  1. Looks like err'body says no...
  2. I think for a change the Chiefs should focus on players that aren't in danger of being suspended.
  3. I think it was Mark Chumara
  4. My boldest prediction: Arizona drafts Murray but does not trade Rosen. Rosen opens season as QB1. Arizona waits until end of next year to deal Rosen after he improves his value and gives Murray a red shirt season.
  5. I think discounting Jacobs is a mistake. There are a ton of factors that may suggest he's higher on the Bills board than many fans individual boards. While I personally don't believe he's the pick if we stay at 9, I believe he's firmly in the conversation in a yrade back situation. -Very versitle. Can catch, block and run. -Since coming to Buffalo the "power back" has been a priority each off season (Tolbert, Ivory and now Gore). -Daboll is very familiar with him and was able to scheme a lot of plays for him. -Murphy and Ford combined for almost 90 offensive touches last year. With Gore and McCoy being older and missing games last year theres a high possibility we need a guy to handle touches this year. -Don't forget, Beane was part of the FO that grabbed McCaffery high. Tells me how he values RB. All of that is of course speculation on my part, but I believe it at the very least makes it a strong fit and strong possibility.
  6. I strongly believe he is higher on the Bills board than most people would think.
  7. I'm no OL guru like some here, but this is how I see it. -Morse is a huge improvement. -Tellar will have to earn play time this year. Spain and Feliciano are steady players with experience. -They brought in not 1 but 2 of the better swing tackles. One will likely win the RT job. I know Nsheke was signed first and for more money, but I like Waddles chances. -Dawkins had a down year but sounds really motivated to turn it around. I wouldn't count him out for a bounce back and having better talent around him will help that. Wouldn't shock me to see a tackle taken high, but also wouldn't be that big a shock if they wait until late day 2 or 3.
  8. Honestly, I'm looking at 7 or 8 wins, however the team shows steps forward. I dont want to see any games that feel over by halftime. The whole multiple 18-20 point loss in a game losses need to go. Expect the season to start out slow because we have an OL that will need time to gel, and those positions will likely not be set until deep in TC at best. With a better line and more weapons Allen taking a step forward as a pocket passer over the season. Edmunds progressing and seeing how Milano returns are keys as well. All in all, I firmly believe Beane has made this roster competitive and dare I say even NFL caliber. This season will show growth imo
  9. I think it puts Beane exactly where he wants to be. Much like a lot of free agents he targets he now has versatility. -He can stay put. Let the draft fall to him and grab the best player. -He can trade back and get more picks. In the draft, picks=power. -He can wait until draft night and see if a highly rated player drops a bit. Williams, Allen, Bosa slid to 6 or 7 and I bet he's on it. With more talent added in FA it doesn't lock him into doing anything out of necessity...he can just step back and make the best available choice.
  10. Right, I forget that a guy like Ivory, Murphy or Ford can't be cut.
  11. Why not both? Gore was still productive and I don't think it would preclude them from drafting a guy. Maybe even someone like Love thats coming back from injury and can be eased back in a bit rather than rushed.
  12. Still, averaged 4.6 per carry at 107 years old last year. I'd take him over Ivory.
  13. I remember seeing a while back that he and De'Vante Parker were pretty tight. Good chanck Parker is done. Wouldn't be my first choice but he's a guy that, like Phillips wants to stick it to Miami and does not like Gase.
  14. I think the creative approach is what we saw at the end of last year. I believe we sign either Barr or Za'darious Smith. They play the LB spot and Zo slides to DE which slides Lawson to DT on passing downs. Lawson had some really nice success inside late last year.
  15. Yes, everything here is what has already been rumored. When Omar tries to have an original thought this is what comes out:
  16. If I'm making the call, I defer to McCoy. It's appearent that even if he has a little juke left, which is debatable, he's showing that he is prone to getting knicked up. At his age this is common. Twice he got knocked out of a game very early, was always on the injury report. If McCoy is open to a reduced role and sharing the backfield with young legs then I would keep him. Id use him in a Darren Sproles role. Not concearned with his pay because there is plenty of $ to go around. Let him "keep his coins". He's earned them. If his pride is in the way, if he's still obsessed with a chance at 12k yards I try and shop him. No takers, then release. He can't be the focal point of the offense anymore in my opinion.
  17. He's doing a great job at preserving himself as the best Bronco QB of all time.
  18. This is pretty much lockstep for what I would like to see free agent wise. My RB of choice is Elijah Holyfield. And I'm ok with Humphries as long as we get a speed WR in the draft high up.
  19. No. Seen this story too many times. Guy plays amazing, then a flag pops up, then a second. Next thing you know dude is full on Marvin Harrison.
  20. I do believe that playing the Patriots carries a certain aura espicilly in the post season. You see players that are solid have legitimate mental breakdowns...Dee Ford being a latest example.
  21. That was pretty funny. And I know it was just a standy but Brady WAS hit here. I believe that's a 15 yard penalty on Matt Damon, $25,000 in fines and a public stoning.
  22. Pats-27 Rams-17 Young coach and young team gets caught up in the nerves early while the experienced team rolls from the start. I expect NE up by 13-0 early before the Rams settle down and make it a game. Think the Pats attack in the run early, Brady plays mediocre until late.
