  1. I really can't see it. If we go with a rookie pick I think (and just my own speculating here) they will want SOMEONE on the roster that has experience in the NFL as a starter. A McCown, a Bradford or such. I just can't see guys as calculated as McDermott and Beane rolling with 3 inexperienced QBs.
  2. Your key is for the wrong door. Unless Joe Thomas retired (and the Browns said they do expect he's back) they don't need an OT. Shon Coleman looks decent and was improving at lot from what I hear. Just a knee jerk reaction to throw Glenn in any and every trade to move up imo.
  3. All kidding aside...why is Glenn so disliked/disrespected by Bills fans? Im well aware of the predraft rumor Nix started but the whole first part of his career people wanted to kick him inside, make him play guard or over to RT. Then when we finally get a kid that can play LT or RT people insist he be traded. Cordy Glenn (when healthy) is an extremely good lineman. He makes the team better when he plays. If he's healthy enough to play it needs to be for Buffalo. If he's not healthy enough to play no one is going to take his salary anyways. I hope he's healthy, he stays and we reap the benefits of him playing here.
  4. I agree. Schmidt left too many plays on the field. He held the ball way too long before he got rid of it. Looked confused at times. Blake freaking Bortles outplayed him. How pathetic is that? And speaking of Bortles...did you know all that scrambling he did...not ONCE did Schmidt tackle him...or suggest putting a spy on him. He obviously needs to go.
  5. I'd rather give up 2 firsts for Tannehill then have Cutler. And I don't want to give up those 2 firsts for Tannehill. Also, I don't want Tannehill.
  6. Ok. So say we draft Darnold or Mayfield instead. Have either of them had concussions in the past? I honestly don't know. Add to that we draft one of the other 2 and they get 2 concussions in the first month of the season. Not much different.
  7. From what I understand (don't watch a ton of Cleveland games) he's pretty good against the run. Eats up a lot of blockers. Won't wow ya on the stat sheet but is a decent player, though as many stated disappointed because of his draft slot.
  8. We will all find out soon enough. And if they miss out on the guy they covet most they will likely tell us whoever it is they take was the plan all along anyways.
  9. If we are going back to that draft, let's grab Brady Quinn as well. He has worked with Daboll before. Obvious choice.
  10. I picked Rosen. I just think he is going to be the best to come out of this draft. I like Mayfield as well. If we stay at 21 and he's there I'd be good with Jackson at that spot as well.
  11. No, it would take more to get their pick and I think that's pretty obvious. But in giving up more, you could potentially get a guy that is younger with less tread on his tires. Luck has taken a ton of hits. You also have to believe if the Colts want to get a new QB, there is concern over where that shoulder is. And as far as a draftee being an unknown commodity, Luck right now is just as much of a question mark in my opinion. No telling how he will look when he comes back. Did he lose any arm strength/zip? Has his accuracy suffered? Will he overcompensate and do too much to protect the shoulder from hits? For just a little more in my eyes we have the potential to get a lot more in return.
  12. Really, I think they have talked to several teams and know what it would take to get into draft positions 2-10ish. They will let the draft play out and pounce when they feel we can get the best player at the best value. Just my opinion, of course. But I feel like they have a plan and several fall back plans. Trading Tyrod now just tells me they are confident that everything is going to be ok.
  13. If we make a trade to Indy I'd rather use all those high draft picks it would take to get Luck to get that #3 pick and get Rosen/Mayfield/Darnold.
  14. Can see it now: BREAKING NEWS: Bridgewater signs with Buffalo. Knee explodes while walking away from the table. Expected to miss the season.
  15. Yea, you know what though? Right now the only QB we have on our roster threw 5 picks in one half of football. They have a QB that did have a part in a playoff team. Not saying Tyrod is great, but this does move them in the right direction. Taylor is a HUGE step up from what they had (much like he was a step up from EJ for us) and they most likely will have a great prospect in the QB room after the draft.
  16. I think if there are guys that get cut and are a good fit personality and scheme wise they will be all over it.
  17. I don't really think this will happen, but you did say hypothetically so I'll play along. Hypothetically, I could see a team like Cincy getting desperate and looking for a spark to their team. Maybe moving Dalton for a couple of picks. Say a 2 and 3. Then using those to slide up the draft for Mayfield. Not saying I'd want Dalton per say, but I'd rather have him then a lot of the FA QBs out there.
  18. Forget Glennon. Bring in Johnny Manziel and Tim Tebow to battle it out. The ultimate battle of good Vs evil! Hackenberg to back up and Peterman in wild cat situations. The NP Package!
  19. Could see him in Baltimore. Thinking on a 2-3 year deal. 8-9 million base salary, loaded with incentives on top.
  20. Moore would have had a great chance to shine this year if he held any promise. Gase brought Jay Cutler out of retirement instead.
  21. B. Pair that with signing a vet QB and build around Rosen with FA, remaining picks and next year's pick.
  22. I believe that is the same chain of looks Peterman had on the DiMarco pass.
  23. Aside from QB: Anyone that improves the front 7 Speed receiver (Brice Butler) Replace Juan Castillo (One can hope)
  24. That train derailed about 10 minutes into the Charger game.
