  1. 7 wins is fair. All in all though, in this league the biggest thing is not who you play, but when you play them. Can you catch a team that's coming in banged up a steal a win? Can you get a couple of calls to go your way and steal another? Of course, it's also hard to say what's a fair win total before we know who our QB will be. Who grabbed that MLB position? Did we get some WR help?
  2. I didn't talk about throws Taylor MISSED instead was talking about the ones he was too conservative to actually THROW. I know, you miss Taylor. I get it. But as a QB, he was (in his time here) a lower tier starting QB. As a QB he is mediocre. He's a heck of an athlete though.
  3. Yea, he turned the ball over but was actually playing and not being conservative.
  4. It's flawed...yet you don't know what my idea of average is. Very interesting counter point you have there.
  5. Absolutely. It's one of the reasons that he has so few 4th quarter comebacks IMO. Oddly one of the games that I though he looked the most comfortable in was the 2nd half of the Charger game. Game was lost so he was just out there. A lot less pressure on him to be careful and he slung it around pretty well. The guy can play...when he plays. The Tennessee game that he basically won by himself...another example of what he could be. Truthfully, some of it I'm certain is on coaches wanting him to play conservative. But you have to be willing to take...as Beane said... calculated risks.
  6. And yet Sam Darnold is going to be a top 2-3 pick despite his turnover issues. How odd. And if the other QB MAKES the play then I don't see it as a turnover. That's a broad assumption on your behalf. If you can assume that I can assume that when someone says makes the play it's a success. Tomato/potato I suppose.
  7. Absolutely not. I'd see what the Broncos at 5 were looking for instead.
  8. It's not literally true, but it's really not that far away. For every turnover he didn't throw there was a play that even an average QB would have made that he left on the field. You can cost your team in many other ways than just turnovers.
  9. Leadership. Work ethic. Being well dressed (or so they say). Literally all he brings to the table. Eventually they will actually play football. They will see he doesn't move an offense. Holds the ball too long. Plays way too conservative. And they will yell and scream to play the rookie.
  10. While I don't think Beane will get out negotiated, I do think that some team may get desperate and throw way too much up there. Sometimes in business the best deals done are the ones you don't make. I have confidence that Beane will find the best QB possible at the smartest value.
  11. I think the feelers are already out there myself. Elway will know by draft night what Beane would give.
  12. Honestly it's the deal the Bills HAVE to make. Can't let Arizona/Miami or someone else jump up to that slot.
  13. We should sign him just to let Dez know there's no space for him. Then cut him after.
  14. Not my first (or second or third) choice but I feel like we end up with Josh Allen.
  15. Near Halloween? So now when we fling "Brady Mouthpieces" on the field we can wear disguises.
  16. That's where I'm at as well. Only way it makes sense to give up what it would take to get to 2 is if we think the Jets are going to take "our guy" whomever that may be.
  17. Trade up. Of course just in that camp it's split as well between the "trade the farm" and go to 2 and the "sell a few tractors and a couple cows" and move to 6-9 people.
  18. Ok. So you really didn't do a "mock draft" you did a "what I kinda sorta want to happen" draft. Again, to understand where you're coming from it really helps to see the first 11 to see what's happened before and what the thought process is.
  19. Maybe. Sure. But ever think maybe 2 of those teams are not going QB? I'd say extremely highly probable. Trouble with the way you present your picks is it may make sense to you, but to everyone else it looks like you're just plugging things in out of thin air... especially backed up with a completely senseless trade on both sides. But I'm game, what did your first 11 look like before Smith at 12? I'm genuinely curious how you saw him available at 12.
  20. Ok. Here's honest feedback. 1. Smith is likely not going to be there at 12. Doubt he gets past Oakland. 2. So, Philly trades Foles for 10spots in the first and the first pick in round 3? Great, who's their starter week 1 if Wentz isn't ready? Who's their QB if Wentz gets reinjured? And why would Buffalo make this trade? They want to tie their careers to a 29 year old QB that has more bad than good on film? NOTHING about this trade is based in makes sense. It's more like you fit it in because it's someone you want. Aside from that when when the lastly time a player was shipped for a 1st round pick on Draft Day? Honestly cannot remember. I'm on board with the next 2 picks...depending on who else is on the board. Orlando Brown to me screams avoid. Not because of his combine. He got that "Ha, I got paid now I can slack" vibe. Next 2 picks I'd again be on board with depending on who else is on the board.
  21. I will mock that this mock will be mocked worse than any other mock in history.
  22. Wins. After extensive research I have deducted that QBs that win more tend to have more successful careers.
  23. Why I would be worried: -Dave Culley -Lack of arm talent -That picture of him in the Pats gear Why I would NOT be worried: -The Process -Have to trust it
