That's the rumor. That same D got torched pretty good by Herbert in week 1 and in week 2 gave up a pretty nice game to Generic Josh Allen (Daniel Jones). Wouldn't shock me to see Allen bounce back at home again at a defense that has been good but nowhere near as expected yet.

I grew up listening to John Madden babble on about...stuff. Turkey legs, Tuff actin' Tinactin and just all kinds of random stuff. And his version of "really good player" was just "BOOM". Today brought me back to that simpler time. I'd give him a solid grade.

Honestly it reminds me of last year when he had that shoulder injury and was wearing the harness for a couple games. Lack of zip. A little more of the "happy feet" in the pocket. Seriously wondering if he's got an injury we don't know about.

Great team win! On a day Josh played subpar (I'm starting to speculate he has some kind of injury..lots of touch passes no "zip") we still won one the road, with the shutout, AND had a stellar pass rush and solid run game. Look at a team like KC. As great as they are is Mahomes goes on the raod and lays an egg like Josh did today...does KC still dominate and win? I don't think so. If Allen heats up this team is boarderline unstoppable.

Dallas really needs to get the ball to Pollard more.

I like this list but would add Zimmer. Dude played like this hair was on fire today.

Actually, I'm more wondering if he's playing with some kind of injury. Never seen him take so much off his passes or put so much touch on it. Have to wonder if it's him trying to evolve or just doesn't have his power.

It is, but the pass rush is awesome. Running game doing well. Josh will get it right...there is reason to be hopeful.

Agree that Smoke lost a step..used him as a familiar reference. Some elite speed is a difference maker, though. Also agree that Sanders is the better WR it this stage of their career. (Smoke has an elite level TD celebration, however)

Gotta give Brissett some credit. Does great taking what is open, keeps plays alive in the pocket. Pretty tough. A plus level backup.

I like Sanders and what he brings...but I think this offense misses a player like Smoke. A true deep threat. Without having to respect speed on each play defenses can send pressure or take that short game away. Imo

Doesn't have to just be runs. Much like the swing pass they just threw him he can be used a lot of ways.

The way Motor is playing he's looking like a budding feature back. If Allen keeps struggling they need to pivot and get Singletary as many touches as possible.
