  1. Oh Coach Daboll...you sir have outdone yourself
  2. That's not what I said. However if our offense can't get to 30, the likelihood of winning drops significantly. We should do eve to make sure we have a better chance to hit that
  3. It's been a few weeks since we accomplished that feat
  4. Well, this is a league built on offense. There really aren't teams holding opponents to 21 or under week in and week out. And we are IMO quite a few upgrades away with multiple players needed (and better coaching) away from that. Now a top level #1? That opens a lot up and makes scoring 30 much more logical.
  5. Here's the real issue no one wants to talk about. In the last couple days it's been reported the the Saints aren't interested in trading Olave, the Eagles aren't moving Brown, the Dolphins have zero interest in moving Waddle as they see him as a cog for their future and Hills bleak future, the Jets aren't moving Wilson. Perhaps some of that is team speak to drive up price. I'm thinking not. And even if it is there are far more than just us looking for WR help. That leaves us with second and third tier guys. Maybe a guy like Jerry Jeudy. I still think the Steelers end up with an Allen Lazard type. But the high end guys just aren't there this year.
  6. I look at the other side of the coin. For years Beane has been focused on his white whale of beating the Chiefs come playoff time. Maybe added pressure from within the division will force him to change his stance and actually go out and find legitimate weapons. If it can alter his perception of what we need, it may help in the long run
  7. Dead cap hits teams would take to trade either Waddle or Wilson Dolphins -Waddle-23.2M Jets- Wilson - 41.4M I would say the Jets would have to be absolutely blown away by a trade offer to take a 41M+ cap hit AND send to a division rival. That's not gonna happen. Same applies to Waddle. They need to be blown away. Those two are likely to stay put, and if they are moved to wouldn't be in the division unless we offer a ridiculous overpay.
  8. He's having the same season that Sam Darnold had last year. He will play strong and then fold late in the season/playoffs.
  9. He's hurt a LOT. I don't disagree. Especially because the Steelers/Dolphins have a deep trade history. But Daboll and company are in survival mode and may be willing to offer a bit as well He didn't build anything. He took Shanny's playbook with him. And as soon as teams adjusted to what he had personal wise he isn't clever enough to adjust.
  10. Vrabel is a dink, but after what that organization did to him I really can't blame him. I don't think they fire him until the end of the year. Keep an eye on the Giants too
  11. That's kinda of the way it goes. Any game you watch you see WRs trying to influence PI calls. You see the sideline immediately yell and flail their arms on sideline catches to try and influence a close catch in the sideline. Every DB immediately signals the incompetent sign when the guy they cover catches a ball near the ground. It's so insufferable.
  12. Throwing 5TDs on only 182 yards is a wacky looking stat line lol
  13. Hanson looks too much like Ryan Tannehill for my taste
  14. Yeah, I can totally see Vrabel try to embarrass his old team.
  15. I clocked 12-5 but I fat fingered it. I meant 11-6. I see losses to the Eagles, Browns, Bucs and Chiefs. All teams with pretty stout defenses. That's a reflection on how I feel Joe Brady calls games against good defensive teams more than anything. I'm with you except for the bolded. I don't even think Codrington should be rostered let alone active. And Rapp and Tre should see pine, but I don't know what we have on the active roster that isn't equal or worse. Cook, Id like to see less than 60% in the regular season... especially early in the season. Trouble there is we haven't had a RB show they deserve snaps outside of him. Ty has trended down and Ray Davis is doing a great Karlos Williams year two impression.
  16. Really? The Bills have zero draft pick for next year? Big if true.
  17. A few snaps reactions: 1. Who is Dan Mitchell? 2. We almost never hear about the Bills being active in either Trade or FA markets. Then...BLAMMO moves are made sometime at night. 3. I always love when people make statements like this and circumvent it with a "That could always change" statement.
  18. Yeah, it won't be anybody that's a top threat. More of a "we feel he can be the best version of himself with us".
  19. I suspect that either Monday or Tuesday we will hear that Beane made a trade for a WR that wasn't really talked about prior. 25% of the board will build him up as the savior. 50% of the board will be upset the Bills didn't trade for "their guy" and 25% will just be upset at the assets that were given up to acquire said WR to be named and say it was an over pay.
  20. Agreed. But that wasn't what was being asked.
  21. Well let's see. That would be Broncos at Bills Chiefs at Chargers Patriots at Steelers. My winners are bolded. Division matchups would be: Chargers at Bills Patriots at Colts If that's the final 4, I like our odds. The Patriots aren't there quite yet. The Colts have Danny Dimes at QB and sooner or later, the Chargers are gonna Charger.
  22. Well, let's break it down. Allen/Mahomes - kinda cancel each other out. Allen is, I feel the better football player but Mahomes comes through in the clutch.. especially in playoffs. Cook/Pacheco - Cook is far superior. Shakir/Hollywood - I give the edge to Shakir here as Brown is kind of a one trick pony. Coleman/Worthy - I give the edge to Worthy for his big play ability Kincaid/Kelce - If we are talking careers, Kelce easily. If we are talking this season, I actually think they cancel each other out much like Mahomes/Allen. Kincaid's arrow is pointing up and Kelce is slowing. He's still a crafty vet So in my view, the Bills win 2 of the match ups. The Chiefs 1. And 2 draws. But now imagine if the Bills traded for a guy like Olave or Waddle and put them in Coleman's spot.
  23. The same vibes as DHop's Buffalo Soldier post.
  24. From comments he himself has made, it's the consistency of prepping week in and week out that eludes him. McDermott even said the maturation is something he still needs to do. To me he strikes me as the kind of guy that the game always came easy to. Always kind of like that big fish in the little pond. But now that the pond is bigger and some of the fish around him are better, he doesn't know how to respond. Before the NFL, a guy like Coleman could do well with just his athletic traits. But that isn't enough at this level.
  25. The biggest issue with the Browns is the owner. As a team, they have a lot of things I like. Really good defense with a top notch pass rusher. I like Judkins as a player. They had a really solid draft. They need a QB, but they gave away Mayfield. Then traded Flacco to the Bengals. Their horrible management of the QB position is laughable.
