They must both be vaccinated if they were at the game. Quite a leap to assume a transmission from Beasley to his wife to Allen's girlfriend to Allen himself, especially when 3 people in that chain are fully vaccinated.

Honestly would not shock me if it was something that wasn't enforced for player's family members.

Wasnt there a whole thing about people saying things to him face to face and him and Feliciano making a whole deal about it?

Yes, there was. Ironically also during the weeks of a HUGE game (Kansas City).

  3. I saw this and my mind registered it as Bashaud Breeland.

Speaks is young (26) with decent size. Former Chief draft pick. Has served 1 suspension for substance abuse in 2019.

Floated around practice squads of Raiders, Cowboys and Giants since.

Judge production however you want to judge it.

When it comes to receivers, my primary measuring stick is do they get open and catch the ball.

The stats say unequivocally that Beasley does that exceptionally well.       So well in fact, that if you look at the guys who had more catches than him this year, you will see that Beasley is fourth or fifth on the list for completion percentages.    He gets open and catches the ball.    In fact, he does it better than a lot of well known players NFL fans drool over like Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen, Davante Adams, etc.

Beasley is a way above average receiver.   And it is remarkable he outperforms much larger receivers with a larger catching radius.

So basically you are tap dancing around answering the question I asked.

Couldn't care less about Hill, Adams, Kelce et all. But I can mention other players too.

Earlier in the season the Cardinals lost Kylar for a couple games. They still won. Team sport. You don't have to have a 1:1 swap. Production can come from many areas. And even be a cumulative stat. It's ridiculous to think that any WR (even Diggs) is completely irreplaceable.

Hey, remeber when we lost Tre? Defense seems to be skipping along. People step up.

You are gonna lose it when he's a cap cut this offseason 😂

this news makes me sad, we could have used him in new england .............NEXT MAN UP

    SMH

Amen Muppy! This isn't the Buffalo Beasleys. Davis, McKenzie....perhaps Stevenson all need to and have the ability to step up.

We lost Tre and Dane Jackson has stepped up. Good teams find a way.

    His production is replaceable?

He has the 16th most receptions this year in the NFL among receivers and he is not the Bills' number 1 receiver.

In other words, he has more catches than half the rest of the NFL teams' starting number 1 receiver.

Good luck replacing that kind of production.    I bet it doesn't happen.    If it was that easy, more teams would be doing it.

    https://www.nfl.com/stats/player-stats/category/receiving/2021/reg/all/receivingreceptions/desc

If this is a bad year for him, how good is he in a good year?

Dude is money.   He produces.    Yes he is a dick - a dick that produces.

So, let me ask this. Honestly. If Cole has 10 catches for 70 yards that's a solid game from him right?

If Davis (who has barely been seeing the field) steps in and gets 6 catches for 70 yards...is that not replacing production? Also understand that other players may see a spike in targets.

Beasley is good at getting separation...no doubt. But he is not the "irreplaceable force" many make him out to be. We have seen him while playing injured disappear for entire games. Wheels keep going. It's nice when he's out there and an asset...absolutely. But his production is definitely replacable.

If the Bills rolled the Panthers after the second half they had vs. TB, I'd be again concerned that the Bills think they have figured it out.

I said the same (and was lambasted here) after the Miami & NYJ games, where I thought the results were what I'd call false positives and the NO game where all were pretty up about the offense and defense.

A little struggle vs. Carolina at home should be another wake-up call to the Bills that there is work to be done.

Now let them get redemption vs. NE!!!!!

How many "wake up calls" do they need? That should have come week 1 when they lost at home to a 137 year old man.

Anyone that hasn't "woken up" after losing to Jacksonville or a team that threw 3 passes isn't asleep....they just aren't talented.

  8. It's not a bad idea. The other thread gets bogged down with discussion and arguments so any news/injury list gets somewhat burried. However, seems like they discussion will just travel over here.

Maybe a locked sticky with only the tweets/news/updates for quicker view/read through?

Meh - not likely a long term fix for the Iggles

No, not likely. But happy the kid will get an opportunity. What he does with it remains to be seen...but at least he gets a much higher paycheck and perhaps sets himself up for a full time backup job. Best of luck to the kid.

