Bills at Titans on MNF. Predict the score.
BuffaloBillyG replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm feeling a slight letdown game after last week's huge win. Titan games are always choppy and sloppy looking. They always seem to out physical the Bills for some reason. The Bills do have a fairly good track record of keeping Henry in check. However this may be Tennessee's Super Bowl so they will come out in force. I think the Bills hold them off in a hard hitting scrappy game. Difference in this game is week in and week out there is not one on the field that NEEDS to win like Josh Allen. He may be the most driven player on the NFL. Bills: 20 Titans: 16 Would love to see Moss do a Henry impression and take it to those lowlife Titans. Calling my shot here though: This is the Gabe Davis "get right" game. -
Should we be thanking JJ Watt for not choosing Buffalo?

Sometimes it's obvious when people draft on need over talent. See EJ Manuel. They didn't even try and lie and say he was the to player. ๐๐ -

I don't think it would have impacted the pick. If anything we may have passed on Boogie, but Beane is known for taking the name that sits on top of his board. Addison would likely have been cut free or traded if we still took Boogie IMO. -
My 2 cents. The Chiefs have been chasing big name free agents for both sides of the ball. A couple have worked out but most have been iffy at best. This worked in the short term however this plan is never sustainable. In short, by not building for the long term they are closing the window on themselves. While they were doing that other teams were drafting well. Signing free agents that may not have been as big of a name...but were better fits scheme and personality wise. Buffalo, Cleveland, the Chargers have caught and passed them by. Sure, they have Mahomes and will be competitive. However they now also get to play Mahomes and try and rehaul a defense. This will take time. Meanwhile other teams have young talent on rookie deals and are pulling away. Mahomes is great. However you need more than a QB to compete. Ask the Packers.

Oh I would too. But it the same time I could see KC's season just unraveling as well. If this is the week that DLine of WFT shows up it could be really close.

I have to pull for Baltimore in this one. Agree with the idea that they really aren't a threat for the 1 seed and injuries will hold them back. Chargers have been a SOLID team for years that was held back in part to injuries and bad coaching. Seems to have been addressed. Obviously have to go for the Cards and (gag) Cowgals. Would love to see Jacksonville pound Miami. Now if only the WFT could upset the Chiefs as well. I think that could be a sneaky good game as WFT can move the ball on the KC defense. Gonna be a shootout.

And they still held Henry to under 60 yards rushing. Play that same game plan with the talent we have on the field now. Tanny won't have time to throw and when her does we have the guys to hang with their players now.

Ah the classic defense of "Whatabout-itis". Often used to shield the fact the the person that used that defense agrees with the offender and is trying (weakly) to defend their own views. One of my pet peeves when topics like this come out as well. Never ceases to amaze me how many people willingly expose their own nature when topics like these come up.

All 5 other guys had amazing days. Burrow to Chase is going to be fun too watch for years. Mills played well. Harris was as advertised. But let's go GROOOOOOT

Pretty sure they were showing him coming in as a blocking WR on running plays. They used the same formation to fool KC into thinking we would run and it reaulted in the 2nd Sanders TD catch from what I have read. Situational design.

Agree, which is why I had said if he's available. Sounded like he was close Sunday night though. Of course to play devil's advocate...never know what will happen in the NFL. We could rest him this week, let him tale the bye week and the game after that he could get hurt. So, gotta use who you can when you can๐

I have a feeling Frazier will be Raiders #1 target

Another off season coming where everyone pretends Bieniemy is a thing? -
BWHAHAHAHA!!! Lamar is so overrated. I really hope the Ravens give him a HUGE contract

Here is my thought process on it. The Browns took Greg Newsome with the 26th pick last year. I believe that is the point where we may pick (if Beane likes someone he would come up from 32๐). His rookie deal was 4 years $12,748,754 ($3,187,189 APY with a 5th year option). That would in my opinion be a starting point for Wallace. Beef it up a bit because he knows the scheme, has worked with all the other DBs and we know what we have in him. Tweek it a tad and I could see a 3 year 16.5 million offer. (5.5 million APY). Throw some incectives on it and it would be a fair deal for both sides. However I'm sure his agent would argue that Taron's new deal is the starting point.

I'm expecting to see a lot of 4-3 defense out of the Bills in this one.
