Oh BS, this is just another in a long line of head scratching moves, that’s the problem.
It started when they had 6 picks in the first 3 rounds and walked away with ONE day 1 starter, while trading away a ton of picks for a QB they clearly did not feel was ready to play right away.
Why not get 5 starters, address the OL that you lost, and build off a playoff season, still get your physically gifted project QB without having to trade up in Lamar Jackson, make a play for Bridgewater in the off season (who surely would’ve signed here if you are penciling him in as the starter).
I assure you, it’s not this move in particular, more of an accumulation of questionable decisions from the coaching staff hires (and retaining Castillo), to the unnecessary cutting of any player Rex brought in for whatever they could get for them, the fact that McDermott refuses to see what Peterman is (or isn’t), not having a veteran backup to help with Allen’s development, rolling with Tolbert as your #2 back all last year- it’s really quite a long list.
But Andy Dalton got McDermott in the playoffs so cut him some slack right? Who cares about the point differential last season, or the abysmal offensive and defensive rankings???
This. And add to that firing Gill Byrd when our secondary was so strong last year..

Maybe if he answered the questions instead of saying crap like, "I don't feel the need to elaborate" or "it's part of the process" he wouldn't be asked the same questions time and time again.

Maybe so, but it's accurate. People are acting like we just cut Jerry Rice
True. And Kerley isn't amazing...but keeping him,is maybe...juuuust maybe more helpful to our rookie QB making his first start than a 4th DT.

well Dimarco is a core player on special teams, an equally important aspect to what Kerley offers us. Plus Dimarco is a locker room leader
DiMarco played 1 (ONE) offensive snap last week. Really don't care that hes a "leader"..someone else can step into that role. He offers nothing to the offense. And having guys that do well on special teams is awesome...providing you have an offense that can move the Damn ball.
We have no one that can catch, slim at CB facing Rivers...yea lets promote a DT and cut a guy that could actually help. Ridiculous.

30-16 Chargers. I think it will be a close game until LA pulls away late by exposing a tired out defense.

Murph's call:
"Allen leads the Bills to the line, 3 wide set pistol formation. Jones getting Benjamin to the right spot. This place is electric right now! Ball is snapped, Allen to pass. Ducasse just ran into Groy. Here comes the defense...Allen rolls right looks for Benjamin, who didn't even run a route. He May be asleep. Allen looks for Jones the pass hits off his hands, up in the aircoming down to a WIDE OPEN Clay...Benjamin wake and streaks for it...Benjamin with a stiff arm to Clay yelling "I'M THE #1, FOOL" Benjamin drops the pass. 2nd down coming."

Imagine if they won the Super Bowl. That would have bought them maybe two years to suck. That would be terrible.
Hm. So win the Super Bowl this year and then we can FINALLY start this rebuild. I like it. I like it a LOT.

A young QBs best friend is the TE. I'm going Croom. I feel like given the same opportunity that Clay has he could be just as productive (not hard to do) or much more a factor.

Fired? Not a chance. Jailed for choking out some member of the media for asking the same question 36 times in a row? 47% chance.

Newhouse and Ivory were signed to be backups. Bodine was signed as a backup with a chance to start.
Star didn't play bad. Did you see Milano and Edmunds flying all over making plays? They don't do that if Star isn't doing his job.
Murphy was on a snap count coming off injury...ya know ease him back a bit so he doesn't get hurt again. AJ is gone...but we do have something to show for it in a 5th rounder. Excellent throw in pick to trade up a few spots and grab a player we covet.
The CBs, well I wasn't a fan of either signing. Can't win em all.

I would like to see them mix it it. Not run it the whole game but a few series early can keep the Chargers off balance. If we find we have a mismatch that we can exploit, run the no huddle so they can't substitute.

Hoping they get him more involved. With our WR issues would be great to see both in the backfield at the same time. Send Shady in motion out wide a bit.
Said it before, this kid runs with Fred Jackson like intensity. He wants that extra yard. Hopefully Daboll uses him.

Steve Atwater has the same % as Teddy Bruschi. What a joke.

The only time Peterman looked like a competitive player was the blizzard game against the Colts.
Now, why is that? Well first off no one would confuse the Colts defense with the 85 Bears. Second and more important, with all the snow on the ground it slowed the defenders down which in turn slowed the whole pace of play down.
I like Peterman as a person. I think the game just moves way too fast at the NFL level for him to process. No shame in that.

All this idiot wants to talk about on a supposed Buffalo sports talk radio station is fantasy football. Who cares about your 20 teams and who you should start or trade for. This station and program is NOT all about you!!! Can't stand this moron anymore. Don't know how Bulldog sits through all this crap.
Well, how do you do it?

Beane and McDermott can't use any excuse that they weren't familiar with exactly who he is as a person and player.
Yet another decision that McDermott can take to the grave.

If he was half as dedicated as he thinks he is talented and knowledgeable he would be a Top 15-20 WR.

The Browns also received EJ Gaines who will be excellent addition to their IR.

I seriously feel that "Bruschi is an Idiot" should just be a permanently pinned thread on these forums.

It's the Allen and Edmunds show for me this year. I want to see the plays from Allen that make you say WOW. I want to see the plays from Allen that make you say WHAT?!?! Over the course of the year I want to see the WOW outweight the WHAT.
Edmunds; need to see him learn. Need to see him let his instincts take over. Play fast and play hard.
Subplots for me: want to see this new punter (yes, really). Also, want to see if the find a pulse on KB at any point this year. Would like to see White get even better

Bills Release WR Jeremy Kerley; Sign DT Robert Thomas from PS

Every roster move they have made this week shows that their focus is allowing Trent Murphy to play lower snap counts than helping thier rookie QB survive his first start.
