This team was outscored by 57 points during the season. Our OLine is going to be a year older, our WRs are Kelvin Benjamin and then not much, our DLine was not good against the run statistically and couldn’t generate much pressure. Our LB group was a hodgepodge of players that will mostly be FAs.

Our TEs and secondary were pretty good.

Im so grateful we made the playoffs and want to go further next year. But looking at our team, we need a lot more talent overall - not just a slight upgrade at QB - if we are going to take that next step. Get a rookie QB on a cheap contract in the 1st and then use the extra cap space and draft picks to upgrade talent everywhere.

I am so tired of that stat..."outscored by 57". We were outscored by 67 over a 2 week span where games got way out of hand (Saints & Chargers.). Those 2 games we played the hottest team in the NFL at the time and started a 5th round rookie against an insane pass rush. The other 14 games we would be +10. Misleading stats are misleading.

Tyrod took a beating today.  He got up off the ground when many others wouldn’t have.  His heart is with the Buffalo Bills. He’s a well spoken man and a great representative of Buffalo the city and the Bills.  Have you ever heard or read of a negative issue (on or off-field) with Tyrod?

He’s a great athlete but not necessarily the prototype of a successful QB in the NFL.  He did his BEST!  I know he wanted more.

    THANK YOU TYROD !!!

I will give thanks. He is a good guy, likeable as a person and did his very best. Cannot question his toughness. Hopefully he continues on and gets the chance to keep playing football.

    Just not here.

People act like the kid wasn't a 5th round pick. Let the kid get a off-season to work on his game. Yeah the LA game was a debacle, he played well in a blizzard. Give him time to develop. I'm not opposed to drafting another QB which their are no guarantees will be successful. I would love to see our qb room contain (Peterman, & Rudolph).

So it takes an act of God to get a passable game from Peterman?

Yeah but does he not open it up because of the QB?  OC calls the game to win but also protect players as much as possible.

He doesn't "open it up" because he simply doesn't know how. He doesn't "protect" players in the slightest. How is calling a Tolbert sweep protecting? The guy is simply in over his head. I will agree in some aspects Taylor doesn't help matters, but he could fit a Shannahan offense if they tweeked it some.

you guys are hilarious it wasn't the right call. the 3 points is already in your back pocket by holding the jags who hadn't moved the ball the whole first half. What are they going to do on the 1 or 2 yard line? I guess you also liked when Mcdermott punted the ball on 4th and 1 in the Indy game too. Dude plays the game like a loser. The odds were so much more in their favor to go for it and get the 3 later if that failed.

Your Madden game must be strong.

One of you is the head coach of an NFL football team. One of you is calling him names online. Wanna guess who the loser really is? ?

I respect that.  I really like those 2 rookies coming up, fingers crossed we can land one but might have to trade up with Chicago to do so?  Keenum could be interesting and Bradford when healthy looks great. Beane and McD have some interesting discussions upcoming.

    As do us fans!

We danced this dance last night. Your opinion is Smith cost them the game and mine is 100% the opposite of that, I believe coaching and their D cost them the game. We can move on from that game that benefited the Bills anyways.

That said, How would you like to see the Bills handle the QB situation? For me it's still this -->

Go Smith (vet) and draft Rudolph or Mayfield to learn behind him. I can careless if we use both our first rd picks doing so. I'm tired of talking about OUR QB problems since Kelly retired. I'm sure most fans feel the same.

Let's just get this thing right.

Actually our thoughts are exactly the same. Vet and Rudolph or Mayfield. We differ on which vet though. Personally I've never been a fan of Smith. He, to me represents the kind of QB we need to move on from. I'm willing to wait and see what's available. What I do know is that I don't want to waste draft picks on Alex Smith.

I personally go Smith and Rudolph or Mayfield

Seen your anti Smith takes for a minute now. Honest? If Smith was our QB, do we win today?

You pop a rookie QB in right away and you have a 50%+ chance of breaking him.

How did Smith do yesterday? Lost. 33 yards passing in second half. No, we would not have won today with Smith.

Dumped some huge contracts, but got no worse. You're just menstruating right now because of the loss. You will be ok.

Would have loved to see the threads after the Harmon drop of '89

  10. While I agree both of your choices need improvement I would have to go with

    1. QB

    2. Run defense

    With OC maybe at 2A

After last season seeing 3 games with a guy rip off 200 yards on the ground and this season's struggle (highlighted by the Saints game) I can't stand to see us gashed like that.

I completely agree with the Minny QB (I'm betting Bradford is the odd man out) and drafting one as well. For OC, I would have taken Musgrave but he was retained so it will be interesting to see who becomes available over the next few weeks.

I was a big fat guy on our defense. Give me Vita Vea. Sign Star Lotulelei. Milano also should be playing next to 2 new LBs. Not sure who though.
