    2000 all over again?

Since Tyrod is being waived/cut as so many say/want, shouldn't we prepare for the future with Peterman (our saviour)?

This year went up in smoke as our draft position was pooched and that 4-12 season was screwed with Taylor at QB....

    What now?

They will be starting Joe Webb. He has started a playoff game before. The Spider Webb package is now fully pregnant. So sayeth the Don of Dunkirk.

It will be a tough game. Jacksonvilles pass d anchored by bouye and Ramsey is very tough. They are weak vs the run. Will require McCoy to be available and alot of running the ball. Also jacksonville is much better at home this year than on the road. I wouldnt look into last years team. They are a complete diffrent team than 2016.

    Happy ny

Honestly their CBs don't scare me. They will likely be locked up with our Wrs. We don't really throw their way too much. Lots of passes to Clay, RBs mixed in with Tyrod scrambling, McCoy (or Murphy) running....and we can win. I think we match up better than most think.

aaaaaaaand Antonio Brown and Le'veon Bell out.

Yup. With those 2 out he's getting a lot of chances against a bad team. Look, I do like JuJu, seems like a good player. But it's way too early to say he's that much better than Zay will be.

    900 yards 9ish tds w PR rookie season ?

    Okay.

Rest of year with Big Ben throwing to him, Brown taking on the double coverage and having to respect the run and Bell out of the backfield....

    Okay.

Idk man. Thank you for what? 18 likely years of trash and we are still here.

Those three games where McFlawed did not have his team ready will likely cost us a spot this year.

Btw, take a peak at next year's schedule...yeesh.

Remember when last year we looked at this year's schedule and said yeesh? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

  5. Here we go!

At this point in the day it's not clear if we have playoff football ahead of us or an 18th season of disappointment. "And yet I smile"

My wife and I have an agreement. She will leave me alone on Sunday's (no family plans, house repairs or company) until the Bills are eliminated from playoff contention. This year before the season I told her she could likely plan to have me available after about week 10. I did not have high hopes.

Here we are in week 17. Playing a meaningful game. Whether we make it in or not I truly believe this season was a step in the right direction. And while I will concede that we have been 1 McCoy injury away from destruction I see a lot to be excited about next year. It's AMAZING what a group of "talentless scrubs"  have accomplished. It's amazing to see a "clueless" rookie head coach leading the team to an exciting season conclusion... possibly even a winning season record wise.

So thank you to the 2017 Buffalo Bills. It may not have always been pretty but it's been an extremely fun ride. Hopefully with more weeks to come!

With the possibility of the Bills ending the drought tonight, I may be due for a name change. So I  thought I would ask the fine folks at TBD for suggestions. I know everyone will take this serious and give out nothing but well thought out choices.

So have some fun and let me know, and don't worry I won't be upset by your responses.

Just wait to see who our QB is next season. Insert "Saviour" in front of his last name. Constantly post passive aggressive trash in the future.

Smoke being pushed by Gruden himself to spice up offers I bet..

Offers? No. He's looking for more network money if anything. Gruden has had many years to get back on the sideline...and he hasn't. The guy makes huge money to sit in the booth and give (terrible) takes on football. He doesn't have to deal with immature head case players, media scrutiny or fan bases anymore. He's coasting. I don't think we every see him on a sideline ever again.

    Seriously: why?

There was no practice today and PS'ers have nothing to do on Game Days.  So what's the point on Saturday of Week 17?  They'd rather have a WR than a CB next week if they make the playoffs?  Or they keep the newby's rights in the offseason, and he's that valuable?

Oakland is preparing to pursue ESPN analyst Jon Gruden with an offer so strong it could even include an ownership stake in the Raiders, according to league sources.

Gruden will be tempted to accept it, according to sources, but would prefer not to make any decisions until the regular season finishes Sunday and the Raiders make a final determination on their current head coach, Jack Del Rio, who signed a contract extension last summer.

But Oakland long has appealed to Gruden for a variety of reasons. He would return to an organization he didn't want to leave in 2001, he would inherit a young quarterback in Derek Carr whom he feels strongly about, and he would get to coach a team that is slated to move in 2020 to Las Vegas, where he would not have to pay state tax, as he does now in Florida, where he currently lives. Gruden's contract even could be backloaded to pay him more in the Nevada years and lessen his tax burden during the Oakland ones.

Honestly I wouldn't want Gruden. Never thought he was anything special. Won a Super Bowl with Dungy's team. Against a team he knew extremely well.

I would venture to say spending 60M guaranteed of the owners Money on a UFA and that UFA not living up or busting runs more of a risk to the GM, coaches and Team.

I'd agree draft. Spending on a big name UFA you are always overpaying. That hampers you from building out the rest of the roster with skilled players.

If you miss on a high draft choice you can at least have financial freedom to bring in other players, possibly even another QB.
