  1. Iron Man, Captain America, Kiko Alonso and Spiderman wear Croom pajamas...
  2. Is Mike Tice still coming here to coach, Don?
  3. Ivory has looked good today. Oline can block for the run at least.
  4. If we still had Kiko we wouldn't have McCoy. No McCoy no playoffs last year
  5. Told myself I wasn't drinking this morning. Then this thread happened.
  6. Met this dude a couple times when he was here. First time we talked about non football things for about 10 minutes. 3 or 4 months later he actually saw me, came up and continued the conversation. Cool dude and would be awesome to tailgate with imo.
  7. Follow the money. There is no way even an idiot like Davis hands Gruden that large and that long of a contract without handing him the reigns. And I don't believe Gruden leaves his cushy TV job without being in control.
  8. It was "Billy Joe Hobert" level bad for sure. I will freely eat crow here and say I was FIRMLY on the Brohm bandwagon. ?
  9. Brian Brohm was cut and resigned by the Bills 317 times during the 2009-2010 seasons. I think it was that many. Felt like it at least.
  10. Good luck to him. Just signed and now retired. Guess he wins the "Anquan Boldin Award" for this years training camp.
  11. Spero Dedes sounds like a really bad Star Wars name.
  12. Actually think the Saints would be a great fit after Brees retires.
  13. Here is I believe a fair question. How well is Hue supposed to do with the roster hes had for 2 seasons in Cleveland? I am in no way saying Hue is a great coach, but get crap groceries and you make a crap meal. This is a guy that many forget went 8-8 in Oakland (after a 7-4 start) with a roster much worse than what he has now. Jason Campbell made starts that season for them. Kessler, Kiser and Hogan were his QBs last year. Not really sure even the great and powerful Hoodie could cheat a win or 2 out of those guys.
  14. I hear Andy Dalton is so happy for Allen hes coming all the way in from Cincinnati to watch. What a swell fella.
  15. That defense is stacked. They have fantastic depth at key positions. Tyrod just has to be Tyrod for them to do well. Not turn the ball over. Pick up some yards with his legs. Hit Njoku and Landry short and hand the ball to 2 very good RBs and a promising rookie. Unlike Dream Teams of the past where the idea was to just collect talentd players, thr Browns have done a nice job of finding talent in areas that fit their system. While I do not expect a Jacksonville type turnaround from them, 6-8 wins are absolutely possible. They get a few breaks here and there and yes, I can see them in playoff contention late in the season.
  16. Add into this he lost Tony Sparano who he was reported to be very close with. That can trigger a ton of emotion. Add in his career pretty much ending plus stuff we don't know about...yea Cogs needs some help.
  17. Who, me? Of course not fine sir. And please stop calling me Shirley...
  18. CTE is a helluva injury...
  19. Well, over the length of his career Ryan has been a top half of the league punter. Consistent. Schmidt has kicked in the swirling Buffalo wind for a few seasons now and may have a....leg up....in the competition. If all evens out I have to think whoever handles Haush's balls best will get a crack to slip in.
  20. Scraps, yes. But I fully believe Ivory will have a role on this offense. Look at how NE uses their backs. We Will be running an offense much like that I believe. Yes, we have the crown jewel in McCoy that can, handle both roles as early down and 3 down back, but I believe Ivory will work near the goal line, short yardage and other role specific areas.
  21. 26 carries 53 yards. That was what they held the Panthers to in the first preseason game. While I absolutely did not like what I saw against the Browns, I can't help to think that the contrast proves that we really don't know what will happen come week 1. I tend to believe we will be better then last week and not quite as good against the run as the first game.
  22. Honest and pretty solid thought process. I agree. However if I'm guessing which team wins more games over the next 5 years...my bet would be Buffalo.
  23. I went with the 701-900 option for a few reasons. 1. Preseason soft tissue injuries can sometimes linger and have a negative impact all year. 2. We havr a few games this season wherr I would expect we will need to throw the ball more. I can see a few games where his impact is as a receiver in come back mode as opposed to a rusher. 3. Murphy. Yea, I'll be that guy. If Murphy keeps up the way he did at the end of last year and through camp and preseason he will have earned a few extra touches a game. Some may come at the expense of Ivory but (especially if the groin issue does linger) I can see him cutting into Shadys workload by the end of the year. Not by tons, but enough to cost McCoy 100-200 yards on the season.
