  1. McD has literally stated the opposite of this on many occasions. This is also the same FO that identified players such as Foster, McKenzie and oh yea that fella by the name of Josh Allen. I also think this is a rather DEEP draft on offense. WR and TE have a ton of talent coming out specifically.

  3. It's going to be 100 times worse for Duke Williams.
  4. Frankly, I think Kitchens is a mistake. I understand why they did it. And really it's a case of them almost having to promote him...but my opinion is he was just a guy in the right place at the right time. No proof, but would it shock anyone if Todd Haley had sandbagged the Brown offense on purpose? May have figured he was a shoo in for interm coach when Hue was fired and then he just "fixes" the offense and poof interm label is removed.
  5. I think eventually someone will hire him. Only takes 1 owner to make the mistake. Let's see, loud disrespectful overrated players, ownership that has no clue, team that is based around it's defense...say hello to your 2020 head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
  6. He would really help on 1st and 2nd downs. Could also be an option to free Zo up to rush the passer more, which frees Lawson up to kick inside more. Hoping Milano is good to go, but would be nice insurance policy fir that as well. At 36, he may be looking for a familiar system and coach to play for. Where else would he rather be?
  7. My 1 player I didn't want them to touch last season was Josh Allen. I'll sit this year out.?
  8. This couldn't be further from reality. Understand these are real human beings and a lot of things factor in, and it's different for each person. Some do want to be paid or a chance to win or even play in a place with nice facilities. When Mario Williams came here, he himself said a huge factor was the hunting in the region iirc. Players have existing relationships with coaches that may be positive or negative and may hurt or hinder. Same with players. Pretty sure we will never see Russ Wilson and Golden Tate on the same team again. If a player visits (and we do get a LOT of player visits) I'm certain a tour is included in the visit. They will see what is offered and weigh the descision for what best meets individual needs.
  9. I like Holyfield. I see in Baltimore how the power run game has helped Jackson as a runner. May help Allen as well. Biggest knock I have on him is he doesn't catch many balls, but team him up with McCoy, maybe look into Tevin Coleman and get a RB stable with diverse talents that can make it harder to game plan for...much like the Pats do.
  10. While I agree with the sentiment, I believe most NFL coaching contracts are guarenteed. They still get their check. Also more times then not they find another job and actually make out quite well.
  11. It's a great cause, but I think I'm going to focus on some of our own players charities for a while.?
  12. I also read on this very board that Amari Cooper would not fetch a 1st. I read on this board that NO ONE would give 2 firsts for Mack. I don't think Wentz would fetch that much, but it only takes 1 team to jump and you never know. I also find it odd that a fanbase that pounds the tables when saying numbers don't tell the story when it comes to Josh Allen use numbers to justify Wentz over Foles. If Foles takes them to a 2nd straight SB...results matter. Not numbers.
  13. He wanted to get offense off the field so Kyle could go back on defense and get a final curtain call during the time out. It waa a classy move and show,of respect to KW
  14. Funny coincidence you picked this game. It's the last game I attended live and in person. Until today.
  15. Ok, but why does he have to? Because other QBs do it? His talent it stretching the field out with vertical passing. A short pass here and there, of course would be fine, but I'm not looking for a pass catching RB for him. Honestly, said before the season started the perfect type RB for him would be Derrick Henry. Not big on catching, can pound and tire out a defense.
  16. Like what you set up with a few changes. 1. No Bell. Yes he's talented, but he stands out catching the ball out of the backfield. Not really Allen's strong suit. Would not mind kicking the tires on Ajayi and seeing what his health is like. And I may try and pair him with Tevin Coleman. 2. Not big on White, not as big on Conley as you are but would be ok. Here's someone to remember: Funchess. NOT a #1, but pair him with Tyrell Williams, Robert Foster and the kid from UB...and we have something solid. 3. Cook is fine for short term if they, plan to groom the Croom. I also wouldn't mind Jesse James. 4. Like the oline additions.
  17. Yea, read what you said about compitition. And I disagree. I don't want someone on Crooms level brought in so he can have a chance. I want someone brought in that is better than what we have. I have no issue having him compete for a roster spot. Hope he makes it.
  18. Worth seeing? Of course. Counting on it and not doing something to upgrade the position? Absolutely not. No, you don't "have" to give anoyone a chance to compete. You "have" to upgrade and if Croom can step up his game, great. If not the cupboard isn't bare.
  19. He can be "ok" as a #2 or 3 guy if he can stop the fumbles. Id rather see the Bills sign a Jesse James, draft a guy and then have Croom for depth.
  20. If he's open to a reduced role then I'm for bringing him back. He can be an asset on 3rd downs still. His price tag doesn't really scare me as there is plenty of money to spend already. But we do have to have young legs back there.
  21. I'd say just punt 2019 away, but Darr would likely shank that too. Might as well just go for it and see what happens.
  22. Stop trying to use stop as an argument. Especially when I'm not even talking production.
