  1. I have watched some of his play this year. He looked pretty good against Detroit and pretty serviceable against the Jets. I don't think he's going to be a superstar by any means, but at this point of the off-season you won't find anyone that is above JAG level. He's a JAG with some possible upside. I'm not saying sign to the roster, but he's someone that can learn the offense on the PS until a possible QB injury occurs. Are there really better options out there today?
  2. This is the same team that took a RB at #2 overall when they could have drafted a promising QB of the future and traded for a punter. Let's not just assume they are great at making good decisions. As it stands right now there are 3 QBs that know our offense...and one of those fellas now plays in Oakland. Need to get someone in here to learn in the event of injury. QB market isn't exactly robust right now. Are there better options than Webb out there that can be had? Not Likely.
  3. Heart says 19-0 Head says 7-9 but with a late season surge led by Josh Allen. Could also see us hitting the 9 win mark if we get a few nice breaks here and there, maybe catch a team or 2 hit by key injuries.
  4. I'd be on board With Brice Butler.
  5. If They were really on point they would have signed Brad Wing to be our new punter.
  6. Big time arm. 10 can't brain from what I understand. Physically gifted for sure, but really hasn't learned to be a QB. Those physical traits can do well in NCAA, though.
  7. Thought Marlow would make the 53, so thats a good get imo
  8. I'm more concerned over how to pronounce his name correctly. Is it like "Day-boll" or "Dabble" or "Da-Bull"? This fanbase cannot afford another Tyrod/Tuh-rod scandal.
  9. Gruden signs Jones...immediately trades Carr to the Jags for a 6th and next years 5th.
  10. Not necessarily. The kid they claimed didn't even punt in the preseason. Likely just a flier, he doesn't work out nothing lost. On the other hand, if I'm Schmidt I can see how much they want to replace me, I think I go full on Corey Coleman and demand a trade. (Or in a punters case...release. Only Gettleman would trade for a punter, these days)
  11. Ittakestime obsessed with every move Beane makes. What did he have for supper last night?
  12. Be a nice spot for Gillislee if he doesn't sign with the Saints first.
  13. So, for context could you please include signings over the same time frame for,the other 31 GMs so we may confirm, that, other GMs sign nothing but All Pros?
  14. I think this is almost what happened. I think after the game the Bears were so impressed with AJM that they offered a package of 2 first rounders, a 3rd and the rights to the ghost of Urlacher (who is still alive). However, Beane saw the chance to mess with EJ Manual one more time, told McD "hold my beer" and moved McCarron to the Raiders. Once the Raiders got AJM, Mack became expendable. No,need for a pass rush when you have "Mr. Comeback". So, not wanting to come away empty handed, the Bears offered pretty much the same package for Mack.
  15. Cincinnati is in the market for a back up QB. There are a few teams he could make as a back up.
  16. I think Zay goes gloveless this year.
  17. My wishlist: Brice Butler, WR Austin Pasztor, OT Bring in every available G for a tryout.
  18. I gotta be honest, I'm seeing 9-7. In the NFL it's important not only who you play, but when you play them. The rough first half of the year, more on the road than home looks insurmountable. But, if we hit a couple teams at the right time...who knows.
  19. Brice Butler, WR. Big and fast. This would be an amazing get at this stage.
  20. His hands are worse than Fosters.
  21. Austin Pasztor OT, former Falcon. Very serviceable as a Newhouse upgrade.
  22. So will Josh Allen...
