  1. It's almost like other teams have free will and put their teams needs above what would help the Bills out. Who knew. It's the funniest thing to read on here. "Just move to 2, Just sign XXX player, Just trade for XXX.". There are 31 other teams and none are standing still. Maybe Gettleman doesn't feel the picks we would give would outweigh the impact of Barkley. Maybe the huge contract we would offer Paul Richardson wouldn't matter because he wants to play near family, or for his boyhood favorite team, or for a contender more. As always it takes 2 sides to make a deal.
  2. That would be great. Absolute best case scenario. Only a slight move up and still get a top QB prospect. My only thing about this mock is I'd rather give up both 1sts this year than one next year.
  3. ?He was gonna be an NFL back...then he got high. Was gonna be a real good one too...then he got high. He got the munchies and his weight went high. Yes he got high yes he got high yes he got high?
  4. All depends on the players. Some would respond better to a Marrone and some would be a better Rex fit. At the end of the day I am super happy we have McDermott for this team.
  5. Norwell is set to become one of the top paid at G. I'm pretty sure the Giants have his agent on speed dial right now. Richardson would be fantastic. I think the market will grossly overpay for him. I would still love Brice Butler if we don't get Richardson.
  6. "Elite" and never taken an NFL snap. Oh Jesus...help this child.
  7. No, it's a solid argument for keeping a talented tackle to protect your franchise QB. Never said don't draft a QB.
  8. Welp. I'll see y'all after the draft.
  9. And when Rosen gets knocked senseless from a DE because they couldn't protect him...he won't see anything clearly. You draft a franchise QB you need to gather pass protection...not trade it away.
  10. I can't get over how many trades we see now. Seems way above the norm.
  11. His trade value is nowhere close to the value he could have to this team if healthy.
  12. The thing about the Free Agency QBs is, while there is a ton of them out there each one stands to flop HARD this coming season. And teams are absolutely going to do what happens every year in Free Agency and way over pay. Bradford is made of glass and there's a report that knee of his is degenerative. He is good when available, but how much will he be available? Keenum had a career year, but was that just a one year wonder? My gut tells me yes. He's the guy I would take the risk on as a bridge as long as there's a free out in the second year. Bridgewater I really liked coming out of college. Never really developed the way I thought he would...even before the knee. Bottom line is he's 24 and being let go by a team that's a QB away from constant contention. That says a lot to me about his health/development. McCown is old and gets hurt at a Bradfordian pace. I hear he is really good in the QB though and he was actually offered the Browns QB coach spit last year before signing with the Jets. I can see McDermott liking him. Glennon is terrible. And now the Foles debate. Foles has had an up and down career to say the least. He's not as bad as he has looked but nowhere near as good as he looked in the Super Bowl run. If he was a true free agent I would bring him in. But I think you can get the same (or close to) productivity out of Keenum and save the 2nd rounder or more it takes to get Foles.
  13. I'd still pass on him at 53. I think I'd rather have Mike White.
  14. Comparing your own intellectual observations to that of a caveman really helps prove my point. Thank you.
  15. I like Maclin and I know the Bills had interest last season but I'd rather grab Paul Richardson or Brice Butler.
  16. You are angry about this, but not nearly as angry as you are about Ben Affleck continuing to get acting jobs.
  17. Well, if the rumors is true that Jackson is the number 2 QB on their board and they feel he we be there at 21... what would he trade up? Just like everyone else I have my own personal preference on who I think the Bills should take. But all I really want is for them to identify their guy and get him. If it's at 2 with Rosen, cool. 21 with Jackson? Splendid. Truth of the matter is Beane and McDermott have a lot more riding on it the we as fans do. Personally I do not want Mason Rudolph. Not in the first or second. Not in the 3rd. Not at all. However, if he's picked...I will become a huge supporter of his. I just want them to have a plan, execute it and we will see what happens.
  18. Dolphins have no cap but have a ton of room to make it. Trade Landry or remove the tag- $16.2 million Cut or trade Tannehill- 17.5 million Cut/trade Ju'wan James- 9 million Cut Julius Thomas- 6.6 million Cut/Trade Suh (post June 1st cut)- 17 million. They just traded for Robert Quinn which they could view as the replacement for Suh (productivity wise). Thomas and James have been reported to be goners and Tannehill wouldn't be needed if Cousins is there.
  19. No, talking about the lazy comparison. But I'm glad your crystal ball can predict the future. What's the numbers for the Power Ball mate, since you see the future so clearly.
  20. The kid went from a walk on true freshman starter to the Heisman. He's got fire, grit and determination. Those can't be taught. He's a leader. He had one arrest for something stupid that most kids in college do. But, you don't measure a man in how he falls...measure him in how he gets back up. I can promise this, wherever Mayfield ends up he will be the heart and soul of that team. I'm pretty sure McDermott would be just fine with him.
  21. It is. And with all the teams being discussed I can almost guarantee there is at least 1 team hiding in the shadows...lurking. Something sure smells "fishy".
