Wow.
This is blows up in their face, right?
Absolutely. Even if the Raiders win a Super Bowl under Gruden(and I don't think they do)...it's not going to end well.
It will become the Mario William contract to them. Even if he's good he won't live up to the contract.

I'm going to go with a guy that I believe has been trending up for most of the season. NICK O'LEARY! Nothing enormous...maybe just 4 catches for 50 yards...but something tells me they go to him for some clutch 1st downs. Defense...Preston Brown. Double digits in tackles and a turnover forced.

I think Tolbert has a foundation to support his chicken wing addiction. Guy spends 6 figures on the extra blue cheese alone.

I know it's just Madden, but I have fun with it. I play the games in simulation mode as a spectator using my own CPU skill settings that I've been tweaking for years to keep the results more realistic, if that word can be applied to Madden.
After 58 minutes in which most of the offense was the Jax ground game, the Jags had a 13-10 lead and drove down to our 8 yd line when Hughes hammered Bortles on 3rd and goal, knocking the ball loose and Washington recovered for us. The Bills quickly drove down into the red zone where Hauschka sent the game into OT with 6 secs left to play in regulation time.
In OT, the Bills went nowhere and gave up good field position. After a couple 1st downs the D stiffened just outside FG range and a nice punt return set up the O at the Bills 32. The Bills hit a couple nice passes and Tyrod got the Bills up close enough for the game winning kick as Haus-money went 3 for 3, including a 53 yarder.
Milano had a great game with 2 sacks and a TFL as well as double digit tackles (as did Brown and Poyer). The Jags carved us up on the ground, but our D did a great job of making them settle for 3 as well as forcing that late fumble. It was a lot of fun to watch. I hope the real game goes like that.
I just wanted to share that one.
Some follow up questions.
1. Did Shady play?
2. Was Doug Marrone eating a bologna sandwich at any point of the game?
3. Who got hurt first? Colt Anderson or EJ Gaines?
4. How many times did Marrone punt in Bills territory?

So your basically saying that he should risk a career ending injury to try to appease you, who doesnt like him and still wants him gone. Do you realize how entitled and ridiculous that sounds. Not to mention it being an awful gameplan. Jacksonville has got some heavy hitters who will be trying to knock him out of the game, and If he gets hurt the season is effectively over.
No, not to appease me. To win the game. To impress potential future employers. Get good stuff on tape.
There is no tomorrow in the playoffs. This is his chance to take over a game and not manage it. A couple years back he actually showed he has the ability against Tennessee to carry the team. He plays way too tentative.

A few of you may know that I'm not a big fan of Tyrod Taylor. I've kept my opinions to myself, for the most part.
If there is one thing that Tyrod is good at (and there really only is one thing), it's making plays with his legs.
If there was ever a time to say "!@#$ it" and let him just do his thing, it's this Sunday at 1pm EST. With McCoy's bum wheel, as much as I think Murphy is a good back (I really do), we need Jacksonville to respect our ground game. Let's face it, they're not going to respect a passing game that's been near, or at, last in the league for each of the past three seasons.
If our defense is up to the daunting task of keeping Blake !@#$ing Bortles from generating any kind of passing threat against us, perhaps we can keep Fournette from beating us and let Tyrod's legs open up some sort of passing threat of our own.
Is this a sustainable formula for a 17+ week season? No. But it's a new tournament now. It's a four week season.
We kept hearing about Taylor being "unleashed," but we never saw it. I think it's time we do.
I completely agree. There is zero reason to hold anything back on Tyrod's part now. Anyone that has watched him knows he's not a pocket QB. He's an athlete. He's a freak athlete at that. If he can tuck it and run for 60-70 yards, pick up a few crucial 1st downs with his legs and even throw some caution to the wind and throw a few 50/50 balls I think we win.
He has got to have a feeling he is not just playing in a playoff game. He's playing for his next contract.

Might be a smart, strategic move. 1,000 tickets that won't go to Bills fans.
My thought is they are trying to get some tarps off seats so they don't look unloved.
Be funny if most of the refugees cheered for the Bills.

1000 tickets, transportation and a food and beverage voucher for refugees. Also 1500 tickets to military personnel at $20 each.

