  1. Desperate teams pay desperate prices. The thing I worry about is Arizona knows what we CAN offer. So any deal they propose has to be a lights out deal. Talking a 1,2,3 this year plus some next year type deal. I believe Beane wants to trade but has a firm grasp on the price he would pay and won't give much over that. He just seems like the kind of GM that wants the best value out of each pick.
  2. So, the opportunity to draft any of the top QBs and the Browns pull a Mulligan and go with Jackson? C'monnnn Maaaannnn Lauletta in the 1st round? "Realistic"
  3. Call me kooky-dukes but I'm way more mindful of Arizona jumping up high and taking a QB then I am the Giants or Broncos taking one. Real talk- Arizona is the biggest threat imo
  4. That's what I figured you meant. But just wanted to clarify. Fwiw, I'm a big "fit" guy. You could have the best player in the world but if he's in a bad situation it increases his chances to fail. All I can think of with Rosen in NY (Mayfield as well) is that the media in NY is relentless. I can see them creating issues by baiting Rosen for quotes easily. Controversial statements create cash. That was sooooo 2 weeks ago.
  5. Oh, I'm with you on Ragnow. I'd even move up in round 2 to get him. But right now with what we have on the roster if (and it's a huge if) we have a pick at 22 it has to be a LBer. There are a few that will be there that will be great picks. Curious to hear why you think that? A disaster for who? The Bills? Jets? Rosen?
  6. It's not jealousy in the least. Yes, at the end of the day it will likely work out for them and that's super. They will get someone they want at a higher price then if they stood still and watched the draft unfold and make a deal according to what happened. In all likelihood, they will come away with Baker Mayfield imo. And that's a good return. Then we all get to see how the ensuing Baker Vs NY Media plays out. That should be entertaining to watch.
  7. Even with Wood and Cogs retirement our weakest spot is still RT imo. Groy, Bodine and a later pick to compete should be able to compete. Add into that Vlad did play better down the stretch and John Miller, while forgotten about played extremely well just 2 seasons ago in a similar style blocking scheme as we are expecting to run this year. At LBer we have...Milano. And not much else.
  8. No. Jets moving up that early was a panic plain and simple. Where they were sitting they likely would still have had one of the Big 4 drop in their lap or on draft Day could have had a good shot of sliding to 4 to get their guy ahead of Denver if that's what they feared. And for way less. Being at 12 with the picks we have we have a shot to move up and get the QB we want or improve our roster greatly.
  9. Every time I see a mock with a G/C as the pick at 22 when good linebackers are still on the board I know the writer knows little about our needs and just reads headlines. I could see the Pats moving for him. They could easily believe the Patriot Way and sitting behind Brady helps him hit his ceiling.
  10. Just remember to keep your word if it happens.
  11. I clicked each box including "other". Because it will be one of them...or other.
  12. "He's a punt catcher"
  13. There will be a name of a guy written on a card. The card will be given to the commissioner. He will read the card on TV. That's who we will take.
  14. *Until week 3 when Gordon is suspended again.
  15. 867-5309. My ex Jennifer. Goes by Jenny. Think she may be Jessie's girl now tbh.
  16. Why? We need WR help...just imagine AJ throwing sick 20 yards bombs to Jackson. All day baby.
  17. I'm hoping the Dolphins or Patriots boards draft the OP tbh.
  18. Well what if the foot is normal size but the toes are small? Would this mess with balance? I thing proportional feet are more important than size. Also foot strength. Can't stress that enough. Hopefully there are some metrics being developed On some level isn't every post a LAMP post to some varying degree? ???
  19. If whoever we draft hasn't thrown for 300 yards at least 5 times and 40 TDs as a Bill by Friday morning...we need to cut him and take someone else in round 2.
  20. This guy is always on point with the info.
  21. The cold day has come and gone my friend. Or do we just ignore that the Jets and Giants combined to build a 1.6 billion dollar stadium a few years back? It was largely financial reasons, but it was within their best interests to make a deal and they did. I'd say the disdain is more ingrained in the mind of fans then the people that currently operate the teams nowadays. Jmo of course.
  22. They would if they thought they were getting a steal of a deal. And sliding one spot for an extra pick with no risk of losing their guy (assuming it's not a QB) is a steal. I don't really think Gettleman is the type of person that fears the NY Post Backpage.
  23. It could happen. Talent wise RIGHT NOW I'd say our roster is severely lacking. I also saw last year our coaching staff get that roster to play as a team. There will be improvements to the roster. But it could still a rough season. Could also go 11-5 and win the division. It's a quirky little league like that.
  24. No. Not even tempted. We have MORE than enough draft capital and he is all we have on offense.