Yo..i can't with your evaluation of this guy, It's generally so off base. He is not as mobile as other QBs obviously, but there is plenty of film where he has either moved up in the pocket or ran out of the pocket, got rid of the ball, or made the following play after throwing an Int. or sacked good. Please stop with these non factual post about the guy. This has to be how it was when Brady first started out on forums such as this.

This is NOT going to be a popular assessment on this board...but I think it's about as fair as I can see it.

When he first led the Pats to a Super Bowl and beat the "Greatest Show of Turf"...I was glad to see it. Truth be hold, that was the story every young boy pretended to play out on their back yards when playing football. Unheralded and unknown young QB taking over for an injured Pro Bowl QB, leading a mostly pathetic franchise to a World Championship. Seeing it played out at the time was one of the greatest sports stories ever told.

But then he won again. And he kept winning. People got sick of it (and some of that was simple jealousy it wasn't their team doing it). People got sick of seeing the 90s Bills for somewhat the same reason. The "Them AGAIN?!?!" feeling.

I used to hate Brady. Truth is...it's not his fault that Buffalo couldn't field a competitive team for 20 years. He didn't hire Dick Jauron, Chan Gailey, Malarkey, Marrone, Rex. Tom Brady didn't draft EJ Manual, JP Losman, Trent Edwards. I can say I have actually enjoyed watching him in Tampa.

Cycle forward to Mac Jones. Are there similarities? I think so. Are they "the same"? Not at all.  Mac is, right now very good at playing "Patriot Ball". Play within what McDaniels asks him to do. He's a good kid, seems very smart with a plus football IQ. He doesn't have Josh Allen's arm...but he doesn't need to. He is not spectacular. He may or may not turn into that guy.

It's likely he walks away this year with the RoY. What happens in years 2, 3, 4 remains to be seen. He has some potential to be really solid. Could also make a case that like Baker Mayfield he was already close to his ceiling as a QB. That's why we keep tuning in. To see what happens next. Me? I'm not afraid of competition. The whole "iron sharpens iron" philosophy. So a Patriot team that can keep the Bills from getting complacent is a good thing in my view....just have to hope our guys win the majority😂

I thought the opposite. Pittsburgh scored on their last 3 possessions while Baltimore couldn't get anything going offensively in the 4th quarter. They also lost their top CB. Pittsburgh was at home and really feeding off the crowd, they certainly had more energy. I had no issues with the 2 pt attempt.

The reverse was true yesterday. They just stuffed GB on their last 2 possessions, while the Ravens marched down the field and scored on their last 2 drives. It really felt like GB was worn down and now Bal was taking over (with some help from the crowd).

    Valid points as well.

With both I think I'm more ok with them going for it if they had a more practical play called.

Trusting Lamar's arm in the 1st is a "Meh" call IMO. Just like rolling Huntley out and limiting him to half a field. Didn't play into either's strong suits.

Since the OP was “favorite QBs”, I’m on the fence on Ferguson.   He may be #3 when it comes to stats, but All those interceptions and then hanging his head walking off the field makes it hard for me to call him a favorite.

I think I’m Allen over Kelly at this point because of the better attitude and relationship with teammates., plus his overall abilities.

For men, Fergy was a favorite because he was the QB when I was old enough to really umderstand football and be a Bills fan. It's more a sentimental choice. Those teams back then...with Cribbs, Butler, Lewis, Smerlas, Haslett hold a special place for me.

  13. This week I could almost see the logic of liking his chances better to convert a short yardage play VS playing Rodgers in OT...if ot goes to OT. 42 seconds and a TO...Rodgers could work with that.

Last week in a lower scoring game and you have Justin Tucker...odds are probably better at stopping Ben and kicking a long game winner.

In both games I don't think Roman called a very good play.

Yep, there is no doubt about it. Covid will have an influence in these final few weeks.

Agree. That's way even games at home against Atlanta and the Jets are far from stone cold locks. Someone is gonna be nipped at the end because of being short manned. May be happening to Cleveland tonight.

All three just placed on the Covid list.

So far it's no one that's we can't live without (however speedy recovery wished for all!)

Hope it doesn't get worse this week...

The NFL in general just put pretty much 70% of fantasy relevant players in the last today. This is spiraling fast.
