  1. I think it's a combined "Get Ertz/Cut Edmunds thread, but not 100% sure...
  2. Yea, I have 2 predictions for this one. 1. People aren't gonna be happy. 2. This thread will end up locked lol
  3. Sorry, Breida was working with the ST coaches. That is the "he". My bad.
  4. Stephenson was out. McKenzie was coming back from a bum shoulder. He actually tweaked his other shoulder early in. They needed someone that could back up KR. Pregame, he was down in the end zone working with the ST coaches. May not be a popular move for the fans, but that was what it looks like the decision was based on.
  5. If the Buffalo Bills made the Super Bowl and 31 other teams were stricken with COVID, couldn't play and the only team we could play was Bishop Sycamore I would still be obnoxiously happy.
  6. The funniest thing I saw from yesterday was when Pitt had the ball. All the Steeler fans in the end zone were yelling with the crowd and flipping those terrible tissues around. They don't even know when to cheer. Maybe when we have the ball Josh gets nervous with everyone watching? Maybe we all need to duck down real low and hide our eyes😂
  7. Let's let Mitch call the plays🤷🏻‍♂️
  8. Pittsburgh has a dominating pass rush. So, our idea was to go 5 wide a good portion of the game. Not a great plan. Then when they saw our line couldn't contain it they didn't adjust. Could have had a back or TE help with chipping off the line and staying in to block. Nope. Moss, who many say is our best pass blocking RB wasn't even dressed. We have 2 and a half TEs on the roster and neither is a noted blocker. Of the players we did dress yesterday they still could have been an asset to slow the rush. Get Brieda in space and let them chase. Mix in a screen pass here and there. Their DC said flat out they were prepared for an 80-20 pass to run ratio and we gave them that. For most of the game our "running game" consisted of Josh and his 2 yard awkward looking keepers. Terrible planning +terrible execution + terrible adjustments and the Bills deserved that loss.
  9. Times like this I always remeber the Super Bowl era Bills getting an early season loss and saying (can still hear Bruce Smith's voice) "This was our wake up call" and they would reel off a string of W's. Much the same tone last year losing to the Cards. Hopefully losing this one it hope gets them refocused and they realize the off season fluff job they got in the media needs to be earned now.
  10. The reason we lost, simply put is the offense didn't execute. The offensive game plan was garbage. The playcalling was terrible. The punt block. Lots to work on this week.
  11. Couple nice flash plays by Addison and Oliver. Played well as a unit against the run. Still would have hoped for them to have more impact against a young OL at home. Didn't notice Obada, Phillips or Hughes much at all, but was at the game. Will be watching them closer when I rewatch today.
  12. Really bad first week We are onto the Dolphins At least Tua stinks
  13. Bills Fan reactions: 2019: 4th and 3 @ midfield - Punt "McD is too conservative playing Jauron ball. Needs to to for it" 2021: 4th and 3 @ midfield- Goes for it "McD is a horrible game manager. Clearly should have punted" 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️
  14. Inside the stadium now. They have Breida working off to the side on kick returns. Something Moss doesn't add. With Stephenson out he may be needed there a well.
  15. Good food, good friends and Buffalo Bills football. This is what Sunday was created for! Everyone stay safe, stay loud and let's have a memorable season! See you all there!
  16. I mean, it probably didn't stop him.🤷🏻‍♂️
  17. Ah. I see you were having trouble using your words like a big boy. It's ok, Slugger. Have a Capri Sun and we can try again after lunch!
  18. True. But he's such a Renegade!
  19. While he may have blitzed "72 times" last season how many of those playes ended up in a positive outcome for the Bills? I'm certainly you have those numbers at your fingertips, right? And where would that number fall amoung others in the league? Or is this a case of just cherry picking a stat? While the 72 blitzes you claim ended with zero pressures he did have 2 sacks. And again, on how many of his blitzes did someone else get the pressure? Hiw many times did it force an early pass? Tell the whole story. While I admit there are certainly areas he can improve (can't everyone?) he does receive a fair amount of unjust hate because in my opinion of where he was drafted and how Joe Fan thinks his position should be played.
  20. Edmunds: Being that he's not a 10 sack a season guy he will never live up to the draft position im the eyes of some fans. He will continue to do what is asked of him and play his 1/11 position instead of stuffing the stat sheet. He will make the Pro-Bowl (again) and some Bills fans will be upset by it (again). Oliver: Much was made about him playing out of position last season. Looking forward to seeing how he's used this year. I can easily see an 8-10 sack season and improvement in other areas coming. Davis: Easily my favorite for a true breakout. He's going to start the year as the 4th WR, it looks. I wouldn't be shocked if he sees the majority of snaps after week 8 or 9 in 2 WR sets. My guess is this is Cole's last year in Buffalo due to age, price tag and possibly nonfootball related reasons combined. As long as Davis is steadily progressing I would expect him to phase in more as Cole is phased out. I think Sanders catches a lot of balls this year too on those short underneath routes. A minor breakout candidate of mine: Gilliam. I can see him with 2-3 rushing TDs (saving Josh the contact on some QB sneaks) and another 3-4 in the air in a Lee Smith type statline.
  21. Big mistake. Tyler Bass 1st overall is where it's at.
  22. True, but in my opinion it's a bit premature to be offended. The team has been solid 3 of the last 4 years and is still trending up...but aside from 1 division title we haven't won anything yet. Reading these boards there is an air of entitlement streaming that just hasn't been earned as of yet. Soon, in my opinion. But not yet.
  23. Remember a time when the Bills weren't even part of the conversation? Pepperige Farms remembers...
  24. Chiefs, Titans, (Déjà Vu scheduling or what) Bucs, Pats on the road Jets in final week when we rest starters.(However we still may win this one with 2nd teamers.)
  25. I have the Bills at 12-5 this year. An injury in a key spot, a few players being unavailable short notice on game day due the the reason that shall not be named or a game bad breaks happen and we could see 11-6 or even 10-7. Could work the other ways and we see 14-3, too. Dolphins don't scare me too much as aside from Tua at QB that oline of theirs looks to be shakey at BEST. Jets are still 2 years away from even considering them. Patriots are gonna try and win games the way we did under Rex. Run and play stout defense. That D will definitely keep them in games. 10-7 wouldn't shock me if everything falls their way. They could be in the mix.
