scouts didn't want him. Haslim was "inspired" by some homeless guy. Trump weighs in on Johnny...
  14. They are also the Browns that were terribly bad for a long stretch of time. They fell victim to The Drive and The Fumble, much like the Ravens fell victim to The Play last year courtesy of Dalton. While the Browns did have success long ago, the Ravens have had more current success. And after falling apart Browns style last year and signing an ex Browns QB...
  15. Ahhh Baltimore. Sooner or later we knew your franchise roots would show...and you would slowly but surely morph into the Browns.
  16. I believe trades upwards are over until the draft itself. Doesn't benefit the Bills to panic and overpay and doesn't benefit the Giants/Browns/Broncos/Bucs to take a trade now instead of seeing what may happen.
  17. 9. He's planning on making 9 **** threads today.
  18. No, actually I'm calling it the way I see it. He has Brian Daboll as his OC. Dave Culley as a QB coach. A defensive minded HC. Not exactly the best situation for a rookie QB needing work to step into imo. I have a nice grasp on what this team is...but the team doesn't help him with footwork, progressions, work on accuracy. He needs solid offensive coaching to do that. Not to mention his best trait perhaps is his ability to flick the ball 70-80 yards...and at this time we aren't exactly stacked with speed. As I said before, good kid, has a chance to succeed but imo he a square peg with a round hole here in Buffalo.
  19. For his work with WRs. This is true. He's a solid WR coach. And to play devils advocate...you're right. We don't know what Allen was asked to do. He may have been asked to do far less in that case as well. Seems like a good kid though...and I do think he can do well in the right situation. I just don't feel like we have what he would need to thrive here.
  20. Yup. But you're a complete project you need a good situation to go to. IMO if Allen went to the Giants where he can sit and learn from Eli and Shurmer for a few years he would have a better chance. He comes here behind a not too entrenched starter in AJ, a questionable QB coach and a defensive minded HC? Not a good place for him.
  21. If Buffalo moves to 2 for Josh Allen it's a horrible mistake. Allen needs tons of work. We have a WR coach as our QB coach. Doesn't exactly scream being set up for success.
  22. Oh I do. I don't like Josh Rosen's face. I think he's going to be a fine QB. But it's like you took Eli Manning and Aaron Rodgers and smashed their faces together to make some mutant QB. Should he be named Aaron Manning? Eli Rodgers? I don't know. Forget his refusal to run a 40. I want to see if Lamar Jackson can punt the ball. That's right. Punt. If he can do that I will be convinced he's just a Randall Cunningham clone made in a lab from hair off Cunningham's hairbrush. Waffles are much better than pancakes. Josh Allen's eyes are too low on his face. His eye level is closer to a 6'1" QB. Just a prediction here. Mike White will be a better NFL QB than Mason Rudolph.
  23. I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees this coming.
