  1. Solid pick, awesome way to announce it.
  2. Per Benjamin Allbright at least 3 times bigger than Riley Ferguson.
  3. I am extremely nervous about our QB coach, Dave Culley. He has an excellent reputation...as a WR coach. He came here from KC. What I believe happened was (and no proof just a theory) Andy Reid agreed to give McDermott a glowing recommendation (which I have read he indeed did do) in exchange for McDermott hiring Culley as QB coach. When he came here, Reid made it a point to say the reason he was ok with Culley leaving was because Culley wanted to get his resume built for an eventual HC position. While Culley may not be the most experienced with QBs I have to believe that him coming here with a rookie QB is his big shot. And he has to know that. If whatever QB we draft works out it would really help him to bigger things. Perhaps an OC position down the road leading to that HC job he wants. Now, I don't know if Culley is a good QB coach. I've never been in a QB room with him or been on a field to hear his coaching. But when a guy has aspirations and a chance I do know if he fails, it won't be lack of effort. I believe he will go above and beyond to make his goals come true. Quote Edit Options Posted this on another Culley thread. Holds true today.
  4. I want to say 7. It's 7 isn't it? 9? 22? Just TELL US!!! DAMN YOU HERB AND YOUR SECRETS!!!
  5. Baltimore didn't even draft a QB. They scored a TE and a WR.
  6. They never asked if he loooves penis either.
  7. That was a really nice write up. Thank you. I think by and large a lot more people would have been fine with Allen had Rosen not been on the board or had Allen fell to 12. It is what it is though. With at least some of the issues being possibly correctable I think it may just be ok.
  8. Explain to me why it's our job to explain it to you?
  9. If you have to pre-ask for forgiveness for being ignorant you don't deserve the forgiveness.
  10. Well, in my view (which isn't worth much, admittedly) Josh Allen handled himself with more class and professionalism concerning "TweetGate" than Rosen did in sliding to 10.
  11. I think they just liked Allen's ceiling better than Rosen's floor.
  12. We have Dave Culley. While not experienced with QBs, he does have Andy Reid's seal of approval . Culley has a lot to prove.
  13. With the way Beanie took a passive approach to FA QBs, I have to believe Allen will have every chance to start. I think it comes down to 2 things. 1. How good is AJ? 2. Can we get at least close to the same production and results from Allen? If the 2 players are close...go with the rookie. Let him learn by doing.
  14. Lots of people said the same thing about Wentz his rookie year. Not calling Allen Wentz (though some have made the comparison)...but it's not impossible.
  15. With how rough the start to the season looks on paper, I could see a scenario that has Allen starting by Week 6.
  16. And he got high, and he got high and he got high...
  17. I predict if he doesn't turn into a good QB that it will be "someone else's fault"
  18. I wish we would have gotten him based on his ability to play football. I love his skillset and his knowledge. But when seeing him respond to his "slip" to 10 he came across as thin skinned. Should be interesting to watch what happens should the Cardinals not have quick success with him under center.
  19. And that's why I drafted Barkley 1st overall in the no trade mock...and Mayfield 4th
  20. Good luck to the Browns. Here's hoping tonight our franchises set themselves up to meet in 8-10 straight AFC Championship Games. (I mean, which we win in a clean sweep...but still).
  21. Knows how to cash their paychecks for doing nothing.
  22. Riley Ferguson (mead only)