Fournette vs. Bills run D
Taylor running vs. Jags D
Shady vs. ankle
Marrone vs. not punting in opponent's territory
Wonder what the under/over is for combined punts in opponents territory from both coaches? 5ish?
Other than that...my favorite matchup will definitely be Marrone Vs his ego. My hunch is he going to be the one to cost them the game.

So, saying it another way, you have to draft THREE (high?) 1st rounders to get somebody who will get into the playoffs.............and only 13% of the first rounders will be in the top half of the league in passing.
Realize that those successful QB's were mostly picked in the top 5 slots. We are not drafting in the one->5 slot because we are not that bad. So we would have to repeatedly bundle up something like two first rounders and a second to get a shot at a top 5 draft pick slot. Therefore you are not just talking about spending three 1st round picks. Maybe something like five 1st round and five 2nd round picks to get to pick three times in the top 5.
Is it worth 8 to 10 starters for that? That is nearly an entire offense or defense. It is one hell of an offensive line and linebacker crew......
??
Welp...we drafted Losman and EJ. We are into our 3rd. Math checks out that this next guy is the one.
That said I hope that McBeane let's the draft fall to them. Doesn't panic and just jump for the sake of jumping. I want a guy that can win...but I don't want to mortgage the future. I really think we can find our guy in the 15-19th pick range. Don't give everything away for one guy.

I don't think he has had a singular throw or drive that is pop off the page memorable. He HAS however had quite a few moments where he escaped the pocket in some unreal way where I was like "Wow".
But that's kind of to be expected. He is an amazing athlete. But it's time we get a QB, not just an athletic guy that can loft a few passes.

Keenum, Bridgewater, & Bradford.
Two questions:
1. Who is kept by Minnesota? I think they keep 2. Keenum and Bridgewater. Hard to dump Case after the year he has had. And I'm sure they see Teddy as a QB of the future. Bradford is odd man out I would guess.
2. Of the two that hit free agency, which would you want the Bills to sign? So, Bradford? Would I want him. Well, he can be a really good QB when healthy. Not sure I would devote the cap space he will likely want to a guy known for being hurt. If you sign Bradford you have to sign a solid backup or get your rookie to play quickly.

We all know LeSean's talent, one of the premier RB's in the NFL What we don't know is his ego.
Odell Beckham Jr injured his ankle in the pre season against the Browns. Was off a few weeks, came back for a
few weeks and then was lost for the season as he broke the same ankle he injured a few weeks earlier.
Coincidence? Who knows. Shady injured his ankle Sunday in Miami. So far he has not practiced. Will he play
Sunday in Jacksonville? Nobody knows, but if they do know, no one is saying. Obviously Shady wants to play,
and the Bills will probably be better if he does. This a decision the coaching staff, the trainers, and medical
people should make, and it is a decision they have to say yes to, only if he is 100%. This is not a decision that Shady
should make. Against Miami Sunday, a healthy McCoy in 11 carries gained 10 yards. That's right 10 yards.
It really wasn't on him though, but on a O Line so bad that it would have been hard for anyone to do good.
A O Line that needs to be fixed in the off season, no matter what any statistics show. How bad are they, and
disagree if you want, but do you know who has the most negative yards from scrimmage in the NFL this
year. If you said Shady you win. He has had some good games this year against poor DL But other teams
have stacked the box and want the passing game to beat them. Anyway if he is 100%, let him play, if not he
needs to sit. Win this week and the Pats are waiting in Foxboro. He needs to be healthy next week.
Murphy and Tolbert ran well at times behind that bad line.
. Could it just be that the Dolphins focused on taking Shady out? You do realize that the guys on the Dolphins...the defense... they play professional football as well. Right?
It's good to see people like you on the board. The " Crud they got in the playoffs but I have a reputation for complaining" crowd. So the real question becomes will your ego outstrip your posting "talent"?.

Could you imagine the hundreds of thousands of dollars Bills fans would donate to members of the Bills if we ever win a Super Bowl?
Anyhoo...what's another bit of cash? $49 heading your way, Tyler. Awesome work!

Yea, literally anyone but her.
