  1. Guys, I know this is a hot take...but I'm starting to think this Allen kid is pretty good at football.
  2. Would have been the perfect play call at the end of the Rams game right before calling the time out.
  3. Sign him for...what role? Coleman, Cooper and Shakir are all better. And Mack Hollins is the "dirty work" guy that has been surprisingly reliable with the hands. So that lands him as our what...#5 WR? Why would we sign a guy with the obvious mental issues he has to sit so far down the roster. Juice isn't worth the squeeze here in any way.
  4. Elway was always my closest comp. But I also see a lot of Steve McNair in his game. Especially the way both move in the pocket.
  5. Josh's have em out there running go patterns.
  6. All fun and games until the snap ricochets off Allen's ***** and gets recovered by the defense.
  7. Ray Davis is gonna have some numbers. I see us running a bit here and getting out to a good lead. Davis will be part of that as well as primary ball carrier in the 4th as we run the clock out. Defensively...Groot has himself a GAME.
  8. IceBowl Yes it's a schtick. He does the same act on many other teams forums too. Of course he refuses to admit it's him.
  9. I'm fairly certain I've seen that same hat at Wegmans
  10. The Genetic Freak From Firebaugh
  11. Wish the best for Barmore. He's one of the few players the Pats have Id poach if I could. Huge loss for their defense for the rest of the year
  12. Gonna need a big venue for the wedding night festivities.
  13. Man, Dion really does hate Jets
  14. Die hard fans, even the ones that will be unable to attend in person will still watch at home. And even if a small amount don't the viewership is larger than Buffalo. It's indeed world wide. More TVs will tune in to watch a better game or a game with a "must see TV" type player like Allen. So yes, you are correct, with ad dollars being determined by viewership it motivates them to entice more of the world to run into a better game. What you said actually works in my favor here. They're willing to tick off a few thousand to draw in an extra million viewers.
  15. In a stunning turn of events, Madden offices flooded from texts, emails and phone calls from agents and players around the NFL begging to have their rating lowered so they don't end up on the goddamn Jets. Probably.
  16. I get the sentiment, but what makes the NFL so financially successful are the Network and sponsor deals. That's where the majority of cash flow is at and that's who they appease by showing better games on those networks.
  17. This is gonna be one of those games where we make a team that has no business being close look way better than they are. Just feels like it. I still like the Bills to win, but it's not gonna be a laugher. I think Maye does well enough on the ground and in the air to keep them in it. And their defense isn't terrible. Pats-24 Bills-30
  18. I thought that was the whole point of getting in the scrum.
  19. That's it. My not watching of ESPN will CONTINUE! That'll show em.
  20. Or, you take that money and use it to extend Shakir.
  21. He'll play. Of course, three tough opponents and whenever he messes up or they drop a game we get to hear "Yeah, well safe to wonder if Pats ankle wasn't hurt the Chiefs win this one." Built in excuse. And if they do win it's "The hero Pat Mahomes is so simply awesome, he's playing in one leg" Meanwhile our QB has been hobbled with the hand injury and God knows what else since week 1, running around saying "It's just a flesh wound", is playing good enough to be the leading MVP candidate and not a word
  22. Agreed. The Rams have 2 of the best zone beaters in the NFL in Puka and Kupp. Their just a nightmare matchup. And the Lions are an offensive juggernaut. Patriots are a perfect "get right" opponent this week, with a slight challenge of the Jets the following week. Rodgers to Adams looks to be on track and Wilson is still Wilson. So that will present some challenges before taking on the Pats again to tune up for the playoffs. I could easily see point totals being around 16-25 for the next three weeks each.
  23. Yeah well Buffalo didn't want him and his Ryan Gosling looking arse.
  24. Division games are always tough. Especially late in season. I don't expect any of the next 3 games to be "gummies". Both teams have pretty good defenses that can keep them in the game...and the Jets have found some stride on offense. I honestly could see us dropping one to the Pats. It's tough to beat the same team twice in a three week span. Especially if we rest a few extra guys week 18.
